The female lead in gear me: our summer has a lot in common with twinkling watermelons male lead, and the male lead in hear me to the female lead in twinkling watermelon. While hear me doesnt have any relation to time skip, it has the same comfort vibes as twinkling watermelon. It has a much more mature aura but both are a fun watch

twinkling watemelon is more dramatic and affectioning while back to the 90's is more comedic.

the father of male lead is within a musical band and the male lead will be his best friend, joining him in playing guitar and composing songs.

Ryeoun seems playing similar character, like dealing with deaf character and musical aspiration. His interaction with his mom at this drama reminds me of his interaction with his dad in Twinkling Watermelon. His interaction with the other Jinwoo reminds me of his interaction with Yoon Chungah. But the most important is Ryeoun always have great chemistry with his fellow casts either male or female. However, Namib, along with Twinkling Watermelon and 18 Again shows Ryeoun's strong bromance chemistry with his fellow male actor

Both dramas are about a protagonist who is/was not happy in life and is thrown into a new situation (game/past). While fixed on a mission in the new scenario (make Yeowoon happy/protect his father) they discover the main reason why they are there: To be happy themselves and enjoy their youth. Both dramas have an amazing Ost and great acting, not to forget are filled with love for the project by the cast and the staff working on it.
