Dropped this on episode 8
Well, the Korean drama slump for me continues. The first episode was so confusing between the flashbacks and reality scenarios that I was unsure if I should finish or not. I saw in the synopsis that the main character had a supernatural ability to 'identify bad seeds' but the way each episode portrayed, the first incident was by mere accident but the others were just a random coincidence. Then it turned into a watered down vigilante justice drama. Then it went downhill from there.
Each episode barely capitalized why the other people met their demise when they thought they would get away with the crimes they committed. Some characters were just time fillers like the MML's family...What was the point of them being in some of the episodes?? They were utterly useless and had no point in the story line.
The male who played the cop really didn't do anything but chew gum and looked bored.
The guy who played Rho Bin wasn't utilized well at all. With all that technology and smarts they sure made him look dumb and weak. He didn't fit in.
The MML looked sick in every episode which made me wonder was he OK in real life? His whole mood and demeanor was very sombersome. I don't know if he smiled even once throughout the 8 episode series.
This drama was every bit of boring to me. It took me a while to get through each episode. I thought I had capped off a lot but today I was dismayed to see I was only on episode 5. I thought I had watched the majority of the episodes but I barely managed to finish the first 4 episodes and last 4 episodes. I really didn't even finish episode 8. It wasn't going the way I thought it would so I just saved myself the trouble and just stopped it. This drama really drained the life out of me. I really have to stop falling for the high marks from reviewers.

my curiosity makes me finished it!
I super like this suspense-thriller drama, very dark but I like the flow of the story. I like how Lee Tang becomes a murderer by accident but turns out that he killed does who deserves to die, he has the ability to detect if the person is bad. I like the detectives potential and skill to catch the real suspect. The detective is trying to catch Lee Tang where the real bad guy is Song Chon.I like the main actors in this series they really did they job effectively, the reason why I got hooked because of their effectiveness in portraying their roles.
** Not recommended for kids because of the brutality of the killings.

A thrilling and refreshing ride!
I'm glad I decided to watch this and haven't listened to the negative comments.. Some reviews made it sound like it out to be the most boring thing ever, claiming there was no thrill or storyline. But from the moment I started watching, I was hooked, and my love for it only grew with each episode. The storyline was super interesting to me, specially since crime and investigation have always been my favorite genre. Despite having seen my fair share of similar shows, this one managed to surprise me, not just in terms of twists and turns.. There was something about it that made it stand out and feel more enjoyable compared to others, it kept me wondering on where the story was going without making it messy. The show also incorporated some dark humor that had me chuckling from time to time.
I personally gave it a 10 out of 10. However, I understand that it may not be everyone's cup of tea, and it's not flawless. But if you're hesitating to watch based on negative comments, I'd encourage you to give it a chance and form your own opinion, You might discover a hidden gem.

THE ENDING
i kinda like binge watched this show (in two days) and looked forward to it the second i knew. i think the story was interesting and make me anxious about what will happen bUt the ending was bittersweet, like, they didn't catch the ml and even when he said he will show up at the police station he didn't??? i think the kdrama directors aren't giving actual punishments to the villains (?) lately when they should but anyway. i do think it's a great show and i enjoyed it and maybe would rewatch it someday evenWas this review helpful to you?

Come for the supernatural justice, stay for the complete disregard for logic around episode five
A Killer Paradox is a gritty thriller where justice, murder, and confusion all try (and sometimes fail) to play nice. This review is 100% my opinion — I’m not here to hate, just to share my thoughts! Also, SPOILERS AHEAD, so proceed with caution if you haven’t watched yet. Watch it, come back and let’s see if you agree. Let’s keep the discussion respectful and fun! 💕
The Good
A Premise That’s Equal Parts Clever and Chaotic
Leave it to Korean dramas to casually invent a concept where a guy can sense evil, kill people, and somehow walk away squeaky clean. It’s not just unique, it’s genius.
Casting That Actually Understood the Assignment
These actors didn’t just play their roles—they became them. Tang’s awkward dread? Perfectly unhinged. Nan Gam’s deadpan, vague “I’d rather be anywhere else” vibe? Chef’s kiss. So hats off to the casting directors, you did your job right.
The Bad
The Momentum Died After Episode 4
It started strong, dripping with thriller vibes and edge-of-your-seat pacing. But around episode 4? The spark dimmed. The tension unraveled, the pacing dragged, and all the intensity that made the first few episodes addictive faded away. By the time Chon entered the chat, it felt like the writers reached into a grab bag labeled “plot twists?” and pulled out whatever came first.
Logic? We Don’t Know Her.
Roh Bin’s arrival sparked more chaos than clarity. The flashbacks tried to tether the plot together, but they couldn’t patch over the avalanche of unanswered questions. Like:
How did Roh Bin know about Tang and the others?
How did Nan Gam connect all these dots that apparently don’t exist? How did Roh Bin catch on too?
Chon’s sudden intel on Tang?
It’s one thing to leave breadcrumbs. It’s another to hand us a half-baked loaf and say “figure it out.” When the big questions stay unanswered, the mystery doesn’t deepen. It just dissolves into confusion.
Chon’s Fingers & The Decay Mystery
Was his body falling apart one digit at a time? Possibly. But instead of a reveal, we got finger-flicking montages and zero explanation. If it matters to the character, it should matter to the audience. And if you expect viewers to fill in the blanks, that’s not subtle storytelling, it’s sloppy execution. If the show doesn’t say it, it doesn’t exist.
Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, A Killer Paradox wasn’t a disaster… it just wasn’t good. The premise had bite: a guy who kills evil people and walks away clean? Intriguing. But what started with promise unraveled into a mess of unanswered questions and narrative confusion.
One of the core issues? The excitement around the premise overshadowed the basic groundwork. Not every moment has to be thrilling, but it does need to make sense. Why did Tang get his power? How did Roh Bin know about Tang and the other’s powers? These aren’t minor questions, they’re foundational. And when those answers are skipped, the story can’t land no matter how good the hook is.
Sometimes the quiet moments: where characters explain, reflect, or even argue, are exactly what tie everything together. Without those, you’re just left with goosebumps, a hammer, and a pile of plot holes that won’t disappear no matter how much evidence does.

That’s it for the review! This one was kind of shorter and I think it’s because I didn’t really have a lot to say about this, I really kind of just wanted to get this over with lol. But if you want the full version, lmk!
What did you think of this show? Maybe you saw things in a different way, let me know!

Started of too good then become run of the mil rushed story
My proper rating for this show is 7/10. But I like these genres to much and very less shows are made under these themes so will rate it higher than mentioned.First 2 episodes where just too good in terms of writing, acting, comedic elements and especially editing. But later on something starts going wrong mostly because they introduced few characters and killed them off which didn't help any bodies character development. In a short 8 episode series 2 episodes where wasted in deaths of people who didn't move the story anyway.
Later this show converted from dark humor crime series to police drama, its as if the writer and director for these middle episodes where completely different and again in the better half of the final episode we are entertained with same energy first few episodes.
Technical rating 7/10
Biased rating 9/10 (I love these genres combined so)

If you truly appreciate art, you’ll love it
I’m so confused by the bad reviews on this. Because of the lower ratings, I didn’t expect much going in, but boy did my expectations get blown out of the water!Masterfully and beautifully directed. Yes, the storytelling is disjointed, but it’s intentional and it really kept me engaged and guessing. And the acting is great. The old cop guy was phenomenal.
I finished in about two days, and thought it was pretty fast-paced to the end. I greatly preferred over Vigilante, which has a similar premise but is way less artsy and entertaining. I haven’t even finished yet cause I got bored halfway through.
If you appreciate stylized storytelling, you’ll love the show, so give it a chance.

Good one for beginners
if you are new to thriller genre the it is a good drama to be watched.......A short thriller shot with 8 episode is a good start in thriller dramas.
Even though concept of hunches/intuition is kind of illogical but sometime these supernatural power save the day .
Having the urge to serve justice even when you don't have power to do so....yes it is courageous but the path you choose to serve that justice differentiates the good from bad.
Maybe I was expecting more, something was missing but still it was worth it .
Hope this was helpful.
Have a good journey in dramaland.

Started good, but lost it's way midway
Though A Killer Paradox delivers on its promise of a slightly uncomfortable thriller, the limited runtime proves to be a hurdle for character development. A tighter focus and keener sense of the message behind the killings could have elevated the series more. But there's some fun when it comes to killer's sheer ambition, not to mention the wish fulfilment of it all.One of the best aspects of A Killer Paradox is the cinematography. The show features visually stunning images of Tang’s hallucinatory scenes, where the killers haunt him in his dreams. The images play tricks on the viewer and slow-motion shots of him attacking the killers in the action sequences. The series is flooded with bloody red and green lights to show which character is the hero and the villain. The entire second half of the season slows down. Episodes are longer and the plot lags a bit. The scripts lose their crisp structure and become a little sprawling. The ending does leaves loose ends and doesn't satisfy the morality of the show.
My Rating : 5.7/10

The overall story is interesting to watch in the first 4 episodes but it turn a bit slow in between. Although they portray the main character well but there are only a few scenes of him killing others and all you know about is from the police headlines. It would have been better if they portrayed a bit more planning in execution of these criminals. The story also had something missing in it like the dog didn't a any key role. The series is interesting for sure. With thrilling scenes and chase. Hopefully they will create a season two.

Song Chon's story wasn't explained as clearly as I hoped as I still don't understand how he intertwines with everyone's else story as what is his motivation and how he got to that point.
Nam-gan is a cop who needs to rely on others as he is the lone wolf.
It just got messy to quickly with too many characters coming in

murdering needs luck
I'm watching this because of actor Choi Woo Sik.there is unexpected r-rated scene on the first episode , maybe because the writer want to express how emotionless the characer was . anyway its not family friendly so skip that scenes if you want to watch in living room ! hahaha
the storyline was not that bad but not too good .
far from my expectations .
i thought it going to be more thriller and unexpected twist . like vigilante since both of them became a dark hero that punishing people for their crimes .
Honestly Lee Tang never want to be a dark hero but he was stuck in situations that he never think he would encounter it , poor that man .
After Lee Tang killing people i thought he going to be crazy since he often got imagination of people that he murder but he endures it , till he looks like a living human with losing soul.
i'm never thought that murdering people also need luck to survive , Lee Tang was really lucky somehow maybe he save a world once in his past lives . the guy that saves lee tang had a cool characters actually , he got a good intentions and made lee tang unexpected hero . poor that guy because he die in the end .
i was hoping Lee Tang can have a good life with a proper job .
Anyway its a good story to killing times .
