A diferença?

My Love by My Side

SPOILER ALERT!

---

The break-up was so relatable. While in our case the reasons were different, breaking-up with your first love (we were first love to each other) is never easy. The person will always have a special place in your life, and that pain becomes a part of you.

Like them in this episode, we had to pour everything for that final goodbye, otherwise, we won't be able to continue with our lives. Yes, we know, because when we did that, it was 11 years after we broke up. We thought we poured out everything on the night of our break-up, however, it took 11 years for us to realize we did not. It was like the threads of fate kept on making sure our paths often cross, it only stopped after we did pour everything.

First loves are special. It is when we learn a lot of things about ourselves, the people around us, and the wild and crazy world. It's when we first experienced to give ourselves for someone. Our first to feel deep pain because of someone we hold dear. The first time we understand that there is indeed something that can stop our lives if they're no longer with us. First time we can not imagine tomorrow without our significant other.

A very good episode. Gread execution, scenes, and editing. I literally forgot the actors, especially IU, and only saw two people who loves each other but the universe is against them. Two people who had to make the most painful decision in their lives because they understood nothing good will come out if they stayed together.

20 out of 10 ✨

Heartbreaking and truthful

Watching the end of their relationship reminded me of "twenty-five twenty-one" and how, till this day, heedo and yijin's breakup never gave realistic to me cuz he woulda have fought for her maybe not at that moment but definitely before she got married. Yeong beom fought for geum myeong till the last scene knowing that they couldn't get back together despite all efforts. I cried so hard watching them cry. I seriously hate it when actors are so good and crying cuz now i look a mess. The storytelling of this episode, the build up to their breakup, the interactions between the families, seeing yeong beom's mom face the consequences of her selfish actions, and even park-casso subtly confess his feelings truly made this show become my favorite kdrama ever. Every character, every scene, each line delivered with such intention made for such a heart wrenching episode. Writer-nim I will be billing you my therapist fee after this.P.S the actors ATE DOWWWWWNNNNN!!!! IU knows how to deliver emotions so cleverly and naturally. I could see how badly Ae sun wanted her daughter to be happy even if that means putting her pride and doubt aside(Moon so ri they better cut you your check). Lee jun young played the conflicted, innocent, heartbroken love interest so well, him and iu both need to get all the awards, all the daesangs RIGHT NOW!
