The Double

Both FLs escape death after betrayal and assume the identity of the abandoned dead daughter of a wealthy household in order to get revenge for both her and themselves. Both MLs are mysterious figures.

Both are dark revenge dramas with determined FLs from lower-class backgrounds who are forced to fight against powerful figures. Both show the struggles that women face and have very close relationships between the main female characters.

Uma história ainda mais elaborada sobre vingança, superação e recomeços. Apesar do plot aqui ser diferente, já que não há viagem no tempo, temos também uma pessoa em especial que fornece apoio para a FL realizar seus objetivos.

The ML in TD is my fav or all time and the ML in ASM is one of the only MLs that give the same vibes. Both are morally grey with a heart of gold, green flags pretending to be red at first but love the FL so much.

Plot is somewhat similar where FL takes the identity of someone who looks like her and powerful is by her side both set on revenge and justice

Pursuit of Jade has a character with a fan and The Double also has a character with a fan. That makes them exactly the same.

Rebirth theme where the FL came back fighting to save the lives of her family members. A good short drama which is an underrated drama.

A hit drama that centers on a second chance at life and features an incredibly smart, strategic female lead. It has high tension and deep political maneuvering.

Both FLs are betrayed by their husbands and buried alive. Both MLs have unknown motives at first and carry a fan. Both plots involve the FL (or the person she's posing as) being framed for a miscarriage.

• The Ultimate Betrayal by the Husband: Both Female Leads (FL) start their stories by being deeply betrayed and discarded by their husbands for another woman, leading to the destruction of their initial marriages.

• The "White Lotus" Rival: Both stories feature a highly manipulative, deceptive female antagonist (similar to Rashta) who acts innocent to gain sympathy while actively plotting to ruin the FL's life.

• A Superior and Powerful New Male Lead: After the betrayal, both FLs cross paths with a much more powerful, protective, and fiercely loyal new man (Heinrey / Xiao Heng) who completely cherishes them and aids them in their journey.

• Satisfying "Shuang" (Revenge) Plot: Both narratives deliver an incredibly satisfying revenge arc and a massive comeback. Viewers get to watch the toxic ex-husband and his mistress face a gradual, well-deserved downfall.

• High-Stakes Political Warfare: Neither story is just a simple romance; they both heavily involve intense palace politics, strategic mind games, and reclaiming power and status in high society.

• A Dignified and Smart Female Lead: Both Navier and Xue Fangfei are elegant, resilient, and highly intelligent characters who refuse to act like helpless victims, using their wits to outsmart their enemies instead.

FL was also reborn for revenge. It also has a dramatic style. But it has much better story, acting, music, everything.

- Both real ahgassi save the FL's life.

Xue Fang Fei, the daughter of a wealthy magistrate, loses everything after a major upheaval. She’s saved by Jiang Li, the daughter of the Secretariat Director, and takes on Jiang Li’s identity to return to the capital. With help from Duke Xiao Heng and others, she faces numerous challenges, fights injustice, clears her father's name from wrongful imprisonment, aids Xiao Heng in seeking justice, and protects the people.

I'm surprised that no one recommends The Double for Zang Hai. If you're curious on why I recommend this, here's why:
-both have smart leads (ML in Zang Hai and FL in The Double, well to be fair, their counterparts are also smart)
-their counterparts help them out whenever they need help
-good chemistry between the leads for both dramas
-most importantly, both focus on revenge (if you think they'll go soft when there's a romance tag, let me tell you: you're wrong!!!)
