Male leads are both yankee, the music is similar, both have fluffy vibe makes you feel life is good.
While I was watching this japanese drama I was constantly reminded of SITR. Why? It is a noona romance. The woman (who behaves like a doormat) works in the office and is a victim of ordinary office harassment. Meeting a fake rebel, gives her the courage to fight back. There is even a mother looking unkindly on this relationship. This drama is less angsty and much sweeter than SITR but the korean drama has the best chemistry ever!
Both dramas explore relationships between emotionally wounded people with patience and depth. They focus on subtle healing through companionship rather than dramatic change. If you appreciated Call It Love’s restrained emotional tone and slow-burn connection, Jitenshaya-san no Takahashi-kun delivers a similarly tender, heartfelt experience—just with fewer tears and more quiet smiles.
