King the Land Episode 8 Reactions
The final scene of episode eight frames the main couple's first kiss (Sa-Rang and Gu Won). Well, I loved it. The direction is fantastic, marvellous, just amazing. Every cut of this scene is perfect, mostly close-ups, which are my favourites. Every shot makes me feel emotionally and physically involved in the moment. The actors are excellent as well: their movements, their hands, their breaths feel so natural and romantic, delicate; his eyes full of desire. The take is intimate and sensual. The 'rain' is also a further poetic element. The position is extremely right (on the kitchen's counter) and adds dynamism to the whole scene. Pauses and slow motions are crucial elements: in particular, first they stare at each other, then, right before the kiss, there's the usual 'consent pause' (in this case, a close-up on Gu Won's face). They talk with their soft touches and their eyes. Eyes that she carefully closes, approving the action that is about to follow. There's a second important pause, before the second kiss: again, desire and love fill their eyes. About music, I would have preferred 'Confess to you' as the soundtrack, but it's just because I really like this song; I know the sound aspect is well looked after: the track that is actually used is nice, slow, sentimental and matches the vibe. My rating here is only destined for this astonishing and wonderful kiss. Pure magic, nothing further to add.

I've been watching Korean dramas since I was a kid, and I must say, Yoona and Junho have the best, sexiest, sweetest, intense, romantic, and real kiss in all the K-dramas I've watched. They are like a real couple, and we feel the love between them. There is no awkwardness, and they are both comfortable with each other. Only real couples can do this, which is why I wonder how they can do that. The tension between them is insane!

Such a beautiful episode. Love how the three friends are there for one another and how the male lead character just blends right in. It has set us up for a rough ride until all gets smoothed out by the last episode. Love the ost and scenery. Each setting depicts the mood of that sequence.

The best kiss of the series. I like how the tension is build up toward the end of the episode. The asking for permission is to die for. :) I really liked this episode. Almost come to a climax.

Hilarious. Beautifully written, the chemistry between the main pair just gets better and better, and the cinematography and music is beautiful. Best drama of the season so far.

I couldn't believe my eyes because I had seen a scene where I didn't expect this thing to happen. The kiss given by both parties is very romantic.

Easily this kiss rates in my top 3 k-drama kisses. It even had me blushing!I started liking this show from epusode 5 and it has only gotten better from there.
