they are both funny and hilarious. in the sweet mobster the male is funny and in the iss day and night the female lead is funny, I don't know what I am writing but both of them are good drama. you will laugh.

In both:
- guys in gangs are really funny
- ML falls first
- Min Min in past wanted to be a villain, Ji Wan was a boss of the gang
- FL is brave
- FL isn't at first interested in ML
- ML is a rich CEO, while FL is poor

Cool on the outside and Dorky on the inside male lead surrounded by a bunch of over dramatic bros

Nutty female lead that doesn’t come off as being a airhead.

Both are fun campy series that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Both male leads from my sweet mobster and the way of the house husband are “gangsters” gone soft
They have rough and evil face but a reversal identity of sweeties

When they were middle school students, Aihara Eiji and Bessho Naohiko attended the same school, and they were best friends. One day, Eiji’s childhood friend Shiosaki Izumi transferred to their school. Eiji had feelings for Izumi, but he never told her how he felt. Naohiko though confessed his feelings to Izumi and they became boyfriend and girlfriend. Now, all 3 are first-year high school students and attend the same school. There, they meet Fujimura Koharu, who begins to have feelings for Naohiko, Senami Taichi, who is a member of a band, and Ikezawa Mizuho, who is a literary girl and likes Eiji.

33-year old Han Je In is a mystery novelist who is notorious for habitual false reporting to the police in town. Her only friend is police officer Rok Hwan, who has had a crush on her since childhood. One day, Je In hears a scream of help from an apartment upstairs and reports that a serial killer lives above her but no one believes her. Convinced that Jason, the handsome man living upstairs, is a serial killer, she asks Rok Hwan to help follow him around with her. But as she learns more about Jason in her pursuit to uncover the truth, she begins to fall for him. Seeing her in this state, Rok Hwan feels a tinge of jealousy.

it was similar in that both stories are revolved around trying to find their childhood friend/lover that they miss and have not seen in years. they are both also super cute and fun to watch.

There's a similar theme of former gangsters attempting to run a legitimate business and leave their life of crime. Both dramas have kind of a found family situation going one.

Different genre, but for me these two have some similarities when it comes to the vibe they give.
As I wrote in my review for My Sweet Mobster, it is kind of like the scriptwriters didn't take themselves too seriously, which resulted in some lighthearted humor.
Both of these shows also showcases underlying issues; for MSM it is ex-convicts' struggles to get back into society, and for KF it is widows' status during Joseon times.

both mls are really sweet, genuine and protective towards fl but are bad at flirting. both ml fall for the fl first. both fls have a mysterious and sad past that they want to overcome. both dramas also have a crime related subplot.

Both drama have male lead always wearing suit and male lead in the chinese drama ia a bodyguard. Both love the female lead very much and 2nd couple also have great plot

Similar theme different take. Both have ML that are ex-mafia and have employed their underlings in their legitimate business/law firm. While MSM is sweet and lite like light candy, LL is a well done, heavy, dark take on reality with little romance. Both are fantastic for the genre they focus on.

Mobster male lead, quirky & poor female lead. Relationship starts off on chaotic misunderstandings and the leads can't stop running into each other despite disliking each other from the start. Romcom atmosphere, etc..
