"Drama Shower" (ドラマシャワー) was an MBS time slot specialized in BL drama productions. The project was launched in April 2022 and it was originally a one-year limited project, but due to its success and popularity, MBS decided to renew it for another year. In March 2024 it was announced that My Strawberry Film would be the last installment of the time slot and that, as of April 2024, Drama Shower would be replaced by a new time slot called "Drama Fill". Drama Fill is a more generic time slot that includes non-BL series, as well (the first installment of Drama Fill is in fact the non-BL psychological thriller Ubawareta Bokutachi).

Drama Shower was a collaboration between MBS — the same broadcasting company as My Beautiful Man — and Tunku (トゥンク) — a new drama label established by KADOKAWA, which has many hit BL manga and novels under its belt. In Japanese "tunku" is an onomatopoeic word that suggests the sound of a pounding heart. The hope is that these BLs will take their viewers on an exciting journey, making their hearts beat.

Someone made a good point under one of my comments. Mr Unlucky started in April, and Paradox ends in the beginning of February. This slot was for a year, but I havent heard about another drama after Paradox. Do they have anything planned for that last ~2 months?

I did hear about The End of the World with You. I forgot it was a jdrama lol. Thanks for mentioning Suki Suki Wan Wan. Sounds like Choco Milk Shake. :D

since these air in january, they are not part of the drama shower, as it’s a time slot which only allows one drama at a time. Paradox doesnt end until Feb 3, so if there is another title (or maybe a period of behind the scenes/interview specials), it would start up that following week.

Brilliant - I thought end of the world with you / Bokura might be them but I think it's the same people who did Pornographer / Mood Indigo? 

Yes, and the director also worked on Given and Zettai BL. I really hope that Jack Frost will be as good as Eternal Yesterday. 

Oh btw! The other MBS BL series were all adapted from manga or novels, but Jack Frost will be their first original story!
