My Journey to You

With every episode, "My Journey to You" reminds me of Joy of Life because of the mind games between the characters. Both are also of wuxia genre (non-traditional) but have wonderful plot lines. Albeit, Joy of Life has attempted assassinations on male lead while the main lead in My Journey To You is the assassinator. Both are amazing dramas to watch and keep your brain eager for the next clue and episodes.

The two drama are directed by the same director. Although the stories of two dramas are different but the cinematography, costumes, visual are all beautiful and rather similar. The cast from the main leads to support roles of two dramas are all great and act well.

The series tells the story of Yun Wei Shan, a spy longing for freedom, who infiltrates the Gong residence to complete a mission. In the eerie and treacherous Gong residence, she encounters love and friendship, embarks on a journey of self-discovery, and finds the determination to move forward. Together with the rebellious nobleman Gong Zi Yu, they grow and mature through their shared experiences.

Comparable vibes.
Both are "spy novel" dramas where secrecy is key.
Secret organizations, check.
Brainwashed organization members, check.
FL leads are great fighters, check.

While a "League of Nobleman" isn't a spy drama, it is a mystery drama. It also has a dark theme, good aesthetics and cinematography. It has some palace intrigue. It's a "Smart" drama like "My Journey to you". No romance though, story is bromance/friendship based. The ending wraps up pretty good.

This drama has thecapability of finding your inner potential of an analyst in you. After you complete this drama, you would be capable enough to award yourself as a self certified detective!
I would highly suggest you to watch it, because it has been categorised as one of the best dramas of 2023 by the audience themselves! So you surely wouldn't wanna miss this MASTERPIECE !!

This drama has a lot of twists and turns too and good acting. Both dramas have great fighting scenes. Love is present but never takes over the plot. The ups and downs of brotherhood is central to the story.
