As Long As The World Exist, We Exist

My dream pair of CP that I don't know I need it till I watched this drama. And now I'm writing review after watched almost all of their short video promotion.

Story,
They served! Even though they present usual plot how people cultivate, start from a mere human till got ascend as god, how the story go is really engaging. This drama is the definition of smart placement for the aspects such as comedy, happy, angst, and even the annoying part is really good.
But it doesn't mean that this drama is flawless, there are some sequence that made me a little bored. But it acceptable and not unbearable enough for me to skip the drama. Thanks to the crew for making this wonderful and beautiful drama for us.

Cast and Acting,
This is the only drama that I didn't find any miss for the cast and their acting skill. They are all perfect! Even the antagonist like Zhen Yu, Moli, Fu Ling, Luan Zhu, and others are engaging for me. All of the cast are super good! I don't even remember when did I find such an perfect cast before.
For Bai Lu, I don't even have a word for her. Her skill as an actress are one the top 3 of the best actress for me. I can't see her as Bai Lu when I watched this. She even slay the 3 character, Xing Yue, Bai Shuo, and Bai Shuo that possessed by Luan Zhu.
Then Ao Rui Peng OMG YOU ARE THE DEFINITION OF BEAUTY T,T!! I don't expect the clumsy, cute, and brave Lei Wu Jie can appear as cold-yet-warm hearted and powerful as Fan Yue, aloof and sweet as A Yuan, and even the mighty and untouchable Jing Yuan so perfectly. I even change my favorite color from blue to purple because of him.
Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng are the pairing that really resonate my favorite couple. This is preference but this pairing is my top 3 favorite couple that I wish I can watched their reunion in other drama.
Dai Lu Wa and Chang Hua Sen are slaying both as Fu Ling and Chong Zhao or Bai Xi and Mo Li. I'm calling for production team out there, please cast them as main lead, they got the chemistry!!
The other character are amazing too, Tian Huo, Cang Shan, Chen Ye, Mu Jiu, A Wu, A Qi, Bai Xun, and the other, this drama can't be this good if their execution are bad.
I thank you all of the acting and casting department for bring such an amazing actor and actress for each character. You really worked hard *bow.

Music,
If there are Sa Ding Ding and Zhou Shen sing for your drama then your drama will be masterpiece! I even find other good songs for my playlist. But actually all of the ost are already on my playlist.

Rewatch value,
Oh please, I even already planing to rewatch this marathon on weekend. Of course I will give it 10/10 for rewatch value.

Overall I can say that I'm grateful to start my 2025 with such an amazing drama called Moonlight Mystique. I will waiting for another masterpiece from Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng!

This is so magical!

I really love the casting, the flow of the story, and the OST. The music works well with the story setting and state. The editing is not even cringey. I like how to actors play with their emotions and how they potray their character. Another thing, the weapons and their actions are WELL DONE! Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng's visuals were PERFECT! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE STORY 💙

"May I be like the stars, and you, like the moon.”

Never wrote a review on this site before, but this drama made me do it haha.

First of all, I've been a Bailu stan since OFL in 2023 and ever since, this is my 1st ongoing Bailu drama, so I've been pretty hyped up since the beginning. However, even if I were not a Bailu stan, I'd still give the same ratings because this drama is just that good

*﹆𖤐𓂃• Plot/Story -
I actually love the plot so much. It starts with Bai Shuo, who wants to become an eternal to repay a divine being who saved her when she was a kid. She then meets Fan Yue, the demon king of the Bright Moon Palace who is in possession of the 60000 year old contemplation stone. The stone goes inside Baishuo's body and it is the start of Bai Shuo and Fan Yue's journey of finding the 5 contemplations to activate the stone - kindness, kill, love, hate and greed. Every contemplation arc had a well written story. I loved how they gave so well written plots even to the minor characters, everyone stood out. My favorite one might be the fox clan's story, they had me in tears from the start till the end. Jing Yuan and Xing Yue's story was also so beautiful and tragic. They deserved to live happily ever after, if only it wasn't for rules of the heaven.

*﹆𖤐𓂃• Bai Shuo and Fan Yue, our leads -
Chemistry on top>>>
Don't you just love seeing a couple in a xianxia drama who actually know how to communicate and avoid misunderstandings that last hundreds of days or hundreds of years? Bai Shuo and Fan Yue's relationship might be one of my all-time fav in any historical dramas. They had such a strong bond that build up with each episode and turned into something stronger and stronger.

Bai Shuo is one of the BEST female characters in xianxia dramas. She is extremely smart, that's what sets her apart. Over the episodes, we've seen an immense growth and development in her character. Bailu nailed as always. She never fails to deliver, her choice of dramas are always good and she always gives so much life to her characters.
Fan Yue, oh Fan Yue, I just love Ao Ruipeng as FY so much. This was my introduction to Ao Ruipeng, and trust me, I'll be staying!! He gave so much justice to this character. His portrayal of Fan Yue/Mumu/Jing Yuan.....he really made it seem like all of these characters were different. I'm just so glad FY came back in the end because if he did not, I was really going to sue the writers for all the emotional damage🙂‍↔️
Also, let's talk about the kisses🤭 We were so well fed with all those kiss scenes.

*﹆𖤐𓂃• Fuling and Chong Zhao, our 2nd couple -
A couple that were doomed from the start. We could all tell from the beginning they were never gonna get a happy ending :( An eternal who hates demons, and a demon who is evil, I really couldn't picture them falling in love because of their early interactions. Enemy to lovers done right. CZ actually had already started caring about her and falling for her even before he found out she was BX, so that's enough for me haha. They both had such a sad life, they both were used, and in the end, they both had to sacrifice themselves. I shed so much tears when it was revealed that Bai Xi was actually the divine bow, like wdym her life was already doomed from her birth, she was meant to be sacrificed😭 same with CZ, with him being the vessel for hidden lord, he was doomed to be killed/sacrificed. I really need to see them in a modern drama as the leads, let me pretend it's their 'another life where they live as an ordinary couple who has 2-3 kids' 😭

*﹆𖤐𓂃• Cinematography and OST that is top tier -
First of all, the cinematography is tooooooo good. My eyes were blessed with all those beautiful scenarios. And the OSTs, this will go down in history as one of the cdramas with the BEST OSTs of all time. I loved every single OST, my favorite being the ending theme by Zhou Shen.

*﹆𖤐𓂃• Ending -
With all the sacrifices, by the final episode, I had already given up tbh. At first, I was like, 'were all these sacrifices even necessary?' But then, without their sacrifices, it would have been impossible to win over Moli. I am just glad they brought FY back, that's enough for me now😭 Idk if I'd call it a happy ending or a sad ending tho, but I'm just glad BS and FY had a happy ending.

*﹆𖤐𓂃• Final Review -
I'd say this was such a great start to 2025 dramas. I'm glad I started my 2025 with this drama, it was honestly a rollercoaster ride of emotions. But most of all, I enjoyed watching this a lot. It had everything I wanted in a drama. A solid rewatch material, with a solid plot and a solid cast, best osts and best cinematography and good acting from everyone. I'd highly recommend this drama to anyone. I'm sad it's over, but I'll always come back to this drama. Goodbye Bai Yue Fan Xing 👋
A 10/10 for me.

WTH DID I JUST WATCH? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Ran Out of Tissues Drama 💝💝💝

From Ep. 1 to 40 ... OUTSTANDING... EXQUISITE & SO MUCH MORE
Just to start:
*Vibrant background scenes & Costumes Designs Outdo other costumes dramas I watched*
*Magnetic Different Character Storylines
*The simple touches of comedy that blends in.
*Subtle hints of teachings of life through wisdom, such as:
#1 Don't be Obsessed #2 Don't Torment Yourself #3 Don't Force Things #4 Don't be Pretentious 🔥 Live Your Life Well!

Each different Character Storyline who was connected to our Main Leads, deserves 10 Stars.
The Fox & Kunlun Story
Loss Memory of Fan Yue
Mu Jiu Fox Story (tissues ran out.. had to get another box) I want one of the toy foxes 🦊
Understanding the back story of the Stone Clan & Qi Feng (brother of Fan Yue)
There is more that brings the feelings for each character that is represented in this drama!

Although there is so much to watch about each character, it all connected to Bai Shuo's journey to become Lunar Lord Xing.
There are many dramas that the storyline doesn't seem to connect & I get lost.... but this drama made each episode interesting & eye catching.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of actress Bai Lu....... I don't know why & that's the most irritating feeling for me. HOWEVER, she was a force in this drama with her character & she definitely pulled me in this drama whole heartily. Whereas in *Till the End of the Moon* .. I ended up dropping it halfway because I couldn't connect to not one of the characters or the storyline.
The Leading Male Actor Ao Rui Peng (OMG... he had 🔥 & allowed me to appreciate someone I wasn't quite familiar with)
All the rest of the cast... I have to say deserve so much recognition... they did amazing.

Of Course... give credit where credit is due: Original Creator: Xing Ling, Screen Writer: Yan Mo Yi, Directors: Chu Yui Bun. & Gu Zhi Wei - BRAVO!!! 👏🌹
BUT... I have to give a Standing Ovation to TWO incredible people that I personally felt made this drama FIRE!
#1: Costume Designer: Yi Xiao Ya 👏🌹
#2: Art Director: Liu Shi Yun 👏🌹

This was and will be a POWERFUL Drama that I will definitely go back and watch again and again. 🔥

Moonlight Mystique is a GEM

This drama is unique and very enjoyable to watch. It is not everyday we get this UNIQUE type of story.

I love everything. The opening episode is memorable and there are no boring episode. I keep wanting more. I enjoyed every episode and 40 episode doesn't feel enough.

The CHEMISTRY between the main leads is what stand out for me in this drama. Queen Bai Lu never disappoint her acting always moves me and make me cry. Ao Rui Peng! I fell for his acting, now I become a fan. He is so handsome as demon king Fan Yue. I love the beautiful story of romance between Fan Yue and Bai Shuo plus Xing Yue and Jing Yuan.

The ACTING they deliver. The PLOT they deliver. Every emotion I connected well. I will never forget this drama. This is worth everything. ONE of the best and most OUTSTANDING xianxia drama. All support characters backstory were touching too. The deaths weren't in vain but justifiable.

Moonlight Mystique: An Ethereal Masterpiece

Another month, another platform war.

January is yet another month dedicated to the inevitable war between the four major platforms in China, with Tencent banking on Guardians of the Dafeng, iQIYI coming back from the brink through the aid of Moonlight Mystique, Youku maintaining stable position with The Blossoming Love (also a xianxia), and MangoTV doing decently with Flourished Peony.

After much consideration, I decide to pick Moonlight Mystique since I can't binge all shows in one go (badly want to have a look at The Blossoming Love, though). FYI, I've been craving for a xianxia masterpiece since the breakout of Fangs of Fortune back in November. Let's see my thoughts about Moonlight Mystique below. Enjoy the ride...

So, Moonlight Mystique's plot revolves around an ordinary mortal girl named Bai Shuo, who accidentally absorbed a divine artefact under the moniker of Desireless Stone aka Contemplation Stone. Aside from that accident, she also must ally with the cunning master of Haoyue Palace, Fan Yue. Thus, they embarked on an adventure (alongside Fan Yue's two guardians - Cang Shan and Tian Huo) to gather the five contemplations - love, hate, kill, greed, and kindness. However, their journey was far from smooth as obstacles and threats kept coming on their way, especially from Lengquan Palace (Haoyue Palace's nemesis).

To be precise, the plot comprises of 6 different arcs which interconnect with each other in order to build a coherent story. Below, I'll explain the 6 arcs briefly (this is MAJOR spoiler, so you can skip it if you want to)...

1) Ning'an City "Rebellion with Poison" - Kindness
Ten years ago, Bai Shuo and Bai Xi were saved by an immortal, whose identity was unknown. To repay the immortal's kindness, Bai Shuo became obsessed with immortality since then (by the way, Bai Shuo was betrothed to Chong Zhao since their childhood years). Under Temple Master Sun's guidance, Bai Shuo went to the Unbridled Pavilion and encountered Fan Yue for the first time. Initially, they were distrustful of each other and used each other to gain what they wanted. However, things started to become chaotic after Bai Shuo absorbed Contemplation Stone, which was stolen from Lanling Sect by Fan Yue. Worse, Bai Shuo's incident didn't go unnoticed - Lengquan Palace was also aware of this event. To divert Fan Yue's attention, Lengquan Palace used Nether Poison to drug the whole Ning'an City. While the citizens were restless, they would take this opportunity to steal Bai Shuo from Fan Yue. Nevertheless, their plan was foiled due to unwanted circumstances including Bai Shuo's father Bai Xun's sacrifice. His sacrifice contained kindness contemplation, which was sucked into Bai Shuo's body immediately. Bai Shuo was later sent to Lanling Sect to be tutored by the one-thousand-year-old ancient turtle.

2) Outlanders City "Strange Mist" - Kill
At Haoyue Palace, Bai Shuo saw the vision of the second contemplation and concluded that it would appear at Outlanders City. Coincidentally, it was also Tian Huo's birthplace. Thus, they traveled to Outlanders City to find the second contemplation. In the meantime, Wutong Martial Art Contest was also held at the same time, which meant immortals and demons alike could enter the city (which had been sealed for 10 years). Meanwhile, Tian Huo reunited with her family and unearthed shocking secret about her mother's death alongside Hua Yong's sacrifice for her. Still in Outlanders City, Bai Shuo, Fan Yue, Bei Chen, and Mu Jiu found Rong Xian and Ling Long's tomb (the late Saint of Kunlun and Saintess of Fox Clan) and unexpectedly were sucked into Rong Xian's realm of resentment (this will become a vital point in the third arc - I won't explain it right now). It turned out that Tian Huo's father Hua Lin colluded with Lengquan Palace and intended to transform Hua Yong into a deity by sacrificing the guests of Outlanders City. However, Wu Zhao (Tian Huo's uncle) also colluded against Hua Lin and killed him without hesitation. In the Underground Palace, Bai Shuo, Fan Yue, and Chong Zhao were kidnapped by Fu Ling (Zhen Yu's underling) and nearly got killed if it hadn't been for the Outlanders Sword. It helped them to escape the peril and also provided Bai Shuo the second contemplation - kill.

3) Jingyou Mountain "Fox Tribulation" - Love
This time, Bai Shuo and co ventured to Jingyou Mountain to obtain Weak Water Stone, which could suppress the immense power of Contemplation Stone. There, they met Chang Mei - the leader of the Fox Clan and also the younger sister of Ling Long. For the past 1000 years, Chang Mei had been shouldering the heavy responsibility of becoming a ruler and also lost her lover Ah Qi as he sacrificed himself to revive the Emotion Tree. Weak Water Stone was supposed to be buried inside Emotion Tree, but Chang Mei stole it to prolong Mu Jiu's fragile life. Thus, Emotion Tree became a human-eating tree because Ah Qi's spiritual power weakened day by day. Xiao Ba, Ah Qi's sworn brother also gave his life up for the sake of this tree. Unbeknownst to them, Fu Ling sabotaged the Emotion Tree again and this time Mu Jiu offered his life to the Emotion Tree (if it hadn't been for this incident, Mu Jiu would've married Tian Huo and lived peacefully in seclusion). Mu Jiu's spiritual power and blessing made the tree blossom once more, followed by the third contemplation for Bai Shuo, which was love.

4) Stone City "Extinct Race" - Hate
The fourth contemplation occurred at Stone City - Cang Shan's birthplace. Coincidentally, Qi Feng aka Chen Ye (Fan Yue's younger brother and Zhen Yu's underling) also came to avenge his clansmen. During his visit, he managed to kill Cang Shan's parents and several elders. In the end, Cang Shan also sacrificed himself to suppress the Baize Clan's resentment aura (in the past, the Stone Clan used the Baize Clan's dead bodies and crushed their bones into powder as medicine), which then entered Bai Shuo's body as the fourth contemplation - hate. In this arc, Bai Shuo and Fan Yue also endlessly encouraged Qi Feng to abandon Lengquan Palace and dark arts before everything was too late. In the end, bad ending still occurred as Qi Feng took the blow meant for Fan Yue to protect his elder brother.

5) Bodhi Village "True and False Gods" - Greed
Bai Shuo alongside her companions took a trip to Bodhi Village in search for her master, Old Turtle. In the village, they encountered a lotus spirit named Luan Zhu. For some reasons, Luan Zhu seemed to have a deep hatred to Bai Shuo, going as far as to switch body with her to manipulate Fan Yue. Meanwhile, Chong Zhao also reunited with his parents, who acted weird upon seeing their son. Thanks to the power of the Contemplation Stone, Bai Shuo managed to break free from Luan Zhu's restraint and uncovered deadly secret including Luan Zhu's puppetry skill and her collusion with Jin Yao (the head of Lanling Sect). Eventually, the fifth contemplation came out of Jin Yao after Chong Zhao lost control of his hidden power and accidentally killed him in the process.

Major spoiler:
In the past, Luan Zhu granted Jin Yao divine cultivation method and in return Jin Yao must send immortals to become her offering. However, Chong Zhao's parents found out this secret and were sent to Bodhi Village by this cunning old fox.

6) God's Realm Appearance
Bai Shuo were sucked into the Lunar Hidden Sea for the umpteenth time and learnt the complicated love story between the supreme deities Xing Yue and Jing Yuan (Note: Bai Shuo and Fan Yue were their incarnation) from Xiu Yan, Xing Yue's former attendant. It was also where she found out that Chong Zhao acted as the vessel for Hidden Lord Mo Li. In this very arc, Bai Xi died from blocking Mo Li's spear and transformed into Xing Yue Divine Bow. Tian Huo also sacrificed herself to repair the Outlander's Sword and turned it into Xing Yue Divine Arrow. As Bai Shuo and Mo Li prepared for the 'wedding', Fan Yue came in time and launched full-scale attack with Bai Shuo's aid. Chong Zhao destroyed his divine soul to severely wound Mo Li. Finally, Bai Shuo shot Fan Yue as Fan Yue used his last power to suppress the Hidden Heart. Bai Shuo later became a supreme deity and met Temple Master Sun again. It turned out that she was the heaven who overwatched the three realms. In the last moment, she granted Bai Shuo her wish - which was to revive Fan Yue.

Note: This arc is quite complicated to be explained properly. You need to watch it by yourself to understand this arc much better.

In my opinion, the script is beautifully crafted with many meaningful dialogues, drawing you in from the very first glance. Some people might feel this is a recycled xianxia, but for me, it's a different case. It's been long since I watch a drama where I can relate easily to its characters. I also feel the joy and sorrow of the characters, especially Bai Shuo (I literally have similar personality as hers, though not so extroverted). Each character's arc is fleshed out properly to help us link with their current states or personalities and why they have to end up in this way.

An absolute phenomenal acting from both Bai Lu and Ao Ruipeng. It's my first time watching Bai Lu and she captures the essence of Bai Shuo's character in the most exceptional way. By the way, I've been ogling for Ao Ruipeng's next project after The Blood of Youth. I must say he's better off to cheerful and hot-blooded character rather than a stoic domineering demon. He may exude the commanding aura of a demon lord, but he still needs refinement for this kind of role and no worries, there's a lot of room for improvisation. As for the second couple, I need to rave about their equally fabulous performance. Dai Luwa is getting better at her acting skill and she gets a lot of hate for her toxic role, but it means that her portrayal of Fu Ling/Bai Xi is quite mind-blowing. Chang Huasen also embodies the role of the kind righteous Chong Zhao and the cruel malicious Mo Li at the same time, which immediately appeals to the audience (despite his black-flag attitude to Bai Shuo at the earlier episodes). Also, a special mention to the entire assemble of actors who have delivered this engaging fairytale wholeheartedly.

The mellow yet noteworthy OSTs also contribute to evoke the audiences' emotions. I particularly love Sa Dingding's opening OST and some others that I can't mention in this review. For an EDM and pop rock hardcore fan like me, it's very surprising that I love these OSTs despite my preference.

The sets, costumes, CGI, and many other props are stunningly beautiful. I absolutely adore the black and purple palette used in this drama (two of my favourite colours lol).

After the long ride, I want to ask myself, is this drama worth-watching? Definitely a big YES! You won't regret spending every minute for it and soon you'll be engaged into the enamoring storyline that you don't even know how many hours have passed since you tune in to Moonlight Mystique. I'll end my super long essay here, good bye and good luck!!!

A Beautiful Fairytale

This drama is like stepping into a magical storybook! Everything is so dreamy—the effects, the stunning settings, and the gorgeous costumes. The color palette is so beautiful, and every visual element makes you feel like you’re floating in a fairytale. It’s one of those dramas where you can’t help but pause just to admire the screen because it’s that pretty!

The Leads and Their Chemistry

Our leads are the heart and soul of the drama. They absolutely stole my heart!
Their chemistry is off-the-charts adorable, and they don’t shy away from plenty of sweet moments and skinship that will make you squeal. Watching their love story unfold felt like falling in love yourself—so pure and magical! I love how their relationship didn’t follow the typical drama clichés with unnecessary misunderstandings or silly breakups (okay, the divine past-life arc is an exception, but we’ll let it slide).

The male lead is such a gem—his smooth, calming vibe is just chef’s kiss, and his styling? Total eye candy , Ao Rui Peng, I definitely see you now! As for the female lead, Bai Lu is perfection as always. She’s a total queen: strong, smart, and no over-the-top childish antics here! These two are just made for each other, and every scene with them together feels like a gift. You’ll want to bottle up their screen time and keep it forever.

The Plot
Well, the plot is slightly above average for me. The drama introduces numerous side characters, but many of their storylines fail to capture attention, making their parts feel a bit dull. Exceptions include the ML’s right-hand people, Tian Huo and Zang Shan, who are standout characters despite their untimely deaths—a recurring theme, as nearly every supporting character meets the same fate. This made it difficult to get emotionally invested in most of them.

That said, the final arc is where the drama truly shines. The pacing picks up, the storylines tie together neatly, and the resolution feels satisfying. One detail I particularly appreciate is how the love story of the leads and their divine past selves is treated as two separate narratives with their own conclusions. It conveys a meaningful message: while the past influences the present, it shouldn’t dictate it, as breaking free from that loop is essential for moving forward., at least that is how I interpreted it.

Second Leads and Supporting Cast
The second leads, unfortunately, didn’t leave much of an impact on me. Bai Xie/Fu Ling was introduced as a wicked villain, and her love interest, Chong Zhao, also went off the rails at one point (sort of), making their outcome predictable. Knowing this, I avoided getting attached to their characters, which spared me some heartache.

Final Thoughts
All in all, this drama is definitely worth checking out. While it didn’t necessarily need 40 episodes (most dramas rarely do), it’s a strong contender to become a classic in its genre. With its stunning visuals, compelling leads, and a surprisingly good final arc, it’s a journey well worth taking. And if you are frustrated with the classical last minute kind of ending, there's a nice 7 min long bonus episode to give our leads the well deserved happy wedding. I only wish they would do that for the supporting characters too.

MUST WATCH!

Truly do not miss out on this drama! I was immediately captivated and immersed into Bai Shuo and Fan Yue’s world. The story is beautifully told and you truly feel for every single character whether they had a 1 or 3 episode cameo. You will hate the bad but also learn why they are that way, the story unfolds and allowing you to see why every decision from each character was made, even if you couldn’t agree with it — it all flows well. I absolutely love Ao Rui Peng’s portrayal in this series, and this is my first introduction to him. I’ve read on other platforms how some may have doubted him as a lead but I cannot comment on his past work but with this one in particular he did it incredibly well. I’m looking forward to seeing his past and future works. Please give this show a chance, 40 episodes flew by for me. I loved every minute of it!

If "Love" has other name then it'd be "Moonlight Mystique" in my heart.

A top notch Xanxia. If only MDL offers rating more than 10. This drama for me is in top 2.

“Moonlight Mystique” is a drama about Love, Sacrifice, Loyalty, hatred, greed which makes us to live ourselves as one inside this series. It’d make us to express all the emotions the characters in the series expressed. I cried when they cry, I broke when they broke, I laughed when they did. This is one such series which I wanted to take with me forever.

I must mention the flow of this story. Unlike other Xanxias this drama started with the Human realm and moved towards the divine realm and at the very end it again ended in the earth, which gave me a very proper and flawless ending where there is no breakup between the leads, where there is a very healthy, pure and loyal mains relationship which most of the Xanxias lag. One thing that must be mentioned is the equality in the weightage of the role. Instead of “Hero saving damsel in distress” The main leads equally support each other through life and death situation throughout the series. That made me to delve deeper as the series goes on

Talking about costume, The crew really went all out on costume and make up. The CGI, the Action scenes are no joke. Every time it impressed me with a surprise element. The quality of their acting is top Notch setting the bar really high for upcoming xanxias. This series is a must watch to all the xanxia lovers.

The Upcoming are the SPOILERS…

This series starts with the Fan yue (demon king) searching for the person who can gather 5 contemplations {Love, Kill, Greed, Kindness, and Hate} to save himself from a curse. In the process he meets Bai shou who wanted to become an immortal in order to repay the kindness of a person who saved her sister and her from a demon during their childhood.

As the story goes on the collecting of these 5 contemplations divides into 5 arcs, At each arcs they will go through thick and thin with the fellow guardian of Fan yue, Tian Huo and Cang shan and collects the contemplations

……………….(Do not read it before watching the drama—Major spoilers)

I was really broke that I cried a river in Many of the scenes as the story goes on, as Bai Shou gradually fell in love with Fan yue, As she loses their loved ones one by one to save the world my heart shattered into pieces each time someone dies.

Everyone of the characters has their own meaning for their existence, their own choices to make, their own dilemma but at the end of the day It’s all for the love they have for each other.

When the Bai Shuo’s father die in Ning ‘an as a governor for his people in front of Bai Shuo, as she scream loud while the OST plays my tears flowed for the first time in this series. How can Bai Lu act so real? She is really a veteran; can anyone replace her?

As the story goes on the sacrifices made by each one was heart touching and at the same time It was choiceless. The love between all the characters was so true and I was really moved by each.
A childish love – Mu Mu and Bai shou
A Tragic love – Rong xian and Ling Long
An Unattainable love – Mu Jiu and Tian Huo
An Unacknowledged love – Cang Shan and Tian Huo
A Companionate love – Fan Yue and Tian Huo
A parental love – Bai shou and Her master
An obsessive love – Mo li towards Xing Yue and Luan Zu towards Jing yuan
A sisterly love – Bai Shuo and Bai Xi
A forbidden love – Chong Zhao and Fu ling
and
Finally,
An Eternal, fated, sacrificial, unconditional, therapeutic, Dependent love ---- Bai Shuo/ Xing Yue and Fan Yue/ Jing yuan

The story is centred around love and at the end “LOVE WINS ALL”. I must mention the Chemistry between the leads which was woahhh too too too good and in every kiss they share my heart fluttered like anything. Hats off Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng, the chemistry was deep.

As the story goes Each character will lose their loved one either as a sacrifice for the other or killed by the villain. The one which shattered my heart was Tian Huo’s death. All through the journey she lost her loved ones in each step and walked the path of loneliness with only one thing that’s her loyalty towards Fan Yue. When she sacrificed herself for Bai Shuo, Fan Yue and died in the arms of her master(Fan Yue) to whom she showed unwavering loyalty till the end.

Ao Rui Peng from a naughty and mischievous Jing Yuan to Cold, responsible Fan Yue and Bai Lu from cold, responsible, alone Xing Yue to Carefree, mischievous Bai Shuo, the dynamics of their acting is worth to tell that they delivered the best ever Xanxia.

The director didn’t forget to give the surprise element which mad me Dumbfounded: Especially when Bai xi was the divine bow and when Bai Shuo became Supreme deity Bai Shuo rather than Supreme Deity Xing Yue, Stronger than Xing Yue due her strong Love.

At the end of the day, the entanglements and love showcased in this drama is endless until the end which is impossible in real. It was a therapy for me where I lived in a Fantasy for a while.

This drama destroyed all the other dramas in my favourite list and reached the top.
I thank each crew member(Especially the Screen writer, Director, Costume designers, Actors and the staffs who took care of the actors) for giving me this drama which I can cherish forever. I wanna bow to all the actors who did everything to deliver a Marvelous “Moonlight Mystique” Which can’t be replaced in my heart.

"Only when the right people meet at the right time, can they be together forever. I spent 60,000 years searching for Xingyue, but only now I realize that, Xing Yue, the lunar lord, is long gone. then Jing Yuan, the Demon Lord, has no reason to stay in the world. Being able to see her one last time, I'm content. Perhaps, my awakening was meant to bring you two together after 60,000 years"
- Jing yuan (I cried a river after this for a long time) This is my favourite line in this drama.

Thank you, Crew,….

A MUST WATCH

I don't even know if I have the words to describe my emotions right now. this drama was an insane ride of emotions and I loved every minute of it. I was drawn in from the first episode the visuals the outfits cgi the STORY I just can't it was all so beautiful. the way I couldn't even hate some characters because of how they were meant to be "evil" because of how cruel destiny is. I believe that they will all reincarnate and meet again. I'm so happy that "heaven" gave them the happy ending we all needed. 100/10 if you're questioning if you should watch it just click play and enjoy the ride trust me you won't regret it!!! ❤️

Everything About this drama is a Masterpiece.....Best chinese drama, i have ever watched

I have watched alot of XianXia drama like LBFAD , TTEOTM and others
But this is another level, feelings , emotion and purity
I am so in love with this

Honestly , was looking forward to this movie since last year and was scared it was not gonna go far....But i am so happy that i was proven very wrong

BAI SHUO and FAN YUE ....the best cdrma couples......from trust , support, emotion , understanding , communication, pure love without toxicity , two beautiful souls fighting side by side, overcoming pain and cruelty together

Kudos to the casts, story writer, producer and to BAI LU and AU ROI PENG for this captivating and breathtaking masterpiece
I hope you succeed more🙏
