Duke Su’s father died suspiciously in battle and his mother soon follows in death. He vows to find out the cause of his father’s death. Fang Fei convinces her father that she must continue the bet with the Li brothers so as not to bring shame to the Jiang family. She practices the qin, but an old wrist injury resurfaces which hampers her performance. She goes to Duke Su for a potential cure for her injury before the school team competition begins. The Plot Thickens

*This is my first episode review of this wuxia so far. I went into this drama blind without reading or watching trailers or reviews.*In Ep.9 we begin to see where the threads of fate have been woven for our leads and some of the major players hidden in the shadows. Some of our questions are having the answers hinted at as the bigger picture unfolds. We see small glimpses into the history of the stoic Duke Su, who seems to have a deep appreciation for the art of deception. Which is why I believe he is so fond of plays and of the theater.I am looking forward to the rest of this drama.
