I actually laughed a lot - rare for me

Yeah, the amnesia bit is not believable, but this is a movie, right? The bottom line is the acting was awesome, the leads totally nailed it. Without their spot on acting this really could have gone off the rails. And, most of all, even though I watched this on a plane from Taipei to Osaka, I laughed a lot! And practically nothing makes me laugh these days, so the writers really did their job. I will have to get my wife to watch this (she was watching something else on the plane).

So, as far as the negative reviews, I guess those folks have even less of a sense of humor than I do :-). Just give it a try. I think most people will really enjoy it. Just relax, suspend belief, and prepare for a wild ride.

BTW, some people said it was predictable. But one aspect of this that got me laughing was some of the comedic bits took me completely by surprise. Like, what the heck? LOL!

watched it for Jung So Min at first, but in the end I loved everything about it

Love Reset is a delightful romcom that had me laughing from start to finish. The movie cleverly embraces cliché scenes and over-exaggerated acting, creating a humorous atmosphere. The comedic timing in the film is spot-on, and it effectively balances the dramatic and comedic elements in its storytelling. The film delves into their past relationship, exploring the reasons behind their decision to divorce and the challenges they face in rediscovering their love for each other. Themes of forgiveness, second chances, and the importance of communication in relationships are skillfully woven into the narrative. What I appreciated most about Love Reset is that it stays true to its genre, delivering a lighthearted and fun experience. While it touches on the complexities of marriage and the pursuit of second chances in love, it never loses its light and enjoyable tone.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed watching "Love Reset" and would give it an 8/10 rating. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a feel-good romcom that will leave you with a smile on your face.

rom com of the year and it's only feb

Haven't watched a rom-com this good in a long, long time. Every scene felt natural, not a single thing reminded me that this was a script these actors were reading off. Both the leads and the cast looked comfortable around each other. This was a joy to watch. I am a sucker for these kind of plotlines so I ate this story up and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend anyone and everyone to watch it.

acting- goooooooooooood
nsfw - in the kmovie industry its ok, no closeups just feelings which was extremely adorable and personally i loved
heart strings tugged: yes! but could have been a bit more but no reason to pull the rating down i guess because i worked with what i had.

This is really worth watching)

I've been bored and found this movie. I was laughing so hard when i watched it. Pure comedy. It has a good balance of cute, romantic and funny moments.
Actors have a good chemistry, and even though its a short movie, and not a long drama, the love and tension felt real. That's just what i needed, made my week.

Funny

It's was funny indeed, a little demetial, ironic, very well played.
Loved Kamg Ha Neul and Jung So min chemistry, they are both great actors and in comedy and in melodrama.
The story is over-the-top, exaggerated but the deep meaning was romantic And realistic, sometimes we remember only the worst part of our life and forget the good things we had and we did.
I would like to see a little bit more about their new life together but I can imagine about it.
I laughed a lot in some scenes 😂🤣😂🤣 🤣.

Frog-like laugh

Your husband / wife should not only make you happy, but also make you angry. Going together through laughing and yelling, through romance and fighting make for the best partnership and this movie shows it. This romantic comedy is fully with unique characters that provide many unexpected funny moments and it made me laugh a lot. The actors all did a great job, but i especially liked the absurd frog-like laughing from the male actor Kang Ha Neul. As with others movies of the same genre, the comedy serves to highlight the message of love that survives all the challenges. here it is presented through a reset of relationship which was used well for both the comedy and romance.

Note that there are post-ending gags, and an credits scene and also a post-credit scene. Everything in the movie is made for the enjoyment and i did have a fun Sunday night with it. Hope you will too!

Once is fine

Was kinda boring at the beginning. For me the rate doesn't make sense, yeah there's scenes they're funny, but it dont make the story better.

The way their relationship was presented to us didn't make me connect with them, but rather made me feel like they shouldn't have happened at all. Even when the couple had a little more intimacy and vulnerability I didn't feel it. And after all the problems faced in their relationship, there was not a moment when they sat down and really discussed how to improve. Like they had sex, some dates, went back to loving each other as if it would make everything work out. But if it didn't work before, why would it now?. I didn't really like how it ended either and a lot of my rating was because of the laughs I had in some scenes.

As for the acting, I think Somin did a good job. The ML one was acceptable too, but you can't ignore some crying scenes without tears lol and liked the role supports, thought they were an interesting addition, not all necessary although.

I would say it was worth the experience, but it's not a film I'm going to keep rewatching.

Such a hilarious movie

I honestly loved this one it made me giggle sm, HELP BECAUSE TELL ME WHY JEONGYEOL WAS HAVING A CHRISTMAS DINNER WITH NARA’S FAMILY ONLY TO GET CAUGHT DRYING UR DICK WITH A BLOOD HARIDRYER LIKE STOPPP AND IMAGINE COMING BACK FROM AN AWARDS CEREMONY AND BEING DRUNK AND FINDING UR BOYFRIEND STUDYING AND YOU KISS UR BF ONLY FOR HIM TO REPLY WITH “ur mouth stinks like ASS” AND HE PUSHES U TO THE GROUND LIKE HELPPP IM DEADD. the only reason this isn’t a ten is because I feel like they got too intimate WAY too fast like broski u forgot ur memories and now ur getting all close up with a guy (jeongyeol) u barely know like IK he’s supposed to be ur husband BUT u guys were going through a divorce, no matter how kind he may seem and I just hoped nara could’ve gotten her memories before the movie ended. This movie deserved to be a short KDRAMA instead since it was WAY too short but I loved it overall. Cutesy movie, don’t know why it’s so lowly rated.

Obsessing over romcom marriage

Bro I don’t know WHY but I’m so obsessed with MARRIAGE tropes, especially when they fall in love again..... like—married enemies-to-lovers but with AMNESIA??? I’m obsessed. OBSESSED. Every awkward moment, every rediscovered spark, every little softness between them—it hit so hard. Dating arcs are cute, sure, but this? This is commitment, chaos, regret, healing, and romance all at once.

I don’t want butterflies—I want two emotionally burnt-out people falling in love again despite EVERYTHING. And this film DELIVERS.

romCOMEDY

if this was a comedy movie without the rom, i will gladly accept it as a masterpiece because it was funny as helll. but thenn the plot was meh, there were no characters development whatsoever, and i still don't understand why in the world they fell in love again. what were the moments that outweighed the bad memories? like...they showed how they met and how they date. that's it? mere physical attractions and 'love at first sight' thing are not big enough for me to outweigh the fact that they were NOT COMPATIBLE at ALL as a married couple.

plus, the fl character was sooo not it. i was sooo annoyed at how crazy she was. like all the bad or gross things that the ml did was reasonable (except for the cheating part ofc) and it was nothing compared to what the fl did. her personality boils me. and the ml's mother was also annoying as helll.

but the good part is the acting were phenomenal. kang haneul, jung so min and everyone in it really outdid themselves. i just didn't like how the characters were written. i liked how cool were the fl's mother in this, and how loving she was towards her daughters. i could feel her unconditional love as a mother. i also liked the bromance between ml and his friends. i found it very cute and funny haha. liked the comedy, i laughed way too hard watching this. and the cinematography experience were satisfying too. i like how the comedic editing works, the transition and the comedic pans. chef's kiss, kudos to the director. i would say this film is a very well directed comedy piece.

last but not least, i think this movie will be better if they divorced at the end. comically.

Completely missed the mark in terms of romance & chemistry - disappointing

Unfortunately, I did not adhere at all to the romantic aspects of this rom-com...There was so comedic moments that I enjoyed but also a lot that felt flat to me and after the chaotic introduction to the main characters, I never went on board with any kind of romantic feelings they had for each other.

I blame mostly the story itself rather than the cast as I like a lot Kang Ha Neul and even more Jung So Min...On paper, this pairing looked so good but in reality, their chemistry was very average mainly because of the set up of their characters themselves...In any case, that suck that I was unable to enjoy any of their skinship as I was truly confuse at why those two characters would ever fall back in love...It was really unconvincing.

It is also disappointing how unlikeable most of the side characters were... The only exception were the mother and sister of the female lead (respectively played by Jo Min Su and Hwang Se In) who were both the most enjoyable part of the movie with a great comedic timing.

I would not recommend this rom-com unless you are a fan of one of the cast members. I feel that really the romance was completely lacking with an ending that felt like a cope out. There were some fun scenes that I enjoyed but some comedic aspects felt also strange in the context of the story.
