Solomon introduces Naomi to Sunja. Solomon's plans regarding Han's lot is progressing as he wants. The rice harvest is destroyed by a fire. Mr. Kim and Kyunghee give in to their mutual attraction. This episode is marked by its romantic angle, not just one pair but three. However, it maintains its avoidance of cheap sentiment, in turn maintaining the quality of its writing and acting.
