Episode Title: Fang Fei Gambles with Her Life to Get Treatment from Situ
Duke Su’s father died suspiciously in battle and his mother soon follows in death. He vows to find out the cause of his father’s death. Fang Fei convinces her father that she must continue the bet with the Li brothers so as not to bring shame to the Jiang family. She practices the qin, but an old wrist injury resurfaces which hampers her performance. She goes to Duke Su for a potential cure for her injury before the school team competition begins. Meanwhile her team is busy practicing their specialties.

The Double Episode 9 Reactions
*This is my first episode review of this wuxia so far. I went into this drama blind without reading or watching trailers or reviews.*In Ep.9 we begin to see where the threads of fate have been woven for our leads and some of the major players hidden in the shadows. Some of our questions are having the answers hinted at as the bigger picture unfolds. We see small glimpses into the history of the stoic Duke Su, who seems to have a deep appreciation for the art of deception. Which is why I believe he is so fond of plays and of the theater.I am looking forward to the rest of this drama.

Ai, sério, eu tô surtando! Que episódio foi esse? Melhor episódio até agora, sem dúvidas. Eu nem sei por onde começar! Enfim, tivemos a história do Duque Su — deu pra ver um pouco da infância dele, dos pais e da trajetória dele. Gostei muito de ver esse lado mais pessoal. Também foi ótimo ver as pessoas que convivem com ele. Além daqueles dois guardas, o Wen Ji e o Lu Ji, que estão sempre por perto, ele tem outras pessoas próximas que o conhecem e o ajudam. Dá pra ver que ele é uma pessoa bem influente.E, meu Deus, quantos momentos dos protagonistas juntos! Eu tive que pausar várias vezes, porque não dava — eu só tirava foto! Sério, os dois juntos me deram um frio na barriga. Eu comecei a ter surtinhos de tanto amor! Eles são muito fofos juntos, têm uma química incrível. Aquela tensão contida entre eles… ai, é tudo tão bom!Já deu pra ver claramente que ele gosta dela, e eu amo como tudo é mostrado de forma sutil, sem pressa. É tudo tão delicado! Eu tô completamente apaixonada por esse casal e pela série. Esse episódio foi maravilhoso. Ele ainda ajudou a curá-la, e dá pra sentir o quanto ele se preocupa com ela, repara em cada detalhe. Eu amo isso demais!A cinematografia tá linda, a direção e o roteiro estão ótimos. A trilha sonora também — sério, tudo perfeito. Eu tô amando cada segundo!
