Star crossed lovers

Qin and Shen decide to be an official couple for as long as their jobs allow. Qin meets her client on site to have autopsy prove how the father died. Unfortunately two employees were chatting about their findings walking down the hall. This was rather unprofessional and totally spooked the client. She now will have nothing to do with cutting up her dad for a house. Qin has one last argument introduced at end of episode. The money for insurance was dad’s not the greedy brothers. Qin shared the couple news with her roomie and Shen did with his mom. They are celebrating because Qin has just been interviewed by a big law firm. They think there will be a nice dating period til the time bomb of high court happens. They have not finished ordering when his friend calls to tell Shen his application was accepted. Roomie is gob smacked along with them because the fun dinner welcoming him into their group has now become a wake where the groups cannot combine. The happy son that left, returned very subdued to fix Gpa’s computer. His mom was all bubbly about meeting her and he had to say they already broke up. His parting quip was btw I’ve been accepted in high court. It’s annoying that these two were forced together, almost got to date, and then their union blocked before a single date completed. I am also grieved with Shu. Their family does need more income, but things are still in flux with Fei’s PTSD and she’s forcing an interview her husband didn’t want. I think he should have been allowed time to acclimate that his name was cleared of wrongdoing before feeling compelled to jump back into legal matters like nothing had happened. After waiting days for this episode … 😝 🙄😝
