Uniqueness
Most of the time, K-drama is known for its romcom or action series/movies, but it's unique. These types of dramas are not made that much; if made, they would be underrated, and I can see by some people's reactions in reviews about this drama in my view that it's slow, but it's a good type of slow; I don't find it boring. I love the small details and how we can see the male and female lead perspectives and how I feel that ending will be jaw-dropping that we, the audience, didn't predict. This drama has lots of depth; if you are searching for a comedy cliche love story, this drama is not for you guys. It's unique. It's a little slow because it's showing the story's small details from both leads perspectives over the same events.Was this review helpful to you?
Coming out of the box, The Witch is breaking records.
I have high expectations for the Korean Drama The Witch (2025). It is based off of the Webtoon "Manyeo", by Kang Full. This is the writer who brought us the Award Winning an highly decorated Korean Dramas Moving and Light Shop. The Witch is a delicious Mystery Romance Drama, which is a captivating character study.The story is served up with the refined script-writing of Cho Yu Jin and has great cinematography. Watch how in the opening episode, in one scene, the snow is drifting upwards to the sky and not downwards, casting a haunting effect.
Can persons be cursed? It seems that a young lady (Park Mi-jeong played by Roh Jeong-eui) has the frequent misfortune to witness all those who come to her bravely to express their love meet accidental death or severe injury. This gets Park Mi-jeong labeled as a Witch by many, as her schoolmates ostracize her. Eventually she withdraws from the town and from life.
A Data Miner and logical thinker who is ruled by numbers (Lee Dong-jin played by Park Jin-young) went to high school with this unfortunate girl. Lee Dong-jin always had sympathized with Park Mi-jeong. However, he wanted to find a logical reason for these seeming mysterious coincidences, or are they? Should he risk his life to find out?
Lee Dong-jin runs into Park Mi-jeong several years after graduating from High School. He wonders if the girl is living well in later years. A chance meeting, and he follows her home.
Murphy’s Law
Does Park Mi-jeong suffer from the Murphy’s Law syndrome? It states “ Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”. We will find out with the outcome of the Korean Drama The Witch.

Jinyoung's acting is phenomenal. I like the contrast between his student and adult versions.
I didn't know the female actress but she left a good impression on me. I was able to empathize with her.
I wish I could watch all the episodes right away and solve the mystery of the witch.

Engaging
So Before writing this review I would like to tell that I am in a kdrama slump last drama I completed kicking and screaming was Mr plankton and Queen of tears ( bcoz it was trending alot and I am in love with kwak dongyeon )I have been waiting for this one because of The Moving obviously!
Okay now review of Ep 1 so far is biggest thing for me engagement i got into the show pretty fast for my current attention span i didn't touch my phone for that reason only it deserves a watch. From very start intresting things are happening into the show and you are Curious about it! The Ep 1 is a nice mastery on how you keep up with the plotline you wanna show without dragging and also give good enough dose of yearning from your male lead for female lead. They also make you curious about The infamous witch about how she knows about this curse of her does she know whats wrong with her? This will take you back to the show bcoz yes I do wanna know if this is actually supernatural show or this is just a strange phenomena of baddest luck.

Oh yes Jinyoung was really sexy in that last scene in tight black shirt ✌️

Top notch! A MUST WATCH!
I’ve watched only 2 episodes and it got me hooked already!! Both ML n FL, DongJinyoung & MiJeongeui (Affectionally this is what they called each other lol) are excellent actors, they really can act and act with their eyes, especially Jinyoung, he’s the whole package!! I’m literally memsermizsed by him!! He’s so cute, funny, handsome, talented and full of charisma!! I can’t wait for next episode! Great acting, intriguing story.
Park Jinyoung brought Lee Dongjin's emotions to life beautifully. The way Jinyoung altered his voice for the two different timelines makes the passage of time in the show more believable, and it's something I haven't seen in many other shows.His playfulness during the student days or his slightly mischievous antics with his mom are so endearing. And the contrast of the grown up version of the character was executed artfully. Especially, the scene where he goes "Do you believe witches exist?" was so good.
Not really familiar with Roh Jeongeui's previous work but she was great in this show so far. Really looking forward to the next episodes!

A Sweet and Haunting Love Story with Stellar Performances
Park Jin Young shines as our shy and nerdy male lead. He is awkward but adorable, quietly watching over the female lead from afar. He hesitates to get too close but never hesitates to defend her when others spread cruel rumors. Whether he’s collecting money for an umbrella or capturing memories with an old-school camera, it’s clear—he’s completely smitten.Roh Jeong Eui is a rising star! Though small in stature, her presence is powerful. In the first episode, she barely speaks, but when she does, every word lands with impact. She keeps her distance, both physically and emotionally, making her loneliness feel even more real. However, in rare moments, we get a glimpse of her softer side—a hint of what she could be if she let someone in.

Solo il titolo ha di sbagliato questo drama....
Ci sono dei drama che se non li avessi visti on air molto probabilmente, avendo tutti gli episodi a disposizione, dopo i primi (max 4) sarei andata direttamente alla fine per vedere dove voleva andare a parare la trama.... e nel caso di questo drama molto probabilmente lo avrei fatto.... ed avrei commesso un errore.Il drama è lento ma non ho trovato alcuna parte superflua, anzi l'essersi soffermato sugli elementi cardine, averli ripresi poi come flashback, ha sottolineato lo spunto della trama e tutta l'intensità emotiva ben interpretata dai protagonisti.
Personalmente non credo che al mondo esistano persone con questo tipo di "maledizione" così indiscriminata, ma so per certo - esperienza diretta, molto diretta ed incredibile - che esistono persone che hanno una forte negatività che si concretezza con eventi ben precisi - ma il messaggio che l'Amore risolve tutto lo trovo vero, e che "tutto può essere", altrettanto.
L'unica cosa sbagliata di questo drama? IL TITOLO !!!
Qua non ci sta nessuna stregaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Ma strega???? Naaaaaaaaaaaa.....

Wonderful
This drama is such amazing! The persons who leave an review without finishing it, should consider watch until the end. The proposal of this drama is to going through the laws of the curse for a love and is greatly executed! The actors made a great work ok interpretation and the math part is also fun! Learn about the theory ofnLee Dong Jun is amazing, and not knowing what will happen until the end is a great part of the Drama. I really loved to watch and will stronglly recommend to everyone! independientemente de lo que mucha gente comente a mi me pareció una buena historia, quizás algo lenta pero en lo personal me atrapo bastante.😊 No soy de ver dramas tan lentos y este lo vi y no lo sentí nada pesado. 😉La historia se va mezclando lentamente, es por esto que hay que tener un poco de paciencia al verla. Si eres de los que no soporta ver historias lentas y que los protagonistas casi no se vean, este drama no es para ti. 👍🏻
Me hubiese gustado verlos más tiempo juntos pero me conformo con lo que nos dieron.

ACHEI QUE FOSSE UMA COISA E NO FINAL NADA
Criei realmente muita expectativa com esse drama, estava se falando muito nas redes sociais então esperei sair todos os episódios para começar e da uma chance, pela sinopse realmente me interessei achei que seria uma história de suspense dinâmico onde aconteceriam vários acontecimentos bombásticos envolta da menina e o prota se poria ao lado dela desde sempre mostrando que apesar dos acontecidos ele ainda estava ali. Porém só se mostrou uma série chata que não acontece nada , que a prota só fica com cara de sofrência (e essa é a que eu mais odeio ) se sentindo realmente infeliz por tudo mas também não faz nada para mudar nada e o o protagonista masculino também não faz nada fica só olhando e dizendo por trás que não é bem assim mas realmente não levanta a voz para defender ela em nada e só pensa em números e blablabla e isso se seguiu por chatos 5 episódios e não tinha acontecido nada NADA de relevante que realmente te prenda a série que só tem 10 episódios até aquele momento , então para você que disse que amou esse drama por favor me diga onde está o grande plot da trama por que ele não apareceu e ficou uma coisa sem nexo e chata de se assistir monótona com diálogos arrastados e sem explicação, quando a mãe dele morreu achei que ele iria atrás da menina para falar sobre a casa como uma desculpa ou algo do gênero mas não ele só continuou fazendo pesquisas sem sentido tentando provar que era só estatística quando ele poderia só ter se aproximado dela e resolver junto com ela .eu não recomendo você assistir principalmente se você não gostar de coisas que só se resolvem por encantamento nos últimos 10 minutos de trama

C'est plat malgré un synopsis accrocheur...
Franchement, grosse déception pour moi... 😕 Le titre et le synopsis étaient hyper accrocheurs, mais le résultat est plat et lent, au point que j’ai eu l’impression de suivre une expérience sur une souris de laboratoire 🐭🔬Episode 5, toujours pas de vraie rencontre entre les leads... Ils évoluent chacun de leur côté, et il faut attendre la fin de l’épisode 6 pour enfin les voir face à face… pendant 2 minutes 😴💤
Autant dire que c’est frustrant quand on s’attend à une romance immersive. Leur relation manque de profondeur et de crédibilité, et du coup, je ne me suis pas du tout attachée à eux 🫠
Maintenant parlons du rythme… c’est d’une lenteur extrême 🐌 Chaque épisode traîne en longueur 🥱
J’attendais un moment clé, un tournant fort, mais rien ne décolle vraiment. Tout est posé, mais sans réel impact émotionnel ou tension dramatique.
Si tu t’attends à une romance pleine de passion dans un monde rempli de magie, passe ton chemin ! On est plus dans une ambiance froide et contemplative, où on attend désespérément que quelque chose se passe… et ça n’arrive jamais vraiment 😶🌫️
Si vous aimez les dramas rythmés avec une histoire d’amour forte, celui-ci risque de vous frustrer… 👎🏻
