Slow paced and sweet
If you like fast paced shows with a lot of drama and action or easy entertainment this might not be for you, but if you like stories that take their time and delve into the characters this is a great show. This is my favorite gl by far, I keep finding new things I like every time I rewatch, a character detail I hadn't noticed, the sound design, beautiful frames. It's a beautiful show. A rich, comforting story about found family and overcoming grief, about what love can do if you let it in.Was this review helpful to you?

Rak is the greenest green flag that ever flew.
"Us" is one of my all-time favorites. It's on my rewatch list, and even after several times, I still tear up in both happy and sad parts. The screenwriters and director who built this beautiful love story from the dumpster fire of a novel by Chao Planoy did fantastic work and deserve credit for their willingness to make the necessary changes, which resulted in the best adaptation of any of Planoy's work to date. While it does still suffer from Planoy's tendency to throw every possible trauma at her characters, this adaptation manages to soften the conflicts that could have caused conflict between Rak and Pam and shifts the story into the type I prefer, where most of the challenges the couple must navigate that ultimately make them stronger are external to their relationship.
The chemistry between Emi and Boni is undeniable, and the acting and production quality in this series are excellent.

I really am single. The way their chemistry is seen, is really something else. They look so good together you would even ask if they were really together. Tho the story is kinda mess up, thankfully they didn't rely on the novel 'cause it's far more worse than the series (I've seen so many people say it, with just having to read a single chapter on the novel)Was this review helpful to you?
Cute and cozy couple
This show was amazingggTHE GOOD
The main couple's chemistry is amazing.
The show spends tons of time focusing on the coziest moments. This is what I'm here for, and they gave me LOTS.
The secondary couple is also amazing. Both amazing actors and portrayed really complex/nuanced characters. Their future work as leads is going to be incredible.
We actually get some complex and imperfect characters and treat their problems in an earnest way. I really thought I would hate you the whole time, and I ended up caring about you so much ^_^
THE WHATEVER
Omg there was SO much PPL it had to be an actual record. But also I never really minded it because its just like "watch your favorite cozy couple be cozy and use a product" so like I am happy to do so.
There is some crazy melodrama plot points. Some iffy things and some things that are wild but then never revisited.
THE BAD
This genre has a bad habit of not actually giving satisfying resolutions to the people who do bad things.
The age gap is a bit icky. Just the young one is a bit too "cusp of adulthood" for an age gap relationship imo. It didn't help that the older actor is actually even older irl PLUS her characterization was "cold" so she comes across as even more mature PLUS they actively lean into the age gap dynamic

people might call it boring, but at the end of the day i always come back to pamrak
the story is such a basic revenge plot, but what needed to be highlighted and known by all the people is, this series managed to deliver such a beautiful healthy sapphics relationship. it has slow-burn, no rushing-up to date each other, no break up, just pure love, understanding, and softness. which many of those yuri shows failed to deliver (since we know, most of the yuri shows we watched have doomed yuri in it).emi and bonnie as actors did amazing work showing their actings, most of pamrak scenes that seem ‘domestic’ to us, were all improvised by them. bonnie as actress did so well in this series, considering this was her second project after “highschool frenemy” series.
some OSTs were also sung by the talented actresses, that makes this show more special to me.

It tells the reality of a healthy relationship in its daily life and in the problems of life
Us the Series is a beautiful GL drama that captures the essence of love in a heartfelt and genuine way. The story follows Dokrak, and Pam, as they navigate their romance through tender moments and real-life challenges. One of the highlights of this series is the natural chemistry between the two leads. Their relationship feels mature and sincere, avoiding unnecessary drama in favor of deep emotional connection. The story unfolds smoothly, with early episodes exploring hidden feelings and desires, while later episodes bloom into heartwarming romance. The final chapters showcase how the two women support each other, leading to an emotional and satisfying conclusion.
What makes this drama truly special is its realistic approach to love—it doesn’t rely on forced conflicts but rather focuses on communication, understanding, and respect. If you're looking for a GL drama with a beautiful, authentic love story, this is definitely a must-watch. i love it, this is my preferite!!!

long but delicate
This GL really shows mature people in healthy relationships despite some bad decisions made by the characters. It's very sensitive in showing character's perspectives and feelings, no one is disposable. The villain is similar to trully bad real life people.EmiBonnie are perfect together and even the side couple (ViewMim) are a match made in heaven. Thank god they're gonna have their own GL series too.
The featured opening song is melodical and is synched with the series dramatic story, it gives me goosebumps everytime.
Though, I do think it could be faster, maybe have last episodes, because sometimes it felt like the plot was dragging too slowly.
It's a good show and I'm grateful for it but I'd make it shorter.

My confort GL series
I made a mistake before I started watching this series. I remember I chose to read the US novel, and it's trash (in my opinion...). When I finished reading it, in the following weekend the series started airing, and the fact that they changed 90% of the story was perfect!I loved the adaptation so much—the characters, the music, the scenes, the chemistry—everything in the series was perfect for me!
Sometimes I find myself going back and watching it again, or just watching the parts I liked the most, like episode 3, after P'Oat leaves Dorak at home with Pam and Pam takes care of Dorak, the exchange of glances with the background song... I love it! Her discovering about the drawings... And at the end of the episode, the kiss...
From episode one to the last episode, I loved it so much, and I rewatch it whenever I can. I highly recommend it.

I hope that GMMTV will continue to offer more projects to these amazing couples - Emi and Bonnie, as well as Nene and Oat. They are incredibly talented performers. These 4 actresses will make you feel the power of love just by watching them; their eyes can speak for themselves and Emi and Bonnie's kisses … perfect!! 🙌🏻♥️♥️
GMMTV should support and cherish these actresses as they are truly exceptional. I’ve watched many GL series, but this is the only one that gives me butterflies. I also appreciate how they emphasize the importance of love, forgiveness, and family. Sing's portrayal as a brother is also commendable, and his acting skills are top-notch, as are the rest of the cast. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Tender, honest, and unforgettable.
Us: The Series is a refreshing and heartfelt addition to the Thai GL genre. From its first episode, the series draws you in with its storytelling and raw emotional depth. Rather than rushing through its story, the series takes its time, allowing the characters and their emotions to unfold naturally, allowing viewers to connect with them in a very real and intimate way.
Bonnie and Emi deliver standout performances as Dokrak and Pam, portraying their characters with sincerity.Their chemistry feels natural and real, making their relationship one of the most believable and emotionally resonant in recent GL shows. Each interaction, whether it's a glance, a hesitant touch or a moment of vulnerability, feels genuine.
Dokrak's inner conflict of falling for her brother’s ex-girlfriend is handled with sensitivity, showcasing the complexity of the situation without exaggerating it.
Visually, the series is soft and warm, with a color palette and cinematography that mirrors the emotional tones of the story.
In conclusion, Us isn’t just a GL series; it’s a touching story about human connection, acceptance, and finding the courage to follow your heart. It’s a slow-burn in the best way, totally worth it. For anyone looking for a well-acted, emotionally moving GL drama with beautiful story telling should definitely give it a try. Us is a must watch!

Review - W.I.P
These two are going to make us swoon over their pair for sure. One is thinking, she is lying to the other while the other one knows everything (most probably) and is going to tease the hell out of her, giving me 'The Handmaiden' vibe. The movie like production quality and sound editing felt really good, solid acting from everyone, well directed and segmented, specially the closer of episode one, what a twist! I love the cinematography so much. Out of all the GLs I’ve seen, I prefer this one the most in terms of the vibe and editing. I like the color gradient they use, it has a mature/serious/dramatic and kind of indie vibe.
Both the actresses has such expressive eyes! It's amazing. They perfectly portray there characters as someone who fell in love for the first time with the person they couldn't love. Those loving eyes longing for each other especially with Bonnie is what made me like them. Although sometimes it feels a bit too long or perhaps repetitive especially with Rak's butterfly eyes moving back and forth especially for something so outwardly platonic but maybe that's the point. I mean, to sell their underlying attraction right from the start and lowkey feelings for each other even by episode one. Scenes felt so intense.
I love the way scenes were filmed, especially in the scene where they were in Pam’s room, the screen was fuzzy around the edges like Pam and Rak were the only ones who existed in that moment.
You know this show is about to be an emotional/angsty roller coaster when they establish the overall plot in part one of episode one. I guess Pam can’t get too mad about Rak lying about the drawings when she has her own secrets. I’m very intrigued about what Mim’s character end goal is.
