Its not matched with real-life event though its a fun experienced,
Acting Was tremendous , specially han so hea ..
But Story Directing Is little bit off , there was some pointe that i want to stop watching because of the story Directing.
As like male lead ... if he wants her than just tell her simple.... but again everyone story is different, that's how our life is interesting.

ending made it best from worse
As a fan of Nevertheless webtoon I always wanted this to get adapted into a Korean drama. And Alas! it actually turned that this webtoon is getting adapted to a drama. Probably I was the most happiest person after this but this drama turned down all my happiness.trust me the plot of this drama was so common yet unique still. for those who are still confused about watching this I will definitely suggest you to read the webtoon instead of watching this crap.
PLOT: well this drama had a great start but after the first half they actually dragged the story and it felt nothing. Normally kdramas are filled with cliché moments and the most unrealistic things but this drama actually had the potential to show the reality. It starts with a girl named nabi who was cheated by his ex boyfriend and now she doesn't want any relationships but eventually she falls for a playboy named park jae eon. so rather than getting into a relationship she decide to be s*x partners but later she realized she fell for him and expected the same but that was not the case after that the drama takes a huge turn and adds a new cast as the second lead of the drama. trust me everyone expected him to be the main lead as he was caring and of course a good guy. what happens after than and whom nabi chooses is not worth it according to the story but if you're here for any of the cast then you should definitely not miss this one.
This dramas second leads were better than the main ones like the two girls their story was unique for most of the kdrama fans and bit na and that guy were kind of cute and awkward. the couple in the office were okay as their story was ordinary but sweet
the girl who was with jae eon, her side of story needed more screen time as it was never explained what was going between them but okay.
CAST: trust me each cast was perfect specially Han so hee and nabi. she just looked exactly like the webtoon female lead specially when she ties her hair and
song kang was the the perfect choice for jae eon the butterfly guy. he portrayed the character well but the writer did dirty to him. he was supposed to be a playboy not a person who was emotionally scared like that ruined the character and his mother's appearance was too unnecessary like why.
our potato boy aka yang do hyuk literally he was such a good person but literally dumb like he always knew that she was never into her still he decided to wait and that shit was so f*cked up but he got his happy ending alternatively so okay
other cast were also good specially the girl Seol ah she perfectly played her role and I personally loved her the most
MUSIC: the most perfect thing about this drama was the background songs. each song was perfectly blended to the scene and definitely was a pleasure to ears
the main ost by Sam Kim's ''love me like that'' was the best of all of them.
REWATCH: Never..!!! this literally gave me a headache
I personally think the drama could have been a lot better and education if they could have followed the webtoon or at least they could have followed the ending. the ending was literally the worst.
If you're thinking about watching this then think twice and then watch at your own risk. their are many erotic scene at the start but later their isn't much of that.
ENJOY Y'LL!!

Very Good Drama But Ending Could Have Been Better
First drama I watched in a very long time and it was worth it.I really liked the storyline and it is very prominent in society today how their relationship played out for the majority of the drama (besides the special part of fade).
But I wasn’t so fond of the ending.
I feel like it should have ended with the two of them in a art museum together looking at different pieces and enjoying each other’s company.
the last piece of art they should have looked at should have been a butterfly art piece with them being happy and admiring it while nabi says it was truly fate for us to be together.
and it should have pictured them walking out the frame together with the art piece left in the frame while it lights up or depicting the butterfly coming to life and flying away.
And I know this is very detailed but this is all I could ever imagine the ending being.

a ray of hope that left me feeling disappointed
《Nevertheless,》 started with a strong storyline, interesting, somewhat relatable and lovable characters and a realistic background. And it ended with never-ending misunderstandings and cliches, horrible character development and awfully unsatisfying choices....
[Spoilers]
The story is about how an insecure and anxious Na-bi gets entangled with the creepy, playboy Jae-On who doesn't want to get into a relationship and only wants to have casual sex. This dude, from the start, seemed very interesting and had a whole bunch of red flags. And Na-bi knew what kind of person he is and how much complicated her life will become if associated with this guy. But Na-bi, despite knowing all of that, agrees to have casual sex with this creepy yet fascinating dude.
At first, both of them, were happy having casual sex and being "friends with benefit" or more like, "strangers with benefit". But problem starts arising and that was the ray of hope for me to see Na-bi having some character development. Well, she pretty much did. She ended it all with our creepy dude and finds a potato guy who loves her and is definitely not a fascinating yet creepy guy. Potato guy is just a normal, passionate and sweet guy who doesn't have any red flags and walks around with heart on his sleeves.
However, all of Na-bi's decent character development ended with Jae-On's apologize and a steamy kiss. With a steamy kiss, a few weird drawing and some months'(?) leap, she decided that she loves Jae-On and will date him, even though both of them (she and him) aren't sane and are probably not in their right mind for a healthy and loving relationship.

The music in this drama is just beautiful and it introduced me with RIO. She is such an awesome singer:)
The best relationship for me was the lesbian couple. I wish they gave them a bit more screentime. They were just adorable. Even though they had a lot of fights and misunderstandings, they are definitely one of the best couples i have seen so far:")
My 2nd best couple would be the teacher couple. They were real cuties^-^
I disliked the bffs to lovers couple for some reason:'/ not sure why:')
Overall, i do think is a good drama which had so much potential, but ended up being rather repetitive, predictable and cliched.
《Nevertheless,》had the good actors, an awesome and refreshing storyline and great cinematography(?) and beautiful OSTs. Also, the first half was really interesting and promising and execution, acting done by all the actors was amazing and came across as natural. But the 2nd half just seemed another "feisty girl falls in love with a playboy dude" kind of story. I think it is one of the best example of a waste of talents.

not ur average fairytale romance
avoid if u dont like toxic relationships LOLpros:
- what makes this kdrama very unique is that its definitely not ur average fairytale romance. i found the thoughts and actions of the female lead very realistic, like her overthinking when she realises that hes toxic, being unsure whether she should continue to pursue the "relationship" or move on to someone else. i also thought the male lead would be outright toxic but i realised that it isnt actually very clear from the start, after watching more of the show ull pick up "clues" that show how manipulative he is. i like it because it displays relationships in real life)
- if u like to watch kdramas with friendgroups u can give this show a try! it definitely shows the messiness of a university friendgroup - them dating each other, facing drama all while having to juggle schoolwork at once
- also props to the second couple (Ngl there were a lot of couples but if uve watched the show u would know which one i mean) because THEY WERE SO INTERESTING AND UNEXPECTED i loved them sm (probably more than the main couple!)
cons:
- Uhhhh as the show suggests, obviously THE RELATIONSHIP IS TOXIC. this may not be everyones cup of tea and its ok!
- may be boring especially if u dont like romance (some parts were boring even for me as someone who enjoys romance) the relationship is really slow paced and theres rlly not much going on other than showing their college life

No Regrets, Just Love
A chill, cozy k-drama. At first, I thought this was going to be a depressing, melancholy drama. But when I read the reviews, I was able to understand that the drama is focusing on the current nature of young adults portrayal of "love". I love all the actors - the casting is just dynamic. No betrayals/fighting within group of friends, everyone has their own character to play.I agree with some of the reviewers that the story is a bit dragging. It felt like each episode is so slow and you just want to fast forward most of the scenes. But one thing I loved the most in this drama is their soundtrack, I literally fell in love with all of their song choices. Every song choice fits well to every scene, it can be very soothing and pleasing at times, or upbeat and fun on the other.
Overall, I liked the drama. Although I already know the ending of the lead characters, I still finished each episode and had a smile on my face when the series ended. I am not having any regrets for watching this one! ;)

SPOILER
I loved this drama too much all along BUT I HATED the ending. I felt frustrated, she was balled. Too many unanswered questions. It's really a shame. What is his story with Seol-Ah? Why did he run to her every time she called him? Who is the man who came to beat him? Which woman was it?Throughout the drama we are left to think that he is a fuckboy in the end we do not even know if he is really one or not... The character is mysterious from beginning to end we know nothing about his story. The story with his mother could have been more developed. There is a lot of suspense in the drama but in the end we have no answer. I'm really on my end...

Real Relationships
The storyline is for a 16+ audience . The story is realistic storyline that occurs in actual relationships. The major of storylines in current dramas are ridiculous portrayals of interactions between adults. But the portrayals of women as constantly being hungry and dumb as a post is unnecessary. Individuals can be naive and that is ok but to extremes that some dramas go to is unnecessary. I enjoyed this drama very much it had a more authentic vibe to actual relationships. Knowing that sometimes people are taken advantage of in relationships is not a bad thing to know and will help others understand that they are not singled out when things don’t go the way they planned. These two worked out their problems and saved their relationship which can actually happen. Was this review helpful to you?
Clingy Woman and A Walking Redflag = No Bueno
honestly when I started to watch nevertheless, it started slow and all like other kdramas but as I continued to watch it, i honestly didn’t felt the spark on the show.I will give it to the cinematography cause it was beautiful and the side characters cause they perhaps carry out the show than the main ones of the story.
also I would applaud Han So Hee and Song Kang for taking a bold risqué role that could be censored in Korea but nevertheless did the risk for mainstreaming. Other than that, I have nothing else to say than that.
although I would applaud for both

was in it for the sapphics
I'm going to be honest with you guys. I only watched this show for the sapphic side couple. To be completely honest, I have watched approximately 10 mins. of the show outside of the wlw couple, so maybe I am not qualified enough to write a review. Then again, who cares. Seo Ji Wan and Yoon Sol owned my heart from the very first picture I saw on Tumblr. Very cute story, very sweet. My only complaint is that they really got very small screen time and it could've and should've been longer, but since they are only a side couple, I guess I take what I can get.The friends to lovers trope lovers keep winning. I do not regret watching this show solely for them.

Disappointing and frustrating to watch
This drama was bearable until half way. After half way, the drama got frustrating, felt like it kept dragging and was annoying for me,I wasn't interested in Nabi's university classmates and was annoyed by them gossiping about Nabi so much.
I was only interested in Nabi's and Park Jae Eon's relationship.
Nabi was very bland and wasn't interesting.
Sohee and Song Kang had good chemistry in the drama.

i enjoyed it I guess
I was more interested in the 2 side couples than homegirls toxic love triangle.watched it for the lesbians, worth it 10/10.
nabi needs to step up and think for a second fr
the straight other couple was great as well, that tsundere type of woman ahahah
nice enough, I recommend you watch it, the lesbian couple had few moments, but carried.
thats all, enjoy
