everything happened too fast?
i won't say a lot because i can't fully remember everything BUT i felt that, after seunghyo confessed to seokryu everything was so fast, specifically when seokryu also confessed to him and listen, i understood that she was kinda into him when they were kids but i still felt that something was off. i wasn't expecting a lot about this drama because i'm not a big fan of childhood friends to lovers trope in dramas but it was okay.the good part from this drama was the dialogues, i loved them so much. specifically when moeum and seokryu confessed, they were so cute and made me so happy :(

im sorry for the person im gonna be
there's a lot of things that i wanna say about this drama because the more i watched it the more i started to force me to finished it and i couldn't. i watched half of the 14th ep and i decided to watch another thing 💀i'm not gonna talk abt the acting cuz idk abt those things but instead i'm gonna talk abt sol's character. she pissed me off so bad, she just did things that i didn't like and she was just doing it for stupid reasons. that time where she made the guy from her career eat the mouthwash just because she didn't want sunjae to see her??? and the fact that she wanted sunjae not to fall in love with her and okay, i kinda get it but why would you say that if you're gonna cry and start to date him suddenly?? doesn't make sense. sol needed to make up her mind SO BAD i bet she also didn't know what she was doing
i also didn't know when was the time that sol felt something for sunjae because in 2023, she told him she did but did she really? when was that actually? /gen like, i never noticed that (i think it was when sunjae asked her if she didn't feel anything towards him at any of those times she was in when they were at her house)
also, can we talk abt the crime subplot?? if there's something i hate on romcoms dramas is that mf crime subplot like, why?? if i wanted to watch a crime drama i would. and please don't try to excuse them with the "it's because she couldn't walk" okay i get it, but there's so many options for that, she could've just get in a car accident-
speaking of which, there were a lot of drama at some point because of the guy that abducted her, sunjae confessing and sol's mom at the hospital?? 🧍🏼♂️
even tho i gave it a 6.5 i won't say this was a bad drama. like, i actually enjoyed it and it gave me a good chuckle and, if it wasn't for sol's personality i would say sunjae and her had a good relationship, it was cute and all.
btw omg i loved sunjae's personality. he was so cute, he really liked sol and he was so down bad for her. i love when the male leads are a losers <3

every single one of the characters
even though i knew for a moment the drama was about the parents somehow i forgot and kinda started watching it because of minho ??? so i was still pretty sad they didn't come out that much AND I KNOW WHYlooking at my rate y'all would know that i'm gonna say bad things because it's not that i hated it BUT it wasn't my fav drama so far and i have A LOT to say about it
aeyeon and moojin: i didn't root for their relationship lmao it was good that they just decided to live separately but i dont think they should have got back💀 moojin was kinda like a d*ck, must because he called aeyeon a sl*t the first time he asked her for a second chance and she told him no. aeyeon... i think she was pretty okay but it looked like she didnt know how to be authoritarian and almost let mirae do everything about what aeyeon should do and wasnt the best mom. btw i kinda have a love-hate relationship with the moment she decided to kick out mirae because i understood the reason she did it but also made me feel like wtf was wrong with her but okay
mirae: i kinda hated her. even in the first moment. because i dont think there was a good reason to dislike (hate???) her father. yeah, he was a d*ck and listen, i did relate to her because of my daddy issues but the "reason" she had to dislike him wasnt that deep in my opinion. although i think it was quite stupid to not want her parents to get back ??? like,, why??? its none of her business, even if her father was an assh0le her mom was a mf grown adult- dont you think she was old enough to know what to do or not???💀
hyunjae: sigh. he stressed me out. A LOT. i think he was SO immature. their parents didnt let him start his own business and he wanted to run away??? how old are you?? one time, he told someone (i cant remember if it was mirae or aeyeon) that nobody asked him what was his opinion when their parents got divorced/separated... he was a mf child, and even if he was old enough, why would his parents even ask him his opinion??? you know nothing, and you dont have any right to give your opinion. yes, he is their child but it was something between his parents. again, as the youngest child, i relate to him but i understood the thing he couldnt at idk, 13??? at least they made him get a job🙄
taepyeong: the only good thing about this drama was minho <3 his character was so good and full of green flags, he really took care of mirae <3 and also, the relationship between him and mirae was so cute ngl even tho i just said sh*t about her :3
i think the 6 i gave to this drama was because i pretty much cried at some scenes, when mirae and moojin talked after mirae had hurt herself in the bicycle and when mirae and aeyeon talked after her mom kicked her out. its something i could rescue about it

the reality of things
go young was a uni student who only liked to party, to go out with his friends and kiss/have sex with guys. the way he started maturing/growing up throughout the drama was good, every relationship he had with his boyfriends, helped him out to be a better person, but i also think he kept having mess relationships.ngl, while reading some reviews, my mind kinda changed. go young was a person after all. during the relationships he had, i hated him for doing or not doing things that annoyed me, like the guy who had internalized homophobia, he had said and done a lot of things that i kept asking myself why tf he was still with him or gyuho. gyuho became especial to me that i didnt want him to break up with him, even though their relationship was "perfect", the monotony was there, the arguments they had even if it was over ridiculous things, i hated the fact that go young didnt understand the reason(s) why gyuho kept arriving late (he is a nurse, give him a break for gods sake) but he then understood.
i cried at the end. i was still sad about how they couldve meet each other but didnt, and the year go young didnt have any relationship was probably because he couldnt move on because of gyuho. he still missed him, and we can see that when he is back again at bangkok with the japanese man.
the things the drama shows its reality. thats how relationships works (and im talking about friendships and romantic rs). the end comes by go young spending time with his friends after he moves on, being single for a year now and learning about the things life has given him. thats how life works.
ps. i wanna say that i didnt like the buff friend he had especifically (and i saw no one talking about him) because he had this complex of regina george (kind of like the others too, but not as much as him)

whats with the ending?
i started to get so pissed off by gihoon because he was being kinda like a jerk, not wanting to push that guy at the bridge, or trying to kill daeho even tho /it was/ kinda his fault the fact that they caught them while trying to escape and that they killed his friend.also, i didnt want gihoon to survive/win again because itd be so boring (thank god he died but were they hinting he was still alive? ugh) but the baby winning? i dislike babies, and in shows/movies like this they pissed me off even more (i obv didnt want them to die dont get me wrong) but also maybe myeonggi couldve survived if they had pressed that mf button to start the round.
the first season of squid game was clearly the best one. and idk, if ive said this before, but i wasnt supposed to watch the 2nd season lmao because i hate when something gets popular, and i started to dislike it BUT i couldnt help myself when haneul and siwan got announced for the 2nd season😓 i just love them, theyre such a great actors and this show wasnt the exception

a REAL romcom
i really really enjoyed the story, the romance, the casting and the music. everything just fits so perfectly that i wanna give chef's kisses to the people who came up with this story and who made this drama possible 🤌🏼i watched this drama after the first season finished but i had to rewatch everything since i was having problems with understanding the plot of the second season lol anyways, i still loved it since the beginning
AND speaking of rewatching, i wanna say that, at first (the very first time i watched it), i didn't like go won's character cuz he seemed rude and mean idk but the more i watched it i started to love him so much and he's like my baby and i want to protect him from everything so i hope ya'll can see more than what he's showing. he's a good and caring person ♡♡
this drama had a good balance with comedy that made me laugh a lot (like that one part where go won and jang uk have the blue and red jade and they both think it was mudeok), cry a lot, also being annoyed at jin mu because i hated him so much but also loved mudeok and jang uk's relationship. they had an special way to confess to each other, to confess their feelings and i loved that :(

THE WHOLE SHOW
okay, i dont even know where to start... i cant remember why i decided to watch this show but i did and was fucking excited when i knew it would be on netflix idk if i binge watched it or what but i watched the whole show and i liked it so much, it became one of my favorite drama.ive actually rewatched once and a half, because i gotta be honest. i HATE everytime on dramas they do that thing of separating the main relationship because of their parents, specifically if one of them are rich (seongyeom in this case) and i hate it because they are supposedly soo in love but the second seongyeom's dad tell mijoo she shouldnt be near his son she ends everything with him??? and its kind of annoying
anyways, i think danah's character is kind of irritating too if i think of it because she was cruel with everyone around her and she thought she was always right??? like, i get if you dont like your step brother but i think her hate towards him was quite unnecessary
I LOVED SIWAN IN THIS DRAMA he was hilarious, making funny comments, making fun of his friends and even of mijoo and also his personality?? like, because we're kind of used to watch mmc that are full of themselves?? and stuff like that but seongyeom wasnt, because he had low steem and people are like that too!! and its okay, that made him look more real to me
on a side note i wanna praise the person who wrote the dialogue for this show because as a writer (or something like that) they are funny to me and also something that inspires me to write better and i think the characters were well made too?? idk much about this stuff but maybe danah's character was made to not having a redeem arc and maybe thats okay because in reality, not all people change

THE ENDING
i kinda like binge watched this show (in two days) and looked forward to it the second i knew. i think the story was interesting and make me anxious about what will happen bUt the ending was bittersweet, like, they didn't catch the ml and even when he said he will show up at the police station he didn't??? i think the kdrama directors aren't giving actual punishments to the villains (?) lately when they should but anyway. i do think it's a great show and i enjoyed it and maybe would rewatch it someday evenWas this review helpful to you?

its not what i expected
normally, i would actually enjoy this type of dramas, where we can see different stories through the character's work, empathize with the cases but they dont actually focus on them. i could understand some of them, like the kids case but i dont think they explained what happened with the surgeon ??i've watched a few like these but law in the city makes me feel like something's missing. i'm almost at the end of the 5th ep, and i like the friendship the main cast have, it's cute and a group of friends like them would be really good but there's some kind of mistery in their personal lives in each one of them, like one of them apparently was a nepobaby, heeji's parents are dead and was raised by her uncle and aunt, the other girl i forgot her name sorry is married and it's juhyeong friend and he got to work in a case where he had to see his ex which heeji KNEW i dont know if there was something i missed but, how did heeji know about her? yeah, they "know" each other for 10 years but i dont think he told her about his ex or if that even happened at that time, is there something i missed? i dont get it
and btw, i wanna add the fact that since ep 4, juhyeong is being quite nosy in heeji's and changwon's business and that was out of nowhere ??? who wrote this i wanna talk with them

jang juwon, heesoo's father
i got to know this drama because i saw people saying it was good so i wanted to give it a try. im not gonna lie, at first it was hard for me to get involved in the story, like i felt that everything that happened in the beginning wasnt that important to me. the guy who was k*lling people and looking out for their children was confusing to me. i know i needed to keep watching tho but i stopped doing it for a while before i decided to watch it again and it was when it started to get better. (as you can see, i enjoyed it way more so dont jump at me)i especially want to talk about juwon. i liked the backstories about bongseok and heesoo's parents but juwon's just got a place in my heart.
he was a gangster, he wasnt afraid of anything since he could heal and kind of didnt die. then, after his boss got something like a partnership with a guy because he wanted money and jungwon didnt want to. he was doing it for their men, not because he will get something out of it. at the end, he found out he got betrayed by his boss so he let him drown in the car they were. he got revenge from the guy also betrayed him.
later, he let people ran over him just to get money to keep living at a motel, where he ends up meeting his wife, jihee. at the street, he was looking for the motel if i remember correctly. he saw her and asked her for directions, she gave it to him but got lost and when they saw each other again, he was crying and their love story started.
it was so cute, the way he took care of her all the time and was such a gentleman :( it broke my heart when he got the news that his wife had passed away. he took care of heesoo the first days at the hospital, and then went to see jihee at the morgue. he literally got in the elevator and started sobbing uncontrollably even when he changed his clothes and i was also crying so hard.
i know he was a really good father, and also a really good husband and i just love him so so much. i dont know if people do it, but i hope he has a lot of attention, too.

watched this for the 3rd time
i watched this drama for the first time when i was 13, then when i was like 17 (?) and now i'm 22... i had good memories from it because i really liked the couple junghyung and bokjoo were back then. i havent finished it now, but i'm sure that i dont actually like junghyung's character, he's not bad, but he behaves like a child bothering bokjoo any time he can just because he likes her. he is 21 wtf i once read someone saying bokjoo was stupid but i dont actually think so??? idk did they say it because of the things she did just for junghyung's brother?? maybe its childish but he was someone bokjoo likes and love works like that (?)anyway, maybe its a good drama only if we change junhyung character lmao or his attitudes towards bokjoo–

whats with that ending?
first of all, i wouldnt say i didnt enjoy this drama. it was interesting, and kept getting me hooked during the episodes, curious by justitia and police trying to catch the serial killer but ngl i at first, stopped watching it for a few weeks after the first episode. having justitia to kill the murderers while the police wanted to catch them, made me feel a little bit weird (?) even tho i knew it was justitia' job lol (and the fact that police didnt know the person who was killing them)the romance wasnt bad nor good. it was okay, i wouldnt say it was unnecessary but neither necessary as some people here says. it wouldve worked any way.
i wanna talk about the ending because even tho i dont hate open endings, this was pretty open to me and i didnt like it at all, at least i wanted to see what was her choice. if she would take bael' place as his heir or lucifer' offer idk i wouldve like that.

that awful ending
i think i watched this drama while it was releasing each chapter i cant remember but i was kind of happy because i LOVE somin AND i had finished when the camellia blooms and kind of wanted to see the sml in a romcom and this felt right so i watched it enthusiastically.i cant exactly remember a lot of it, but i enjoyed it, it was a good drama. somin's characters always makes me laugh and the ml was cute and i think they had a good relationship overall, probably with a lot of clichés but i dont think i've complained.
except for that goddamn ending. it's not that i remember everything in detail but i do remember that everything happened so quickly probably after breaking up or something like that and then suddenly somin's character got a house and i'm not even sure if they did end up together and if they did,, when did that happen? i think it was a mess, it's probably the best way to describe it

"they shouldn't date" plot
they started saying they shouldn't date at like ep 3 or smth like this and it frustrated me bc they didn't say anything and tried to kept you without knowing the goddamn true until ep 9, almost 10i haven't actually finished the drama lmao i have one episode left but i do wanna say that i don't like when they say shit like "we can't be together", "it's wrong", "i love you, so i'm leaving you" and then go cry about breaking up with them ??? i know it's a drama but i think there's no need to do that?? idk, above all if they would act like it nothing happened getting back to eo💀
anyways, anything else about this drama was quite okay, i could say even the plot (the fact that she can read people's minds) and jonghyeop did a great job, he was so cute towards the fl <3
BUT I DO HAVE A COMPLAIN bc motomiya, at least until ep 9, never talked properly about knowing taeo knows and she just suddenly decided to break up with him. taeo only knew she knew because he asked her through his mind. they never talked about it and they have should

EVERYTHING GOES SO FAST
(i haven't finished it lmao and idk if something here counts as spoiler but just in case)- renqi almost literally fell in love at the first ep. like, i can enjoy the ml falling first even in the first episodes but not that soon
- they solve everything so fast. they knew who were spying on them in like 1 ep and we knew who renqi's therapist was really soon
- renqi stole shuangjiao' cup. that was creepy if you ask me, even if he had misophobia and he wanted to know if he was inmune to her it's kinda weird
