A fluffy and soft slice of life
I started watching while assuming that this series would be some kind of silly comedy, and to some extent it is - there's a lot about it that is mostly for comical relief and it would be unfair to say otherwise. What I believe makes this series so intriguing is the way the writers managed to put in good balance comedy, introspection, and romance. The plot of the story is pretty simple, and to be fair, at the beginning even the characters are. As the episodes go on, however, there's more and more that is revealed to the audience through dialogue and meaningful scenes about the characters and the relationships they have with each other. This method of unveiling the world of Cher and Gun was what caught my attention the most and made me want to watch more and more: I really felt like I was sinking deeper and deeper in the story. Multiple situations that seemed simple were revealed to be much more complicated than they might have looked at first, and the characters showed multiple facets of their personalities and lives little by little.
The romance between Cher and his Boss was truly sweet to watch as it developed. The two characters are very different, but it's also obvious how the two start growing fond of one another, and the way they seem to suit each other perfectly despite having very different lives was a huge satisfaction. The two actors have some solid chemistry and they are blatantly at ease and comfortable when they're together.
Something I didn't like as much about this series was the way some problems and situations were put aside without a proper conclusion (I don't want to spoil anything so I'll avoid mentioning anything in particular). I believe that leaving more room to show certain secondary characters and their lives better would have made the ending much more satisfying to me.
I can recommend this series to whoever is looking for something cute and sentimental, with themes that never get too stressful or heavy to watch.

This series should be relabeled as the Cher Series
This is a 'so-so' romcom BL. The story itself is a rather mundane one with versions of its basic theme done 10 zillion times before. Rich CEO falls in love with someone of less stature than him with everyone around him knowing that but trying to pretend that they are unaware. What makes this one more remarkable is Book Plookphol as Cher (Laem). He brings such life to a character that I have not seen in a long time. He has such a charismatic presence about him that comes through even with his smile. Was this review helpful to you?

LOVE IS WHAT MAKES YOU WANNA BE A BETTER PERSON
As what I have expected, This BL did not fail me ! I waited so so long for all the episodes to be aired so that I may binge watching this ! and I love love love it so so much, This will be added to my favorite and most memorable BL list !Aside that ForceBook is one of my favorite BL Ship, and that Force is one of my crush, This drama is so damn good ! like as what I have put in the headline of this review, as I finish watching it, that is the message of this drama, that if we are truly in love we always want to be a better person for the person we love, we give everything !
The lovey dovey moments is a five star ! like you will literally scream as you watch this couple , this is such a good vibes giver and I've had a good sleep because of this !
The kissing scene is on fire ! like you will be satisfied with it, not awkward great acting ! and speaking of great acting , I loved the acting of each of every character in this drama ! and Also P'Jack ! I always see him doing comedy things on GMMTV dramas but here his character is more serious than the usual more mature and I loved how he portrayed P'Jack ! and P'Gun also did a great job .. like He really looked matured and gentle here, and on the part where he had to cry to shout because he is angry.. He has given exactly as what is needed. everyone did a great job.
I loved the progression of the story, I commend GMMTV so much for this ! everything is just good in the eyes.
My favorite episodes is 8, 9 and 11 !! those were on fire like those were the momentum, and I really felt the emotion !
I hope Forcebook couple will have another BL as good as this in the future 🙏 I really stan them !
I am gonna re watch this again one day ! love it
2024-02-10
This is the second time I watched this drama and I think I will be re watching this again in the future, the reason is I really missed my Force Jiratchaping Srisang !! 🩵 so anyways even the fact that Force is my Bias, Im gonna give this an honest review, so here we go !
STORY
The story was common, and there are parts that was too unrealistic, and the closeness of Gun and Laem was too fast, I've seen here that Force and Book somehow cannot get out of who they are in real life , coz they maybe that close in real life that it was clearly seen in this show, that made it too unrealistic, on the contrary you will see that this show was not petty, coz as you watch it, you will see its direction, there is something more, it get quiet too good to be true in the beginning but the juice was given to my eyes all along, the story really began in the middle part and now that I have finished it, I realized that everything happened in the beginning contributed to the ending and I realized it was really good ! I was actually thinking why I gave tjis show a super high points the first time I watched it, and this was one of the reason! Besides that I so love Force. I was really touched by this drama once again, there are so many parts that I like about this show, it was not perfect but it will definitely leave a mark in your heart. Actually have a nice story line, with direction and easy to understand but bit unrealistic and some parts were off but still okay
ACTING
Compared to ForceBook acting on Enchante' there was so much improvement I've seen here, From the part where they were crying to shouting and facial expression, it was nice and the kiss looked more natural then Enchante. In some ways I am annoyed to Cher's Character, and Gun was a total green flag, he was not really bad here, the only reason why he was always moody and sulking was there was no one yet to make his life colorful ! But look ! He even bailed, Cher's brother from getting prisoned of 500k Baht ! In real life, no matter how rich I am, and even I love someone I would not spend a money like that to someone I barely know, but Gun has a good heart here for someone he loves, lucky Cher was ! I love P'Oi here , she is my favorite character ! And Mike I was so proud of him here that he has a mature role here unlike his past roles on GMMTV series where he had a comedian role , like not literally comedian but has a funny character but here he was mature, serious brother of Cher and he was actually great ! And yeah again super proud of Force, he was totally different here fron his real character, and when he shouted at Cher when someone gave the evidence of the game being them as a creator, I was amazed and felt everything ! Very good job !
VISUALS
I was crazy of force ! Like I literally shout all the time when Force was on screen like damn that camera man ! Why does they have to always show force's very handsome angles ?!? And his stylist OMG I wanna be their friends ! anyways enough of fan boying here. The visuals are great ! I liked the places or was that an effects ? Coz every places there seems had a blue light effect and I liked it so much ! All in all good job !
ALL IN ALL
I will not blame myself , coz this show is special to me , And it is because I am a fan of ForceBook as you can notice ! This show was not perfect but special in my heart. I was never wrong of re watching this that is why I rewatched it and will be re watching this again coz it is hard to move on to. I hope that Force Book will have another show and I hope It will be directed by P'Aof 😅 .. 'Aof ! Shout out to you ..
Yeah thats all ❤️

Loved every second of this show!
A Boss and a Babe presents the story of Gun, a CEO, and Cher, his intern, as they navigate a scandalous office romance. The show introduces us to a young and optimistic intern who joins a company and encounters an overbearing, rude, and despised boss. As Cher gradually chips away at Gun's tough exterior, their relationship becomes intertwined with scandal, and faces intense criticism for being inappropriate within the office setting.A Boss and a Babe offers a delightful blend of witty humor and energetic performances from the actors. It certainly doesn't hurt that Force is an attractive individual—I wouldn't mind having him as my boss (lol!). Although I came across some negative reviews regarding the storytelling and writing, I decided to give the show a chance. Some viewers expressed concerns about the boss making sexual advances toward an intern and the power dynamics at play in their relationship. However, after watching the series, I personally didn't find it to be a significant issue and felt that it actually contributed to the overall story.
My focus was primarily on the blossoming relationship between Cher and Gun, which evolved beyond the boundaries of a typical intern-CEO dynamic. They faced numerous challenges, encountered harsh criticism, and were made to feel as though they shouldn't be together. The show provides a refreshing twist on the enemies-to-lovers trope, complemented by witty humor and Cher's tendency to call out the clichés within the BL genre, which had me laughing and smiling throughout. I particularly enjoyed witnessing the progression of Cher and Gun's relationship in each episode, especially towards the end when Cher took charge of his own life to be with the person he loves.

An okay show that I got attached to (ESPECIALLY ThreeZo my bbs)
The show itself was okay, like the plot had a few plot holes and left a few arcs hanging BUT I really enjoyed myself somehow. I thought the characters and the cast really carried the show, that you just wanted to watch to see what happens next.It was overall a really fluffy show, but it had surprising dark themes that I wish they touched on a bit more. I also wanted a bit more exposition; I felt like we were dropped in the middle of a story in the beginning without much backstory.
But as I've said, the characters were really fun and each had their own colour. I used to not really pay attention to ForceBook, but I kind get them now, they're really fun to watch. I'm a new fan. Also shout out to the fluffy side couple ThreeZo, who made me cry every time they appeared on screen for some reason, so dang smol and cute. Wish FlukeOhm get their own show hehe.

This show was amazing
it really highlighted what actually goes on in a relationship and the actors perfectly suited each other. Their story was beautiful and it was by far one of the best 2023 BL shows. Their chemistry seemed so real and cute and their acting had no flaws. I would honestly rewatch this show 10 more times because this couple couldnt be any cuter. This show made me laugh so much. Cher was soo funny and so real. I initially had low expectations but after watching this show reminded me how amazing BL shows are.Was this review helpful to you?
Storyline
I truly am enjoying this series.. so glad that the friendship that Book and Force have in real life since kindergarten has continued on I do love the sweet chemistry between the two. I am glad Gmmtv has finally put them together. We need more. But the series has great stories and it is true wherever there are problems you can find a solution. All of the actors are doing a great job. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏 Side note the bedroom scene was happy it finally happened and they both admitted their love for each otherWas this review helpful to you?
Molto molto bello, consigliatissimo.

These two don't get along very well at first because they are polar opposites, things change when the student teaches him that everything can't be bad in life.
You have to take life with joy, can these two be together? Opposites attract, they say, right?

There both babes at this point
I truly loved this series, this is what I want from a BL.... being extremely wholesome with some drama and sad moments mixed in with that added spice that we all want.Forcebook is literally my whole grail, I love them so much and I need them in more series together, they have so much chemistry that its insane. Fluke and Ohm also had amazing chemistry together and I loved there characters, even when three kept getting upset they remained calm with each other.
I honest could've watched like 50 Episodes of this show and not get bored. We need more shows like this one, BL or not

I came for the suits, stayed for the... Well, mostly the suits.
Okay, so let’s get this out of the way: I love Force and Book’s real-life personalities. But their roles, acting and chemistry in this one? Ugh, not so much. I spent half the time squirming in second-hand embarrassment, and if this wasn’t on my watch list because of Our Skyy 2, I would’ve dropped it after the first episode. But hey, at least Force is very easy on the eyes. So, Cher lands an internship at a game company, and his boss is supposed to be this strict, scary guy. But after literally one day? The boss turns into a sweetheart because—get this—he watches Cher’s ASMR videos. Yes, you read that right. They go from zero to deep conversations and hugs within the span of 24 hours. It’s fast. Too fast.
Now, the show does throw some important stuff into the mix, like marriage equality (shoutout to Thailand for getting it right). Also some deep dark stuff like rape, drugs and homophobia. But it leads nowhere.
Here’s one thing—I usually despise the whole “wait 12 episodes for a single kiss” trope, but in this show, the characters start kissing so early that it doesn’t even make my heart flutter. There’s a lot of kissing, hugging, and touching, but it all feels like a checklist. It’s like, “Okay, we kissed. Now what?” And don’t get me wrong, they’re both ridiculously attractive, but even that can’t save this from feeling a bit…meh.
As for the plot? Ha. What plot? There’s like a whole bunch of stuff happening that doesn’t matter. You get to see Force in some fantastic suits, which, I’ll admit, is a solid reason to keep watching, but beyond that? Nada. Game competitions, spies, and random friend drama that barely makes a dent in the story. Oh, and don’t forget the annoying brat of an ex-friend’s little brother, who might as well be a walking “do not care” sign.
The characters keep saying “I love you” and “We’ll fight this together forever,” but Cher? He leaves Gun so many times for almost no reason, and every time he comes back, it’s like, “Oh. Okay. Cool. Whatever.” The big, dramatic reunions are just like a “meh” moment, and I’m over here wondering if I’m missing the emotional high point or if I’ve just been desensitized by too much drama.
Also, let’s talk about the subplots that don’t lead anywhere. Unresolved drug case? Rape? Tian’s death? They’re tossed in there like random seasoning, and I’m sitting here like, “Is this for real?” None of them really tie into the main plot, so they just feel like filler material.
