CEO Shin likes to mastermind for others and I hope this doesn’t backfire on him. His post brought things to a head for Bu TianNa and Zhao Heng. I’m not gonna fault him for being pissed because he’s right…they’re a couple or not. He gave her very good images of the type that accepts the scenario she gave him and asking her to choose laid it out for her pretty plainly. She is so used to getting her way and she really didn’t consider his feelings at all. She thought a done deal that he would go along with whatever she wanted however she wanted it. He will be a partner with her or not at all and she didn’t expect that. Xu Chi is working herself to the quick with no letups for real rest. Even with XinZhi intervening, it was too late and she physically collapsed after everything that went down with her mom’s apartment building. I love that he missed the meeting of his life to go to her❤️ Even his partner finally caught on that one thing surpassed his ancient grudge with Wen — his future with Xu Chi. He knows where she will be and gets there just in time to catch her….literally. Her ear issue was pure exhaustion meeting flight turbulence. Had she been healthy, this would not have been an issue. I like how he showed her their city from his rooftop. All the things she never takes the time to see. And rather than asking her to toss the apartment dream, he has her look closer at what her mom really wished for her. He helped her recognize that the apartment was a set of shackles she put on herself out of guilt for her mother. I was thinking her actual father would intervene about the apartment. I did not expect an actual sinkhole to take it from her in a really weird twist of fate. I can only be glad they lost no money there and more importantly, Xu Chi acknowledge where her safe place actually is. ❤️ This is the first time a turned down proposal made me smile and cheer for them. He pulled out that necklace so fast with I already knew your choice line. He was ready to meet her terms immediately and letting her know she could meet his at any time of her choosing. Plus the physical reminder of his promise for today and all her tomorrows. What shocked me was no investigation by her two buddies at work. They are too busy being grieved with each other. Mr Shen has game!👏🏻🫣💋 Did not see that coming. He was adorable presenting all his shortcomings to Lin to get her to accept him. He is grieved with her work first mode of living. This habit will be a force to be reckoned with and he will have to decide if he accepts this part of her if she is truly incapable of compromise. I am waiting to see how this plays out but I am liking these two together. Bu TianNa and Zhao Heng….these two… she knows her family will not accept him and he is also well aware. The real question is what does Bu TianNa value most? He makes her question all of her priorities. Not just him. He hasn’t let her in to his real history either because the bottom line is he knows she is putting on a good front but she has not committed. She is starting to see him for who he is, but she’s not interested enough to make it a priority….anywhere. This public photo of a blind date was kinda the last straw for him. This is where I wanna smack Shen who thinks he’s being so damn helpful. Is he? I’m on the fence. This had to come up, but did it have to come up this way and at this time? When Lin is still logged into computer more than him I have to wonder. But at the same time she moved a meeting to spend time with him…sorta. Does this count if work is never put away? Professional couples have to decide these things. For Xu Chi and Xin Zhi….when he put in the earbuds and comforted her, I was really wishing he would have crawled in bed beside her so she could fall asleep on his chest. I was so disappointed she had to sit up to hang on to him. I really loved that he recognized the importance of his future over his past. She is his everything.❤️ Now if he would just let her know that. I am hoping Du’s chatty self reveals that to her cause she really needs to know. So even tho the other couples ALL got to kiss first, I absolutely love how they treat lead couple in this drama with respecting each other’s true feelings and being up front about it. That necklace engagement ring will have me happy teary eyed all day because it represents how well he knows her and values every single thing about her. It was lovely.🌹❤️💋
