Love in the Air: Special Episode

(Very) Hot sequel with same defaults but providing satisfying ending

A nice sequel to the Love in the Air drama which allows the viewer to get finally a satisfying conclusion for both relationships as the ending in the parent series felt a bit too abrupt and rushed in its last couple of episodes.

Here, the story is clearly only romance-driven with numerous really steamy scenes offering some eye-candy and fan-service for the viewer. The plot is not that deep and stay very superficial with some misunderstandings creating artificial conflicts and leading to some new chasing needing to be done by 2 of the main leads to regain the affection of theirs love interests. While rather non-sensical, it is cute and really hot at some points.

Even if the defaults stays the same as in the original show with some really poor directing (and most particularly oddly jarring bad sound editing), it is a nice way to end the story. The acting seem to have slightly improved, helped by the fact that there are no big dramatic scenes requiring some heavy-lifting from the actors but instead a lot of sexy and playful time suiting them better.

I recommend this to people that have seen Love in the Air and are willing to extend their stay in this almost "fan fictional" universe and get even more heated scenes with these characters.

Jaelousy and Misunderstanding

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Rain and Sky
T (Owner): Payu and Pai

This is a continuation of the Love in the Air drama and features the two couples from that drama. The story start by showing the daily life of the two aforementioned couple. The crux of the story happens when the two B's of that drama (Sky and Rain) both experience something that made them jaelous and mad at their lovers (Sky's lover's ex girlfriend came to pester him and tell him he's actually not that important. Rain witness his lover being extremely close to a girl). Consequently, they decide to go on a trip by themselves. But their lovers quickly finds out where they are and goes to join them. The show ends with them explaining what happened and them reconciliating.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors playing B and T (both couples). Their chemistry was amazing and their interactions were cute and sweet. They also do a great job in portraying the affection between the characters. I really miss both couples and loved to see them back together again.
- The actors were really good looking and looked great together.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The intimate scenes are few in number and extremely tame; a great departure from the actual drama.
- The use of jaelousie and misunderstandings to introduce conflict is just so cliche it makes me want to rate this drama a 6 if it wasn't the fact I loved the characters' interactions. If you consider this just an excuse to have the couples appear again, you won't be dissapointed, but if you consider this an actual drama and expect something more, you'll be extremely dissapointed. There isn't really a plot and whatever they have doesn't make much sense. After what they have been through, why couldn't they relay their feelings to their lovers instead of running away? And Payu, I don't think he did anything wrong with the girl. It's Rain who was overthinking things. Why does Payu have to apologize when he did nothing wrong. Why doesn't Rain have to apologize to thinking Payu was someone who will cheat on him. In my opinion, if your lover thinks that of you, you have the right to be upset. And as of Sky. Why is he angry at Pai for something he can't control? I really can't relate to any of that. It just made Rain and Sky look extremely childish and unreasonable, and made Payu and Pai look like idiots who can't say no.

**Conclusion**
I was happy to see the couples back again but I won't be revisiting this special because I found the premise of the story just plain stupid. The only reason I gave such a high score is because I really love those couples.

An apt end to a great series

This is a 70 min episode to tie-in the story of the main leads. This is all about misunderstandings and reconciliations.
Rain witnesses Payu talking to a girl and misunderstands the situation and Sky is bothered by one of Prapai's ex. This enrages both of them and since talking it out with your significant other is never an option in these series, they decide to go on a vacation together leaving their boyfriends behind. After much of searching (well... not that much) they find the whereabouts of Rain and Sky. Although they catch up to Rain and Sky, they realise that their boyfriends are still angry. Rain and Sky design a punishment as a form of reconciliation and finally all is forgiven at the end. Later on confessions are made and vows are shared and finally all is well between them.
The story was simple and quite endearing with some really feel-good moments between the 2 couples. A nice ending to the series which is worth a multiple watch.
I feel there is certainly enough material to make a separate series detailing the life of Sky and Prapai since their individual pasts have just been mentioned in passing and a lot can still be brought to screen. The actors playing the characters are great and have a wonderful chemistry.

Honestly idk why some people felt that Phayu and Pai have a father son relationship. I mean I was almost at the verge of not watching this and making a good big mistake. Its just that once Rain said that Phayu was acting like "daddy" which soon he felt was better to replace with "hubby". And once Pai said "my son" while talking to Sky but clearly the situation he was in when he said that ...... no way he meant it in any other way than just a way of referring. Plus ig people should use their logic once before thinking that Phayu and Pai have a father son relationship, I mean srsly look at their age gap!!! Considering this it would mean Phayu was less than 4 when Rain was born!! Come on!!!
It was just so wonderful how this special ep showed that both Sky and Rain can be demanding sometimes as well. It showed the perfect balance between two people in a relationship and how valued it feels when your significant other tries to make up to you. It's also a very satisfying little ep. on how misunderstandings might lead to a bigger misunderstandings.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO WATCH IT (as long as you are ok with moderate 18+ content)

I have never written a review before, but I got to say this episode blew up me. the chemistry between the couples is just so amazing. all the actors did a great job. this episode was so adorable I am just obsessed with this episode.
there was not much of the story, but this episode was everything for the bl fans.

rain and sky having problems in their relationship decide to go on a break together to the beach and forget everything and relax but then they realize how they miss both of their boyfriends.

when phayu and prapai followed them on the beach after meeting them talking out their doubts and things going on understanding each other get to know how much they love each other.


ahhhhhhhhhh!!! and how can I forget about the steamy scenes like they were the highlights of the episode their intimacy and their chemistry on the screen is a LEGIT 10/10
like must, watch this episode after watching the drama it's like a cherry on the cake!!!

Sim, eu voltei só pra ver o Sky feliz

O episódio especial de Love in the Air foi tipo aquele café que você toma no fim do expediente: você nem precisava, mas tomou, e no fim até aqueceu o peito um pouquinho. Não mudou o mundo, não resolveu todas as coisas mal amarradas da série, mas entregou o que a gente queria ver: Sky e Prapai sendo felizes, Rain e Phayu ainda naquele eterno teatrinho de casal gato e rato, e um pouco de alívio emocional depois da montanha-russa de tensão que foi a história principal.

Assistir a esse episódio foi quase terapêutico. O Sky, finalmente leve, sem o peso constante do passado, sorrindo de verdade, foi a coisa mais satisfatória de ver. Me deu uma sensação de recompensa emocional por ter aguentado o Gun que me tirou do sério mais vezes do que consigo contar no pouco tempo que apareceu. Aqui, o Sky parece inteiro. Não só em relação ao romance com o Prapai, mas com ele mesmo. Ele parece confortável, seguro, e isso muda tudo. O Prapai continua na vibe “bad boy que virou namorado dedicado”, mas aqui ele tá mais suave, menos performático, mais gente real, o que ajuda muito.

O casal Rain e Phayu, por outro lado, segue naquela estética “estamos em um ensaio fotográfico sensual constante” que nunca foi exatamente o meu estilo. Eles têm química, ok, mas parece que nunca saem do personagem. Ainda assim, não incomodam tanto no especial. Talvez porque o episódio em si é mais focado na vibe “todo mundo feliz, olha como o amor venceu”.

Visualmente, continua bonito. É aquela mesma fotografia ensolarada, com direito a cena fofa, beijo bem filmado e olhares dramáticos que duram segundos demais. Nada surpreende, mas também nada decepciona. É fanservice, e nesse ponto, entrega com gosto. Eu diria até que o especial funciona melhor como encerramento emocional do que o final real da série. Ele dá aquele respiro necessário. Não pra curar todos os traumas do Sky (e os nossos, que assistimos), mas pra deixar claro que agora ele está bem, está amando e sendo amado, e isso já vale o episódio inteiro.

No fim das contas, o especial é pra quem ficou, pra quem se importou, pra quem sobreviveu ao Gun tentando parecer intenso. E se você, como eu, se apegou a Sky e Prapai no meio do furacão, vai assistir sorrindo. Porque às vezes, tudo o que a gente quer é um pouco de paz depois da tempestade.
