Turn and twist
It takes almost 7 episodes for it to start äand get intresting. They took a long a way to getos the story ng "get to know" the characters, but it's a 50-part series, so there will be a lot of twists and turns. But it's going to be interesting and this one is better than the previous 50 part series which was called something like the three bold siblings. But I imagine this series will have a lot of sides storys, particular in 50 part series not everythingwho ends happily ever after. I'm looking forward to following it but i would have liked to see more episodes a week as the series makes you want you to see more. First - it turns out to be 50 eps long (I never thought to check first, bottoms!) If it were condensed to about 16 eps it might be a much stronger story, ditching many of the crap characters and focussing instead on the real dilemmas faced by ML and FL.
Second after 4 eps, Every. Single. Character - apart from about 4 of them - is apparently toxic, manipulative, weak, selfish or a narcissist - or a combination of all of the above. Faced with the prospect of 46 more episodes of this, I am absconding.
Third - already I am FF through all those sections not directly involving the ML or FL.
Fourth - I'm not usually affected by poor production values, but most of this looks like it has been done on the very-very-cheap. Not saying that sets actually wobble, but some of them look very close to that.
Fifth - even though I really like the ML, FL and some of the individual characters close to them who display anomalous traits of emotional maturity and honesty, I can't see me putting up with this cliched and trite writing for much longer.
Sixth - There is humour, but it all seems to hang on the atrocious behaviour of those toxic and conniving characters, and as a result I find it deeply unfunny.
Seven - it occurs to me that perhaps the reason this has been all over my FB feed is that it is just rubbish. I feel desperately bad for the actors - many of whom are just great!
So ... NO. I really don't think that with this drama the Real HAS come at all, and nor do I think it will arrive any time soon. Unless you have a particularly masochistic streak, just don't.
Of course, if it's your cup of tea, then that's OK. We're all different.

Good soap
Contract marriage type drama with friendship and a balanced contract. It's a SOAP. So avoid if you can't deal with soap. lol But it's really nice for a soap, with the lead couple being friends from the beginning. I don't normally watch these family dramas, they're normally too slow for me. But this one has been less slow than a usual family drama.The theme can be triggering if you have trauma related to pregnancy, but also maybe easier to relate to. The characters other than the main leads tend to be very hard on the leads emotionally, too.

SO outdated and clichéd
Dreadfully dated.Bad soap opera feel to it, with cheap looking sets.
Outdated characters ~ supposedly 'hicky' working class family, with the usual debts caused by parents, reliant on the one sensible, more successful family member, who is pressured and leeched off; money grabbing mother of status seeking daughter, with long suffering father in another family; slapping of faces; class distinction (based on wealth, certainly not 'class'); controlling grandmother of wealthy family who seems sweet, but is cruel and callous; bitchy females; jealousy and vindictive characters; ffrom what I heard, a forgetful ost.
Just dreadful. I could not watch past ep4. The acting is so hammy, stiff and forced ~ almost farcical.
What was Ahn Jae-hyun thinking? I was so looking forward to seeing his first drama in too long, but whilst he isn't dreadful in it, sadly also not fabulous enough to make me stay. I hope he was paid well.
Anyone who loves soap operas, OTT characters and behaviour, with clichés by the bucket load ~ this will not disappoint. Sadly not for me at all.

Soap Opera, Farce, or just too melodramatic?
Or maybe all of those. This is a mess so far, awful writing, very misguided directing, with hit or miss acting. The ml is great, fl is fine though written badly, the ml’s mother is a wonderful veteran actress, the rest are a mess. Mostly the problem seems to be intention- the writing and directing seem to want this to be like some of the worst soap operas of the 90s and 00s. If so, a SHORT, smart and witty drama might have worked. But this is a very long, dumb and boring one mostly. There is also zero romantic energy between any characters so far. I will updates as more episodes become available if I can make myself watch more.Was this review helpful to you?
lost interest at minute 21
I don't usually watch long k-drama. Rarely able to go through more than 3 episodes. The only ones I found quite good were My Golden Life, Five Enough & My father is strange. I want to give this a shot because it's Ahn Jae Hyun first drama after hiatus. Unfortunately I immediately lost interest after the writer made the FL (a top teacher, supposed to be extra smart right?) mistakenly ruin ML car because she didn't bother to see a car license plate. Who in this time of day, thinks that only your boyfriend have that kind of car, I give it a pass if it's a super expensive sport car or some special painted car, but it's a white suv? c'mon....Was this review helpful to you?
Cansativo!
O começo foi legal, mas depois foi maçante. História muito longa, cansativa, muitas cenas desnecessárias, personagens chatos. No finalzinho de tudo deu uma melhorada, mas assistir 40 episódios pra 10 salvarem é desgastante.Demoraram 30 episódios para o primeiro beijo, que na minha opinião não foi nem lá aquelas coisas, e casamento então, só no último episódio.
Os personagens no início totalmente cruéis e hipócritas sem a menor necessidade, foram melhorar só no fim, mas aí já não adiantava mais, eu já tinha pego ranço da maioria.
Vilões cansativos e repetitivos, enredo com vai e vem desnecessário, reviravoltas sem sentido e zero emocionantes kkkkk
Gostei no início e somente nos últimos episódios, poderia ter sido super resumido que não seria ruim de assistir.
Não recomendo e jamais voltaria a ver...

Não sei como aguentei 50 eps
Os primeiros eps foram tão bons, morria de rir. Mas depois foi tudo um montanha russa de sentimentos, na maioria era de raiva mesmo, muitos personagens irritantes, chatos, hipócritas, queria socar todo mundo! A bagunça do roteiro onde os personagens legais ficavam chatos e os chatos ficavam legais???!!!! A grande espera para chegar no beijo, MDS foram 30 episódios, 50 eps pra ver eles casando, sobrevivi apenas de migalhas! CINQUENTA EPS AMIGOS
Me interessei pra assistir esse dorama só por causa do ator que fez Cinderela e os 4 cavalheiros 🤭dps que comecei que percebi que tinha 50 episódios kkkkkO que faz um roteirista fazer um dorama com 50 episódios, a gente acha que deve ter muitaaaa história.
Gente, sério … o começo do dorama e bom, interessante ai vai se passando os eps e começa a ficar repetitivo, cansativo e ao mesmo tempo chato de assistir.
A história em torno da familia e um grande drama familiar e quando vc acha que vai ficar tudo bem vem outro plot e muda tudo, Sao historias infinitas , o casal vilao sao pura maldade em separar a Yedoo e o Gong a todo custo e sem comentários. Tem horas q vc assiste na força do ódio mesmo… tive q passar rapidinho alguns takes por ta muito cansativo e chato de assistir !
A personagem Jang Se Jin não tem amor proprio e e uma daqlas personagens que a gente pega ranço desde o começo .
Como eu já tinha começado o dorama não quis dropar então aos pouquinhos fui assistindo. Só tivemos final feliz nos 45 minutos do 2 tempo galera 😂😂😂
Não curti a Ost do dorama , e acho que se tivesse apenas 16 episódios seria perfeito com uma história boa sem enrolação… Parabéns pra nós guerreiras q fomos até o fim 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

CHATO TODA VIDA
Até começa bom, você vai se envolvendo na história e quer saber o que vai acontecer, porém é tanta enrolação na metade, depois da um gancho e te envolve de novo, mas agora nos 5 últimos episódios está só Deus na causa.é um povo chato falando sempre da mesma coisa, é a prota com cara de sofredora o tempo todo tentando perdoar por coisas absurdas com justificativas fracas, a mãe do prota manda ela entregar o bebe para o pai verdadeiro pq nunca vai perdoar ela, mas a protagonista chata continua constantemente pedindo perdão ate por uma agulha que caiu no chão e perdoando por absurdos. O pai da criança é um babaca e a prota simplesmente fica pedindo perdão e que ele deixe ela em paz, quando ela simplesmente poderia se posicionar e dizer um não.
Não recomendo para você que tem ansiedade assistir a esse drama chato e monótono. Você com certeza vai passar raiva

Veramente infinito e senza senso...
La trama di questa serie lascia intendere la classica commedia romance con i protagonisti che si ritrovano a vivere sotto lo stesso tetto dopo aver concordato una finta relazione. Clichè automatico di questo tema è il passaggio da una relazione contrattuale a una amorosa. Niente di nuovo, ma se fatto bene sempre apprezzabile. Spunto originale il fatto che la protagonista sia in dolce attesa dell'ex fidanzato fedifrago.A preoccuparmi fin dall'inizio, i ben 50 episodi da oltre un'ora l'uno. Difficile immaginare un drama con aspettative medie capace di reggere una durata così importante. A posteriori, la durata infinita è stata forse il colpo di grazia, ma la serie sarebbe naufragata lo stesso anche se gli episodi fossero stati anche solo un decimo.
Il vero problema è la sceneggiatura - un vero incubo - dove all'insensatezza della trama dalle azioni-reazioni puntualmente irreali si affianca anche la mania di grandezza di voler avviare un numero abnorme di questioni secondarie, mal gestite, mal risolte o proprio abbandonate a sè stesse in corso d'opera. Ne risulta una ragnatela che presenta fili traballanti e sfilacciati alternati ad aree aggrovigliate all'inverosimile, in una trama che non può essere sistemata se non ricostruendo la struttura da capo ma dove invece l'autore perservera nell'intrecciare nuovi e sgangherati fili nell'ottica di rendere il disegno - inguardabile - sempre più ampio.
L'insensatezza è talmente dilagante che è difficile individuare specifici passaggi incoerenti... di fatto la credibilità di quasi tutte le scelte è davvero discutibile. Difficile quindi giudicare la recitazione, perchè nemmeno un attore di elevato calibro può sfuggire allo scempio di una sceneggiatura che definire mediocre è quasi un complimento. Sicuramente il rapporto tra i protagonisti - dove non emerge il minimo affiatamento o chimica, al pari dello sviluppo lineare e graduale della relazione - paga inevitabilmente un alto prezzo.
Un drama, in conclusione, pensato e gestito davvero ma davvero male e - per di più - trascinato per una quantità infinita di episodi, l'ennesima tortura aggiuntiva per lo spettatore. Eliminabile dalla watchlist senza il minimo tentennamento.
