Poor sound, editing and acting

I came across this last night and started watching it without knowing anything about it. Initially it gave off a What's Wrong with Secretary Kim -vibe, but then moved to Groundhog Day. Secretary Bai wanted to resign because she hated her boss with a passion but was frustrated by being stuck in a time loop and reliving the same day over and over again. She learns how to anticipate the needs of everyone because she's already lived each circumstance of the day. It's a cute premise, but not well-executed. The sound production is awful! The sound cuts out suddenly periodically, sometimes it becomes loud, and often the voices sound like they are coming from a tunnel. The "special effects" with the elevator were awful. The way it was edited was odd too. Sometimes we saw how she changed things, sometimes we didn't. Quick cutaways that were jarring "oh, I guess we're moving on". It really felt like I was watching a movie of an amateur that had some free time and just decided to make a movie.

The ML was a complete narcissistic jerk. Apparently, he acted the way he did because he's liked his secretary all this time...sure, it makes sense to make her life a living hell, that'll prove you like her.

I do have to say that the last 10-15 minutes of it are cute, once his true feelings are known.

Stayed up until 3am to binge this, loved it, no regrets!!

I wanted to find a super short drama to stall myself from finishing my main one, and omg this hit the spot.

I LOVED IT. It's like What's Wrong With Secretary Kim, with a pinch of Reset and Start-Up references: all the dramas I "grew up" with. Chances are if you like those, and want to see the alternate universe happy ending for Han Ji Pyeong, THIS is your answer (I actually was on the Nam Do San team too!!). The couple and their interactions, as well as the story, I loved everything about it.

I had to question myself if Kim Seon Ho decided to act in a Chinese web drama because the male lead looks so much like him even down to his expressions and mannerisms! I appreciate the little Start-Up easter eggs sprinkled in near the end as it seems the crew behind this drama acknowledged it as well. The female lead is also super cute and easy to watch. She did very well, and her character wasn't frustrating to watch at all.

I'm also a sucker for the early 2010 kdrama tropes (again, that legendary secretary kdrama!), so this tied the knot on it very prettily. I actually think I like this one more, it doesn't drag and they paced everything perfectly. Super impressed.

High chance I'll rewatch it again because their scenes are so cute, and there's plenty throughout, even each episode, because of the time loop :)

Its a One time watch for a passtime.

This is time loop drama. Its beginning was good but then story dragged on. Leads are good so I watched it.

Feels like badly edited super short version of a full length drama

There are alot of abrupt flashbacks of things that supposedly happened that we only see in flashbacks & it make you feel cheated because they are flashed on the screen & then gone. This drama reminded me a bit of the Korean drama "Feel good to die", as it uses the "groundhog day" time loop, deals with a disgruntled employee & a supposedly mean boss romance. I wasn't impressed with this drama though, as it suffers from being way too short. I feel like they shrank down a 10 episode (of 40+ min each) drama into whatever bit sized thing this is. [ mini drama seems a bit to generous !] Yes, there is romance, but it's really low key and the kisses are basically just a screen shot & that's all. Though it's super short, it still felt like an unsatisfying waste of time

just wtf( this is shit, dont waste your time on it)

This drama started with so much potentially, the Fl not being one of the girls head over heels for the ML,and not getting her feelings played by him , and maybe the ML becoming a better version of him. BUT NO, at like the middle of the episodes, guess, he is still a jerk and a narcisist who thinks everyone loves him ,that he is so special ,blah blah. And the FL who was the only normal in head, guess what, she becomes a shy girl that is head over heels for the stupid ML.
The most horrible ML, how is he gonna be loved by the audience when he gets angry when he finds out somebody doesn't like him, GOD.
People liked this shit just for the ML and cause he is a little handsome,ew.
I was being generous with the ratings .

Started with no expectation, but ended with lots to look forward for!!!

Well, I started this drama out of boredom since it was a short one, but I did not expect to stumble upon a treasure with hidden gems.

First, there is the plot. It is a time-loop story, and we all know how writers frequently mess up this genre. But not for this one. The story was well-executed. I couldn't even think of any plot holes or inconsistencies with the story (there could be some that goes unnoticeable and doesn't really affect the story).

The writer also did a good job with how hilarious both characters are especially with their banter and inner thoughts. Again, great script execution. I also liked how it doesn't feel like those other short c-dramas (typically run for at least 2 up to 10 mins) that look cheap and over-the-top. This one is delivered and presented with quality.

The highlight of the story is, of course, the ML. I'm surprised he was so young but able to perform such mature and quality acting. Despite him being a rookie, he'd done so well that I'm looking forward to his future projects.

Overall, it was a good watch. Totally enjoyed it.

Light, Fluffy and Swoon Worthy

If you’re looking for a lighthearted romance that feels like a mix of drama and otome game, Secretary Bai Wants to Resign Everyday is such a fun watch. The story follows Bai Jing, a secretary who seems to constantly want to quit her job — but not because she hates it. Instead, her boss (and the situations he puts her in) are just too much to handle sometimes! 😅

✨ What I loved:
The Couple - their pairing is swoony and chemistry is on point! Who doesn't like to see a story progression from enemies to finally starting to care. Muahahahaha.
The playful banter between Bai Jing and her boss — it’s equal parts hilarious and heart-fluttering.
The “everyday resignation” gag never feels boring, because it always leads to new situations and chemistry.
The drama balances comedy with just enough sweet moments to make your heart swoon.

💭 Overall Thoughts:
It’s a refreshing romantic comedy that doesn’t take itself too seriously, perfect for fans of office romance with a quirky twist. If you enjoy stories with a mix of humor and romance, you’ll definitely have fun with this one!

I Want To Resign Every Day is a nice time loop miniseries. With each time loop, there is great character development for the leading couple, some comedy, and a nice slow burning romance. The transition from one episode to the other is nicely done and there is a logical flow to the story. Although the drama has an overbearing and narcissistic boss and an overworked secretary tired of her dominant and arrogant boss that she wants to resign as in the Korean drama “What's Wrong with Secretary Kim”, this drama has a well written time loop plot line. The leading couple has great chemistry that gets better as their story evolves and she discovers the real person behind the haughty boss and the reasons behind his attitude. This is a drama that could’ve been great if their intimate scenes were done better but, even as it is, the drama is very good and entertaining. Enjoy it!
