Just go watch it.

I was screaming the whole season. Not only do we get to see some of our favorite ships, but the acting is out of this world. They seriously outdid themsleves. Khaotung is an acting phenomenon and seeing with him First once again makes me sooooo happy. They kill it! You'll feel every emotion watching this. And its definitely NOT vanilla. The first "intimate" scene between khaotungs character (Ray) and Firsts character (sand) is so fire. The smoke... i mean..... 🤤 And we have to talk about Neos character (Boston) because ive never both hated and rooted for a character as much as i have here. He sucks but we are whipped for him anyway just like Marks character (Nick). Marks character earns so much merit in the show because we get it man lol. I mean First and Marks characters are our favorite masochists after all. And last but not least we get to see ForceBook once again and man is it chaotic lol. The character development in this show is wild. Especially with Khaotung and Books characters.

Messy but neat

This drama is intriguing showing different types of love and had me on a roller-coaster of emotions even ones I didn't know existed, asking me how unhappy it was finished

Sand is my favorite being a friend to Nick and actually giving good advice to him about love. He is so confident and so kind that people like Boeing took advantage of it hurting him. When he laughed I laughed. When he cried I cried wishing I could give him a hug. He is so relatable I saw myself at times. I have watched most dramas he is in and only like it because of him.
Ray didn't deverse him at all as he was so messy not fully understanding his emotions to the point he messed everything up and constantly was hurting the one that cares so much running back to mew as he was too attached

Nick, I saw so much of my time being hurt and cast off only seen as entertainment to be used. Hr is so innocent it crushed me that he blamed his friend(sand) because of the happiness he got from. He has great character growth realising just how much he is worth to end the toxicity of the relationship.
Boston clearly doesn't get enough love and attention from anyone making him a predator using anyone he can including his friends I hated what he made so many people put through but the end made me pity him as he messed up big time after being forgiven and wanted

Top and Mew is the couple I didn't like much making me skip most of their scenes together as they just dragged everything. Top I believe is so stupid to do the act then not trying to say anything as we all guessed it would come in the light. Mew, I get trust was broken but he was too cruel for Top that it took so many episodes to forgive

A rollercoaster of emotions

Was this the best bl I have ever watched? No. Did it have an innovative plot? No. Still, I was waiting for the end of the week just so I can watch how the story will unravel.
When I first watched the trailer I was really excited and this series didn't disappoint me at all. I enjoyed each and every episode and I'm definitely watching this again.
The actors we all know already are amazing but is seems that the took their acting to the next level for this one, especially First and Khaotung.
This may not be everyone's cup of tea. It's intense and toxic for sure but, for me at least, it was enjoyable and memorable.

If your friend group is like this..., LEAVE!!!

This show was such a delight to keep up with week after week. THE DRAMA?!?!?!?! It was sooo fucking good. The characters were messy and human, and above all, the story had meaning and a message in all the characters portrayed.

As for the couples -

1. SandRay were the best couple to me. Not only are FirstKhao pretty AF, but their chemistry is just beyond everything. Their acting, especially Khao, who had such emotional scenes, is top-tier. I love that they found their way to each other after all their trials and tribulations - mostly due to Ray and his drinking problem. I became a FirstKhao stan after this

2. TopMew - ForceBook were much better in this show than in 'A Boss and A Babe', especially Book's character. He was more mature. As for their story in this show, that's complicated. Cheating is something hard to get over, and I genuinely don't know how they'll deal with it.

3. TonNick - Who knew that NeoMark had such range? Anyway, I'm so happy that Nick finally chose to love himself over loving Boston, who never treasured or respected him as he deserved. My heart really broke for him in the last episode, but some lessons do need to be learned, albeit the hard way.
As for Boston, I feel the punishment was deserved. He spent all his time plotting against his friends and putting his selfish needs above all others. Finally, his selfishness left him with no one in his corner.

4. As for Cheum and April... They were kinda meh. And Cheum wasn't a good friend either, especially to Ray. She always favoured Mew more, and Ton wasn't even anywhere in her view.

5. Finally, Yo n Plug, I wish they had more of a role to play. I'd have loved to see their relationship dynamic and the inner workings of dating while trans or dating a trans character. Maybe someday trans characters will get better roles in BLs and not just like comedic relief or the random bar-owning friend.

6. As for Mix's appearance in the ending scene...interesting. Very interesting

If I had a dollar for how many times I've ranted and screamed at this show I would be rich.

If you're wondering how I rated this show a 9.5 with me rating the story a 7, it's because its captivating. This show made me invested in every single storyline. Sandray, topmew, bostonnick, cheumapril, even the bar owner and her boyfriend. It kept me coming back for more. Sure the story is messy, but it's ment to be messy. Sure the couples were toxic, but they're so interesting. Especially Sandray's story, I've writted over 3,000 words dedicated to them just with rants and theories. Firstkhaotung did so well into protraying them. Even though this show made me stressed every Saturday, I still adore this show.

Tanti traumi ma ne vale la pena

Sicuramente se cerchi un BL tranquillo questo non fa per te.
La storia in sé è bellissima e spiegata bene in ogni minimo dettaglio, le problematiche dei personaggi non vengono prese in maniera leggera e sono realistiche.
Gli attori dei veri talenti, uno migliore dell'altro, certe scene fanno davvero emozionare, e la loro capacità di farti odiare e amare i personaggi da un episodio all'altro è stupefacente.
Consiglio davvero questo drama solo se si ha il tempo e la testa per vederlo, se non si sta attenti davvero e se non si ha voglia ci si perde davvero tutto e non si capisce più nulla.

Amazing show !

Before starting this show I’d been in a BL funk and hadn’t seen a single show that interested me but as soon as Only Friends came out that show RIPPED ME OUT OF MY GRAVE. The characters are so beautifully and psychologically written it’s such a powerful show. It’s dramatic, sluttish, attention attracting and I just wanted to yell and cry at all of the characters I LOVED IT! I would desperately wait weekly for the next episode. However I wish we got to know how they became friends. There were some issues that felt incomplete but the whole show was amazing apart from that.

The actors were ALL putting their best in and every little details, every little improv fit so well with their characters. I know they’ve said before that these roles were intense and strained them but they all pulled it off and really showed their amazing acting range. Well done.

When BL meets Lakorn!

3 Couples = 3x passion, 3x sweetness, but also 3x the pain!!

It's a hot mess with a sweet ending, somewhat. I mean, we even have Ray going to rehab, that's some positive influence here!

Here's my 3 favorite couples in descending order

1. SandRay

I came here for TopMew but fell so hard for SandRay, especially for Sand. He is mature, charismatic and just a really cool guy. The way he melts each time Ray goes "Na..na...na...", oh so sweet. Gradually, I fell for Ray too. He might be a hot mess, but boy did he know who he wants. I especially love when he got Sand to kiss Boeing. What a daring suave bf. I also love the reference made to "Begin Again", reminded me of Theory of Love.

2. TonNick

My heart breaks 100x for Nick, but I am SO proud of him for choosing himself in the end, even though it took him 12 episodes lol... Sure, Ton probably won the biggest dickhead award here, but I guess he has been real in a way. TonNick might not be the healthiest couple here but I've loved their passion and chemistry since beginning. Its hot af, and I feel they really get along well, its just the past wounds stopping Ton from being able to commit.

3. TopMew

It's very hard for me to watch them for the 1st half of the show because I knew that Top cheated. That hurts me each time I see them loving on screen, so I ended up skipping most of their scenes. Also, their story is too complicated for my liking, and I became more invested in SandRay in the end.

Overall, it feels more like Lakorn with all the emotional rollercoaster.

This is one of rare shows where I don't want a S2, because I don't think my heart can take another round of beating lol

This is the longest review I've written, thats how much feelings have been stirred!

So much emotions

Ok so there's actually so much to say about this show, the acting was great, the story was good, the characters were all a mess in their own way but it played out well so I would like to talk about each couple here and share my opinion on them. I want to start with Mew and Top, this might be controversial but I did not like their relationship, like it made me so mad and honestly I don't even know why. I think because I didn't like Tops character and I didn't like Mew's that much either. Top was a player and honestly what he did in my opinion is not as easily forgivable as he was forgiven, I feel like he should've worked harder for it like he barely did anything he just did bare minimum of what a loyal boyfriend should act like but i guess that was enough to make Mew realize he was worth given a second chance, though i do believe in second chances i feel like there was something off from that relationship in general, it felt empty and dull. While Mew, i did not like his character that much, he was all over the place and so confusing but maybe that's what made Mew and Top perfect for each other. Anyway, overall not the worst relationship and with this i will talk about the worst one so far and that's Ton and Nick. O M G it was so bad, like Ton is just a horrible person and he's not gonna change, at the end of the show i thought he might have changed for Nick but that was obviously too good to be true, he definitely just like the attention he gets from sleeping around and should not be a person that commits to anything serious, though i somehow see a potential for improvement there i doubt it will be easily attainable if he doesn't have the right mindset and will to change. While Nick, poor guy, he just fell for a asshole. Though i cant blame him for falling for Ton, he should've not gone back to him like he did even though he had a good guy that he could've had a chance with based on what we saw. But love is blind and i get that so i cant blame him much, he just wanted a caring relationship and being loved by Ton but that was something truly impossible. I love his character though and wish him happiness. Next is April and Chueam, we didn't get to see much of their relationship so there isn't much to say. Overall they seem to have a pretty healthy relationship, they seem like the type to be able to communicate things and improve their relationship for the better, even though the only conflict they had together was in the beginning when April got told about how Chueam talks about April and her films and stuff. But it was a small conflict, nothing major. Overall a cute relationship and definitely wanted to know more about them. Next, Yo and Plug. Nothing much to say about them, another couple we barely got to see much. They also had their issues but later was resolved, once again nothing major. Their relationship was cute and i loved the representation not just with them but with the other couples as well. Lastly, best for last. Sand and Ray, might be a little biased because i love those 2 so much in all the shows they are together but so far was my favorite relationship, they actually communicated, they had so much chemistry (but they lowkey always do in every show), they improved together, they weren't super toxic for each other and eventually any toxicness cancelled out and they were perfect for each other. Now I'm not going to deny that at first Ray was an asshole to Sand and lowkey Sand didn't deserve him at all in the beginning, i got so mad when he would help Ray even though Ray would be such an ass to him. But it worked out in the end because Ray had so much potential to be a good lover, he was just stuck up on Mew and had a drinking and drug problem plus he also hated his life which all combined caused him to be this way, but you can tell from the start he was a good person he just needed to find someone to give him that push (Sand) into a better direction. Overall, great show. I enjoyed it a lot and i liked how each relationship had their own issues and conflicts that slowly got solved in their own pace and way. Anyway, the guy that appeared in the last episode is so FINE, and omg you can tell it was about to go down after that haha i would like to see that.

Loved it from the beginning

I usually don't write reviews but this time I had to.

I love this series. The last 2 episodes felt rushed a little but besides that? I absolutely fell for it.

Sand and Ray relationship was portrayed perfect. Mew's feelings for Top and Boston showed that people may feel differently about the same situation towards different people. Boeing and Atom felt out of place, theirs plots wasn't nessesary and only messed up for nothing majorly important. I'm twisted about Boston and Nick break up. I felt sorry for Boston and happy for Nick at the same time - Neo and Mark portrayed them ideally. I almost forgot about Dan's existence at the end, the same case as Atom and Boeing.

The ending - great, but I miss Nick. He should have some closure, maybe they should show us how his work was going? And Boston - I hoped we would see him as a photographer in New York for only a few seconds. I'm waiting for an announcement about new series in this universe! I'm 100% sure that Mix appeared for a reason.

Music was absolutely great, period. From Let's try to Night Love - I loved it. And Sand's recommendations - I added many songs to my playlist after that.
