I had my eyes on this drama weeks before its official airing date and I didn't regret choosing it as the first title I should watch in 2024. I had a feeling I would get hooked on the first episode and I was right, this episode did not disappoint. It laid out the conflict in a way that's easy for me to follow and understand, especially because historical drama often overwhelms us with massive information and characters. Despite not remembering everyone's name, I know who is who and what are their roles in the story. I love how the King is firm with his preference and isn't scared to let everyone know he's only capable of loving and sleeping with men. I have a lot of expectations for this drama, so for the love of God, it better end with a satisfying ending. I can't wait to see how his cousin will take over the throne and hopefully, they get to mend their relationship. I love me some good brotherhood.
