The second male leads in each give off very similar vibes. They are both seemingly cold and distant, but in reality, are very much interested in the first male lead. There are a lot of comedic moments in each as well (Oh! My Assistant - mainly in the beginning).

In both stories, an assistant comes into the life of an adult novelist/artist and chanes their lives.
