My Sweet Mobster

Both MLs own a meat-producing company and the workers at the company kind of give the same vibes in both dramas. The three frogs restaurant scene in Dali reminded me a lot of the scene in one of the early episodes in MSM where they are at the fair.

These two drama hve similarities in:
-Childhood friends to lovers
- female lead gets unemployed
- male lead runs a company
- cute second couple
And overall they are both sweet romcom to enjoy watching

Both dramas tell stories about complicated relationships. "My Dearest Nemesis" seems to be about people getting over bad things that happened to them and growing as people. "My Sweet Mobster" seems to be about a man trying to be good after being bad. So, if you like shows with people who have old relationships and change a lot, or if you like shows about childhood relationship, you might like both of these dramas.

Makoto, 29, is a sales clerk at the advertising agency Adraisa, and dreams of a happy family. She is a hard worker and admired by her colleagues, but in her private life, she is devoted to her selfish and self-centered boyfriend, Hayato, with whom she has been living for three years.

One day, she finds out that he has been cheating on her with a junior colleague, Kawatani, and breaks up with him, but at the same time, she loses her home... The one who reaches out to her is Odagiri, the department manager who is known as the "Yakuza boss" at work because of his cold-heartedness.

Until they find a new place to live, Makoto ends up living with Odagiri at his house. Odagiri's face is unexpectedly sweet, toying with Makoto. However, he has a hidden side as the young boss of a yakuza gang...

I’m not 100% sure why, but I get similar vibes from these two. Maybe it’s the childhood connection and the lingering feelings. ML in both also resist being like their father and want to make things right.
