Written by the same writer! The plot of Witches Game is like an inverted version of the plot of A Graceful Liar... Mother-daughter relationships and identity switches are a big theme in this drama too. The mother and daughter duo in both dramas work together to get revenge. Twists, turns, schemes, manipulation and (birth) secrets abound, this feels more like watching a game of chess than a makjang drama. There are morally gray FLs (Hyera and Jeongwon in AGL, and Yukyung in WG. Hyesoo is more of a typical FL but she's not a pushover so she's fun to watch)
They also both have relatively high budgets for makjang dramas as well. Both have better than usual cinematography. Oh and if you thought Jin Taeseok is evil, let me introduce you to Ma Hyundeok and Yoo Jiho.

The grandmother basically plays the same roles in both series, while both the series themselves are almost identical in terms of a 'revenge' series. The only difference being there is no 'time slip' and 'The Witch's Game' is a daytime melodrama with tons of episodes. Some people don't have the patience to watch that many episodes but if you like 'Perfect Marriage Revenge' and want to gobble more of that same feeling. Then 'The Witch's Game' will give you that vibe or dopamine rush to fulfill the spot.
