happy ending + must watch
for those who are wondering its happy ending**spoilers**
firstly, i know male lead was being toxic in the middle i think 7th episode but he made up for it, he was with her til the end and was INLOVE with her.. in a way, his toxicity does make sense(?) since the whole drama was all about mentality basically so it does kind of make sense. secondly the female leads acting is a carry for the drama but the male lead doesn't lack in any way, he can portray the lethal boyfriend really well!! thirdly, the couples have AMAZING chemistry so its a definite watch

A Really Good C-Drama Here!!
I love every episode on this one. Some episodes makes me feel nervous, some are full of butterflies/flattery, but the plot is what i'm invested in here. If you like solving problems then join in on their investigation (that's what i did). I really wish i can watch it again for the first time. What a beautiful drama
It’s a very beautiful drama everyone must watch it ,the direction ,the music ,acting ,plot everything was so superb. Lin Yi and Liu Haochun just acted so naturally and beautifully .The drama starts very beautifully with concept of time travel and then we come to know no thats nit it it was memory replacing thing and they were just dreaming .Though I would have preferred enter time travel plot over dream as I have seen similar thing in another drama ‘Legally Romance’ . But the drama was made really good with its turn and twists .Though the drama could have explore more on Xu Jinyang death plot but it didn’t .It was only thing I think can be done more . Nevertheless all the casts and leads did potray their characters perfectly .I would love to see them paired again in future.And at last drama did give meaning to the title of this drama ‘Derailment’ . My winter comfort drama from now on
I had my eyes on it ever since I saw the Reuters photos but I can’t help but felt skeptical about it being just another typical idol drama…I’m glad I was proven wrong cause Derailment turned out to be such a breath of fresh air.I love absolutely everything about it. The cinematography, narrative, soundtrack and the chemistry are all on point. This is my first time watch both Linyi and Liu Haocun and I absolutely enjoyed this collaboration, hope to see more of them in future dramas.
Highly recommended.

On of the best cdramas of the year! 2023
I watched this drama when it aired a few months ago and was really fond with the acting and storyline as I love stuff to do with time-travel and parallel worlds. The story was getting good but suddenly got confusing throughout the following episodes which really tested me. I think the ML was a bit too abusive towards the FL it made me hate him and it was like he had no facial expression like a robot In some episodes. However, It was worth a watch, something original and fresh is something rare to see. The ML looks like one of those good-looking guys from a mabga both leads are food looking.I am currently watching this for the second time lol, really recommend this drama!

You will not get bored . Must Watch Drama
I started this with very low expectations and also bcz of lin yi , From ep 1 I got really hooked up and the plot twist after every few ep getting me so hard that I was going crazy ( I m really glad that I watched after it completed) .Spoiler Alert
The only unsatisfactory left is the ending i thought they will get married after time skip guess it was my imagination , but the ending was pretty the snowy theme suit well.
Jiang bo deserve a partner. The story was too much focused on FL and Ml , this drama deserves some more ep .
Most ep Part ( I m still confused in this part do correct me ) does High school fl like ml or not .

The plot and storyline are incredibly engaging, and they’re what created the whole atmosphere. We experience everything from beginning to end together with the characters. Just like them, we’re manipulated into thinking we know the truth—when in reality, we don’t—and we slowly uncover it along the way.
However, this is not a typical romance. In my opinion, romance played more of a supporting role here, while the main focus was on the storyline itself. As a romance lover, I didn’t mind it at all, so I wouldn’t discourage anyone because of that. The relationship between the main characters, though complicated, was beautiful. It wasn’t about the physical aspect but the emotional one. True, Qi Lian could be terrible to her at the very beginning while “caring” for “his” Jiang Xiao Yuan (it’s a pity this was brushed under the rug), but we gradually saw him change, and his care for “his” Jiang Xiao Yuan turned into genuine care for Jiang Xiao Yuan.
The character development was also very interesting—especially for Jiang Xiao Yuan. By “moving to another time,” she slowly discovered herself, her dreams, and her passions. She came to understand the meaning of true friendship, love, and what really matters in life. Not wealth or the things she once longed for, but the things she was learning and experiencing along the way. Here, the lead actress deserves huge recognition, as she portrayed all the emotions her character went through remarkably well.

What I love about the drama is the fact that I too was deceived like the FL. I wasn't able to predict that I got carried into what she believed to be the reality. When it got into the episode where it was revealed, I was shocked myself!And yes of course, Liu Hao Cun's and Lin Yi's acting are top notch! It's a great drama. And sweet. And badass!

When they write in the comments, why is so much time devoted to the beauty topic? The author has nothing he doesn't need. Direct quotes from the drama: "God helps those who help themselves", "If you want something, you have to make yourself worthy of it ..." First, we are shown how the heroine and her boyfriend "pecked" for easy money, which can be obtained simply by testing a toy, and got a fatal result... And then the heroine with her own hard work, sweat and blood (and we are shown this sweat, dirt and blood, setups and rivalry) I earned a place in the sun by studying and improving first in the profession of a stylist, then a make-up artist. That's what all this salon entourage is for. In addition, Priest skillfully connected two story arcs, heroines and "villains" through the son of a makeup artist. Otherwise, everything would have hung in the air.
And portals and time travel, there are a lot of dramas around with this topic, it's good that Priest abandoned them and moved on to the usual everyday problems of family and society and managed to do it very interestingly.
The drama, of course, is based on the exceptional play of Liu Hao Cun. The boys are Lin Yi (the eternal rescuer of the girl), and Huang Sheng Chi (an unhappy makeup artist, but good), Wan Yan Luo Rong (a former traitor), Wang Cha Сha (the charming head of the salon and the stylist squad)... - just a pick-up from the actress.
I will not review this, because I have not watched any drama a second time, too many new and interesting things are coming out, there is no time for repetitions.

Lin yi and Liu haocun chemistry in this drama just mind blowing...Qi Lian is such a gentle, caring and sweet boyfriend...
I just hope both of them will come back with season 2 or another drama, with more interesting story.. Obviously the main cast Lin yi 💕 Liu haocun 💕

Off the Rails Before the Story Could Gain Traction
Nice science fiction setup about parallel universes. The wealthy FL is transported to the past after following the advice of an acquaintance who assures her if she arrives at a specific location at a specific time she’ll find her missing friend. Speeding to that location in an effort to meet the deadline she ends of careening off a bridge into the water and traveling to an alternate universe that ends up being the year 2018.Sounds exciting right? Yes! Unfortunately this is where the excitement ends. The FL struggles to understand what is going on and immediately discovers the life she previously had doesn’t exist in this version of 2018. She gets some help from a stranger who gives her shelter for the night then she meets the ML who proceeds to help her while also stalking her. The first four episodes is literally her finding a job and the ML following her around town because of course she’s some woman, likely a love interest from his past, whom he must look out for. There is nothing more about the sci-fi of the story. If a viewer didn’t know any better this would be another boring romance drama.
Such a shame because I like the actors in this and the premise has promise, but the show seemed to have abandoned that premise for the mundane day to day life of the FL and her inevitable romance with the ML.
