Just fun and entertaining - quite bunker at time
I liked a lot this zombie movie. It is not subtle at all in the message it tries to convey but I found it quite relevant in the current society. A job that transforms you in a zombie and that traps you despite of you wanting anything but that. I like the bucket list of the main character and the way he faced head on the situation. The cast did a good job carrying this rather unserious story. Maybe it could have been better for some of the emotional scenes. But well, difficult to do much more with all the craziness that was happening at the same time. It was clearly aiming at comedy rather than horror. I was never scared at any point. And I will always remember a particularly dumb action plot in the aquarium.
I would recommend this to people looking for a fun action movie. Was it absurd at a lot of time ? Yes. Did I raise my eyebrow more and more as the plot progressed ? Yes. Was it entertaining? Yes. It is much more a comedy than anything else, it has a cartoonish feel to it, so if you are looking for something scary and serious, this is definitely not the movie to watch.

Ridiculous in the best way
It's fun, it's silly but it also makes you care about its characters and the plot had very few holes or loose ends. It was well-paced and very enjoyable! I wish Tendo's relationship with his boss had been slightly better set up but even so the pay-off was satisfying. Akaso's performance was great as always. Definitely worth watching. Was this review helpful to you?

Zombieshark?!
Okay I had no idea what I was expecting when I watched this show. I came for Eiji Akaso and was hit with something crazier. The makeup in this movie is amazing! The zombies look insane and to be honest, I actually watched this movie in two parts. I felt sick looking at these zombies and had to resume it later. Maybe I just have a really weak stomach but their faces are awesome.
The visuals of this movie aswell as the makeup are great too. The colours are vibrant and they look so cool because they all contrast well with eachother. Even though I haven't watched the anime, from what I've seen, they match the animation well.
I wasn't expecting to see some naked zombies but we'll overlook that because I felt so bad for Akira when his office romance went straight out the window! However, with his other relationships, it was great to see them grow throughout the show. The same with Akira himself, he really developed and overcame the trauma of his failed football game. I mean, I was never expecting him to use that to fuel his fight against a zombie shark but it was great character development!
At the end of the movie, Akira was happy, I was happy and everyone was happy really. To be honest, you'd have never thought there was a zombie infection going around since it ended so positively!
I don't think I'll watch the anime but if you can pack this much into a movie and still make it incredible then what's the need to? Watch the movie Zom 100 right now!!

Light Hearted Zombie Movie
This movie is a fun watch not to be taken very seriously. It is a perfect movie for those who do not want to be scared as it is quite comedic. Some of the story becomes quite absurd at the end. However there are some good life lessons to take away. The main character is really relatable. He hates his job and his boss is awful which I'm sure many people can relate to. The apocalypse helps Tendou to free himself and find what he really enjoys in life.
I really love Akaso Eiji and he did an amazing job in this role portraying a happy go lucky guy that is on his way through self discovery.
I am rating this movie low because the behavior of the zombies were not as good as some other zombie movies I have seen and some plot points in the movie were really ridiculous. But as a comedic movie it was pretty good.
If you want a light hearted zombie movie that's not scary this is the one for you!

The part that a lot of people liked....I didn't?
I liked this movie because Akira keeps an upbeat attitude, even during an apocalypse. He looks toward the future with hope. I liked the bucket list and how it started with something as simple as 'clean my room.' Watching him chuck garbage out the window was amazing. We're not gonna ask how the hell they managed to go paragliding. I'll assume they passed a store with the surf board things on the way to the lake. The way Akira lit up with such innocent joy at the sight of the camper and loved it so much was wonderful. Like, all of his dreams were coming true.
I wasn't a huge fan of the flight attendants, but the end of the world makes people do things, okay? Whatever. And some of the choices that were made were dumb--like throwing away your best weapon and for some reason not wearing Kevlar anymore? Or the movie broke its own rules--why did the zombies in the store follow them outside if the fireworks were still going? Why were no zombies attracted to the motorcycle sounds but followed the speaker? But I can ignore that for the sake of a good time.
The run through the street to get to the love motel was a wonderful, epic shot. Shizuka's final fight with -sound- was also epically shot. The message about living your life to the fullest was great. Akira became a flipping Kamen Rider at the end. Like, what~
I hated the zombie shark. And I've seen several comments that said the shark was their favorite part. It was my least favorite bit used in the movie. The shark being a zombie 1) didn't make sense, as no other animals were shown to be zombies or even suggested that they COULD become zombies and 2) it fucking grew human legs from the people it had eaten. Since when did a zombie virus give creatures the ability to mass alter their biological structure?
Literally give me the whole movie but without the shark and I would've adored it. The shark dragged down the Story and Rewatch Value of the movie for me.

It decent
The movie isn't a complete disappointment. It does capture some of the magic that drew audiences to the anime in the first place. However, for those who have experienced the depth, character development, and emotional rollercoaster that the anime offers, the movie might fall short of expectations. If you're a die-hard fan of the series, it's worth checking out to see how the story translates to the big screen. But if you're looking for the full, rich experience that made the anime so beloved, your time might be better spent watching the animeWas this review helpful to you?

a fun movie for the weekend
Never did I imagine I’d get to see all in one movie until I started this one. I actually started the anime, but only a few episodes came out since it’s getting delayed every now and then. So, this movie was a fun watch and got me hooked up since the start. It’s starts on a serious note, then we quickly get into the story with the zombies. Well, despite all that entertainment, the story got messy and ridiculous around the end, but still a very good watch. Also, that sh**k scene got me screaming and laughing hahaha. It’s a 6.5/10 for me.
Check it out!

Estragou completamente a experiência.
