not ur average fairytale romance
avoid if u dont like toxic relationships LOLpros:
- what makes this kdrama very unique is that its definitely not ur average fairytale romance. i found the thoughts and actions of the female lead very realistic, like her overthinking when she realises that hes toxic, being unsure whether she should continue to pursue the "relationship" or move on to someone else. i also thought the male lead would be outright toxic but i realised that it isnt actually very clear from the start, after watching more of the show ull pick up "clues" that show how manipulative he is. i like it because it displays relationships in real life)
- if u like to watch kdramas with friendgroups u can give this show a try! it definitely shows the messiness of a university friendgroup - them dating each other, facing drama all while having to juggle schoolwork at once
- also props to the second couple (Ngl there were a lot of couples but if uve watched the show u would know which one i mean) because THEY WERE SO INTERESTING AND UNEXPECTED i loved them sm (probably more than the main couple!)
cons:
- Uhhhh as the show suggests, obviously THE RELATIONSHIP IS TOXIC. this may not be everyones cup of tea and its ok!
- may be boring especially if u dont like romance (some parts were boring even for me as someone who enjoys romance) the relationship is really slow paced and theres rlly not much going on other than showing their college life

No Regrets, Just Love
A chill, cozy k-drama. At first, I thought this was going to be a depressing, melancholy drama. But when I read the reviews, I was able to understand that the drama is focusing on the current nature of young adults portrayal of "love". I love all the actors - the casting is just dynamic. No betrayals/fighting within group of friends, everyone has their own character to play.I agree with some of the reviewers that the story is a bit dragging. It felt like each episode is so slow and you just want to fast forward most of the scenes. But one thing I loved the most in this drama is their soundtrack, I literally fell in love with all of their song choices. Every song choice fits well to every scene, it can be very soothing and pleasing at times, or upbeat and fun on the other.
Overall, I liked the drama. Although I already know the ending of the lead characters, I still finished each episode and had a smile on my face when the series ended. I am not having any regrets for watching this one! ;)

Real Relationships
The storyline is for a 16+ audience . The story is realistic storyline that occurs in actual relationships. The major of storylines in current dramas are ridiculous portrayals of interactions between adults. But the portrayals of women as constantly being hungry and dumb as a post is unnecessary. Individuals can be naive and that is ok but to extremes that some dramas go to is unnecessary. I enjoyed this drama very much it had a more authentic vibe to actual relationships. Knowing that sometimes people are taken advantage of in relationships is not a bad thing to know and will help others understand that they are not singled out when things don’t go the way they planned. These two worked out their problems and saved their relationship which can actually happen. Was this review helpful to you?

Clingy Woman and A Walking Redflag = No Bueno
honestly when I started to watch nevertheless, it started slow and all like other kdramas but as I continued to watch it, i honestly didn’t felt the spark on the show.I will give it to the cinematography cause it was beautiful and the side characters cause they perhaps carry out the show than the main ones of the story.
also I would applaud Han So Hee and Song Kang for taking a bold risqué role that could be censored in Korea but nevertheless did the risk for mainstreaming. Other than that, I have nothing else to say than that.
although I would applaud for both

was in it for the sapphics
I'm going to be honest with you guys. I only watched this show for the sapphic side couple. To be completely honest, I have watched approximately 10 mins. of the show outside of the wlw couple, so maybe I am not qualified enough to write a review. Then again, who cares. Seo Ji Wan and Yoon Sol owned my heart from the very first picture I saw on Tumblr. Very cute story, very sweet. My only complaint is that they really got very small screen time and it could've and should've been longer, but since they are only a side couple, I guess I take what I can get.The friends to lovers trope lovers keep winning. I do not regret watching this show solely for them.

Disappointing and frustrating to watch
This drama was bearable until half way. After half way, the drama got frustrating, felt like it kept dragging and was annoying for me,I wasn't interested in Nabi's university classmates and was annoyed by them gossiping about Nabi so much.
I was only interested in Nabi's and Park Jae Eon's relationship.
Nabi was very bland and wasn't interesting.
Sohee and Song Kang had good chemistry in the drama.

i enjoyed it I guess
I was more interested in the 2 side couples than homegirls toxic love triangle.watched it for the lesbians, worth it 10/10.
nabi needs to step up and think for a second fr
the straight other couple was great as well, that tsundere type of woman ahahah
nice enough, I recommend you watch it, the lesbian couple had few moments, but carried.
thats all, enjoy

Red Flag Romance You Can’t Look Away From
Nevertheless is a drama that left me with mixed feelings. It was my first Song Kang drama, and while I can appreciate his portrayal of the broody, walking red flag that is Park Jae-eon, the overall story felt like a blend of slow burn and frustration rather than a heart-tugging romance. The drama follows Yoo Na-bi (played by Han So-hee), an art student navigating love, self-discovery, and some seriously questionable relationship choices. She finds herself drawn to Park Jae-eon, the classic bad boy with a mysterious aura, who is always sketching butterflies and sending mixed signals. Meanwhile, there's her childhood friend Yang Do-hyeok, who represents the stable, wholesome love she should go for, but let’s be honest—this isn’t that kind of drama.
Beyond the romance, Nevertheless touches on the struggles of an art student, with moments that explore creativity, passion, and the weight of past relationships (like the toxic ex who literally sculpted her—yikes). There’s a lot of yearning, intense eye contact, and physical intimacy, but it never quite evolves into an emotionally gripping love story. It’s more about attraction and the pull of someone you know is bad for you but can’t resist.
Despite the pacing being slow at times, the chemistry between Han So-hee and Song Kang is undeniable. Even when the plot feels repetitive, they make it watchable. If you’re here for deep, emotional romance, this might not be the one. But if you're in the mood for beautiful cinematography, an aesthetically pleasing couple, and a red flag romance you can’t look away from—Nevertheless, you’ll probably still watch it.

Good enough to watch
Bro he was caught red handed and he was cheating but even after that she had the guts to date him 😂. They often broke the bed so I would not prefer it for kids.I fell in love with Song Kang in this movie. He looked too innocent to cheat on someone. I am going to get a butterfly tattoo on my neck. I really expected them to break up and I wanted Nabi to accept the second male leads feelings, he was also quite.....no.....really cute but I still prefer Song Kang. I don't get why a girl would be attracted to a boy who lied and cheated on her. It is good enough to watch. Was this review helpful to you?

Waste of good actors and osts with the awful storyline
I think this is one of the worst kdramas i've ever watch in my life... I have a lot of expectations for this drama bcs of the craze and popularity and also for song kang and han so hee's chemistry but it's a big disappointment...the actors did a great job to portray their characters but the story itself is so cringy and toxic at some point it really make me feel uncomfortable, and also i don't see any character development throughout this drama and the ending was just so awful...i do regret watching this drama and the fact that i'm more invented in the side character stories than the lead characters...i can't explain how annoying this drama is...but i must say that this drama has the best ost of all the time, and also the cinematography was also good...Was this review helpful to you?
