Could have been better ?
The opening was great- very promising storyline, actors were good.. then in the middle it got rather melodramatic, going in circles.. then the last two episodes were just boring. Mediocre ending. Yep, that’s it.The FL seemed like a pretty good actress at the start, and her character was strong and assertive. But the chemistry between her and Ji Han was somewhat lacking .. and their kiss was a little cringe to watch hahaha. Her character development was just dull and mundane towards the end. I found her family annoying too.
The ML is quite cute, I predict he will have more lead roles and do well in the future ;)

A budget wedding........ Still GOOD though!
I enjoyed this drama a lot! This was light and fun but had its serious moments. It's cliche filled plot isn't for everyone and it for the most part was very predictable on how it will playout. And although I wasn't completely satisfied on how the other side plots ended I was very glad I watched this drama. All the actors were great in their roles and the OST for this drama is fantastic! The chemistry between the leads were great and I wish they had more scenes where they slowly fall for each other.
The family characters on the side of Do Han and Ji Han I felt were a bit underwhelming in a sense that the drama could have flushed out their characters more instead of being an archetype.
my main gripe with this drama is that the story had the potential to be great and interesting but ended up being typical and overlooked. Yes the Romance was great as it is but IMO its what the main characters go through is what separates good dramas from memorable ones. The main conflict/political elements in this drama I found were interesting but the show just dipped their toes in it but never swam into the idea.
Although the show was only 12 episodes long the pacing was good and at times too fast. A part of me feels that the show was supposed to be 16 episodes long as there was a lot more things that could have been flushed out.
I think the show is better than what the majority of people on MDL reviewed it as. If you watched the trailer and are intrigued by it then give it a shot as its only 12 episodes. Don't expect anything deep here though as it is for the most part very light.
I wanted MORE from this drama and it had all the tools to be more. In the end I'm satisfied with it but don't expect too much.
This review comes off more negative than my intention BUT Definitely watch this if you enjoyed the trailer or are a fan of the actors! :)

From witty banter to hilarious misunderstandings, the comedic elements of "Wedding Impossible" add depth and charm to the storyline, enhancing my overall viewing experience. The chemistry between the characters shines through not only in heartfelt moments but also in playful exchanges that elicit genuine laughter from the audience. The dynamics between Ah Jeong and Do Han, portrayed with palpable chemistry, offer a refreshing take on the trope of a fake marriage. As Ah Jeong steps into the role of Do Han's wife to appease his family, their bond evolves organically, blurring the lines between fiction and reality.
However, the plot thickens with the arrival of Lee Ji Han, Do Han's ambitious younger brother, portrayed with nuance by the handsome Moon Sang Min. Ji Han's machinations to secure his brother's position as the LJ Group's successor add a layer of tension and intrigue to the narrative. His efforts to thwart Do Han's wedding, coupled with the introduction of Yoon Chae Won, inject unpredictability into the storyline, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.
While "Wedding Impossible" initially captivated me with its promising beginning and engaging storyline, it's unfortunate that the momentum falters towards the middle of the 12-episode drama. Despite its comedic charm and entertaining moments, I found myself gradually losing interest as the story progresses.
One notable drawback of the series lies in its handling of Do Han's character arc. The introduction of Do Han's sexuality could have served as a compelling catalyst for character development, shedding light on the internal struggles and external pressures he faces. However, the story regrettably sidelines this crucial aspect of his identity, failing to delve deeper into his personal journey and the challenges he encounters as a gay man in a traditional and unforgiving environment.
Overall it was definietly a goodwatch. It was fun and entertaining. That's it.

the romcom was romcom-ing, until it didn't
the show began so well, with great characters and storylines but they lost everything in the middle.this premise of the drama is fascinating, a rich boy trying to hide his sexuality seeks help from his best friend, they get into a fake marriage, his brother opposes and in his effort to stop the marriage he falls in love with his fake sis in-law.
first of all do-han didn't even feel like a main character, he was barely there on the screen and when he was there the same situations happened. they didn't dive into his issues and insecurities even though he is a major character. he also didn't feel like a-jung's best friend. for such great friends they barely hung out.
jihan and a-jung's chemistry in the first episodes were great, amazing i would say. they had great banter and good chemistry, a good combo for enemies to lovers and a forbidden love trope. even the angst was there. but once they got together, everything was lost. they became so lovey-dovey and didn't disagree on anything. the spark was lost. i still don't understand why they broke up after giving everything up.
there was a lot of lost funny moments. jihan finding out that dohan was gay could have been a really funny moment but they made it so dramatic. jihan could have been worrying so much abt the heartbreak a-jung will have if she found out- musters the courage to say it- and ajung being like 'yeah ik'. it would have been so fun given ajung idgaf attitude.
all the side plots were so boring and unnecessary, so much build-up for the mom's death for the big reveal to be the fact that the father is involved.
so this can be added to the list of dramas that could have been great

A taken for granted lead
I have watched the drama fully. It is quite fun to watch—unique, somewhere newer in this genre, good and enjoyable overall—but there are some things to point out.The most glaring thing about the drama is how it largely downplays the sacrifices of the ML (that little brother) and the things he did over the years.
I mean, first of all, where do I begin? Let’s start with his sacrifices. He graciously sacrifices his first love in the drama to marry for his brother and doesn’t even complain about it. He can do anything for his brother.
Now, the second thing is what he bears over the years in his personal life. The brother and the sister clearly hate him from the bottom of their hearts—like, if killing were not illegal, they would kill him instantly. And the so-called stepfather calls him trash abuses him in any meeting. This shows what he has endured all this time. He even begs on his knees to his sister not to release the photos.
The third thing is about his professional life. He is a bottom-tier worker in the company, but somewhere he doesn’t care at all. He is hardworking and diligent, trying to make his brother the president.
Now, the president part—this is the most prominent one in the whole drama. He wanted to make his brother president instead of himself from start to end, and they never acknowledge why he wants to do that. The closest they get is asking him why he doesn’t want it, and he answers that “he doesn’t deserve it.” But nobody goes deeper into why he doesn’t deserve it infect like they doesn't care at all.
The trauma of his mother is also not resolved. They show that he has trauma during rainy nights, but they never show it later or resolve it or proper conversation about it. They just wave off the fact.
They never show closure with the sisters and the brother. I mean, he was the main character, and they never sort those things out.
Look, what I said is not that for our understanding these things as a viewer. But more than knowing, as a viewer, I wanted to see how the other characters—like the female lead and others—reacted to those topics. That is what the show fails to deliver, which is disappointing. These are not small sacrifices—they could have had a much bigger impact on the other characters, but the show downplays the whole thing.
Actually, more than other characters, his own brother—for whom he is doing everything—and the FL, how they treat him is somewhere disappointing and borderline painful to watch. I mean, the scenes where he was so conflicted and in a dilemma about his feelings toward the FL, knowing she would be his sister-in-law—but they never told him anything about the truth about the marriage and let him suffer. In fact, they never told him anything. Everything he finds out happens by accident—like his brother’s secret or the sham marriage. All of it. That felt really bad for him. But in the end he choose to forgive them.
Now talking about the other characters—somewhere, this is the worst elder brother character I have ever seen. He is the most selfish character I have seen till now in any drama. He doesn’t care about anything; he only cares about himself, and he can do anything to protect that. I understand his sexual orientation and all, but that doesn’t mean the character needs to be selfish. There are many ways to handle that. At first, he lives abroad and doesn’t care what is happening here. His only brother is suffering here, and he leaves him alone, knowing he has nobody. He accuses his brother of spying on him. And the main thing is—he just wants to get this marriage done and go back to NY. I mean, why come here at all if he doesn’t care about anyone? Yes, he acknowledges his truth at the end, but does it really mattered at that time the damage is already done. He has already gone, and what does he do after that? He goes back to NY again—runs off. He is so unaware of everything that it becomes annoying.
Now about the female lead—at first, I didn’t understand what her plan was and how she was explaining it. I understand that her plan was to get into a sham marriage and go to NY, but the way she explained it was ridiculous. What was that explanation about “wanting to be cast as a main lead”? Is this her life or a drama? I’m sorry, but I didn’t understand this at all. If her dream is to be an actress, then how will living in NY and getting divorced help her? And what so-called acting was she going to do there? Somewhere, she was also as ignorant as the brother. More to say, she knows everything but still acts the same—that is ridiculous.
Frankly speaking, I have watched several dramas in this genre, but till now, only in this drama I genuinely felt that if the ML (the brother) had married the second female lead, it would have been better and more satisfying for me. I would have been happy. At least she would have treated and valued him well, and he would have gotten the recognition he deserved—maybe both personally and professionally. Let those two fools play their so-called marriage game.
Now, apart from this, they didn’t clarify the past history of the family either, but that didn’t really impact the story much, so I can understand that somewhere.
Final Thoughts
In spite of having everything the drama somewhere slightly failed where it mattered: acknowledging its own main character.
In the end, I know it may sound childish to say this, but how the FL treated him after the time gap initially actually shows the whole story of how the show treated him as a character overall—somewhere, he was taken for granted.

Drama with a warm ending ig
I would conclude this review in short. How many of you have watched business proposal? Mostly many people... We all anticipated a very good and a detailed ending in business proposal , we really wanted more. Wedding impossible was a drama tbh which I won't rewatch it this year at least maybe many years later or so . It was good how in 12 episodes everything was wrapped up beautifully. It was a heartwarming drama to realise friendship, your own future goals and priority . Some dramas aren't really wrapped up so beautifully I liked the way how in last 2 episodes everyone had a character development , a sense of responsibility etc. There was not any bitter jealousy love triangle which dragged the episodes for a fiery revenge . 'Moving on' This drama taught us to not to hold onto something tightly let it go , move on etc. Some plots were overlapping like contract marriage, mother died in rain and the son still suffers in rain of that memory , sometimes we really can't help the plots to be overlapped because every drama now and then have them.. What I felt is I got a good ending how I wanted how everyone achieved whatever they wanted in the end . So concluding it with a good note , watch it once, just go with the flow of drama Its a good drama with many heartwarming scenes even though the chemistry lacked between the main leads. Was this review helpful to you?
Even clichés can be well written and enjoyable to watch
As cliché a story as this is, it has its' golden pieces, mostly because there is some interesting character development among most of the characters. I especially love both FLs and the ML (Lee Ji Han).-Na Ah Jung is so assertive, with a "no f*cks given" attitude most of the time, but whenever a situation calls for accountability, she takes it. That is quite a turn-on.
-Yoon Chae Won, in my opinion, is not yet fully fleshed out; however, at present, she is a well-liked character who has a strong backbone. I hope to see her flourish in the upcoming episodes.
-Lee Ji Han is so cute, caring, and sometimes smothering. I love the dynamic between him and Na Ah Jung; she always calls out his bullshit and childish behaviours, which allows him to grow mentally and emotionally.
-The character I currently care about the least is Lee Do Han. I understand that his secret is the whole premise of the show, but unfortunately, him not acknowledging himself in front of his brother makes him look... pathetic. I can only hope that his arc gets better in the future.

i was expecting for it to be bad but...
from the first episode i was intrigued by this both ML, i kinda hoped that both of them would like the FL but it turned out, that dohan was gay. i literally see no reason for dohan and ah jung to be together, like he just wants to drop everything and leave, he doesnt even want to inherit LJ so why this stupid marriage??? idk what will happen in the next 4 eps but i have a bad feeling about this all and im also rooting for ah jung and ji han so if this two wont end up together i'll be so mad. ok lets just wait and see how it actually ends..Was this review helpful to you?

Great as an in-between watch, classic romcom, p cute!!!
UPDATE: Ok so after completing it, I will say I may have exaggerated my love for this kdrama (my jaded review was made after a confession scene...so sue me if i gave a 10/10 rating then lol. "that was crazy, i've never actually experienced that sort of atmosphere before, it's absolutely electric, the passion" BUT having watched it fully now, I really think the 2nd half was not as charming as the first. It is your classic romcom, I love that, but I just don't know how I feel about tying up loose ends in the very last ep. The jump was a tad jarring and the reunion didn't necessarily pay off in my opinion. Also just a personal note, I understand the need for lesser episodes for less filler but I get pretty irked when the resolution feels rushed for all of the characters in the last episode. If the main climax of the conflict takes so many eps to build up, I feel like the resolution can also take a few episodes. Idk it might just be me. Anyhow, the acting from Jeon Jung Seo was impeccable throughout the show I will say. Her body language & expressions make her character feel so realistic, its insane! I'll def keep an eye out on these actors. The ML is super cute and even the addition of Yoon Chae Won was also great! Also, I never read the webtoon so I'm not sure how it compares besides Yoon Chae Won's addition to the cast. Overall, cute drama, covers all the elements for an angsty, contract marriage-ish trope (more like forced proximity in the drama) so its great as an in between drama. Not too serious, I like the humor kind of reminds me of Business Proposal. Additionally, it has one of my favorite OST's in a long time. Every song, from the main theme to just little piano medleys in pivotal scenes, was enough to fully immerse me into the show. I almost teared up at a point because the soundtrack was so beautiful. I recommend it! And I hope the actors show up in more dramas like it! (:I am in awe of the writing of the characters and the actors executions of them. I've been watching kdramas for a LOOOOONG time, and this one is one where I really feel like the writers took the time to outline and get the audience to truly understand the characters.
The characters motivations being conveyed to audiences so clearly drives the plot and creates scenarios seamlessly. I've been a huge fan on Jung jun Seo since "The Call" so I'm glad I get to see her in a romcom! I hope to see a lot more of her in this genre, she suits it amazingly well. Her quirkiness isn't overplayed in my opinion, and like I said earlier, because her motivations are clear from the beginning, she doesn't fall into the annoying FL trope that can often happen in romcoms. Even though the genre is on the less serious side, it still does keep me on edge and even puts me in the precarious situation the characters find themselves in. The situation is so well thought out, I wouldn't say its too predicable. I may also be a tad bias, contractual marriage tropes are my favorite, but I'm glad it's not too on the nose. The OST during scenes brings me back to the charm of older kdramas so I would give this a chance! The main casts acting is also 10/10, along with the writing so do yourself a favor and watch this drama! I have a feeling I'll be re watching this often! I watched Marry My Husband and had I known this gem was following I would've watched it right way. I binged the first 8 eps in 2 days, and I tend to enjoy waiting more than binging. Overall, acting is amazing and it's because of the amazing writing. it's not too cringe, it truly does feel like I'm watching real people make decisions so please watch! I hope to see Moon Sang Min & Kim Do Wan in projects soon too bc I WILL be following! (:

An objectively a good k-drama
I have been reading all the comment reviews about this drama based on recent episodes and I kind of disagree with the ones hating on the storyline and the drama itself. Personally, I believe this might be one of the top kdramas this year so far.Let's start with the story's pace: compared to other people, the pace of the storyline and episodes is good! If they had made it a 14 or 16-episode drama, it would've lost its ratings easily. They gave a maximum of 1/2 episode of their romance, which is fine with me.
Next, "Dohan is being selfish" Yes he was being selfish but I began liking him at ep10 when he has that moment of self-realization and he steps in to defend them both, but their grandpa stops him (the press conference).
For me, the characters are well-made but yes maybe because they're rushing it so it makes us, viewers, feel uncomfortable with how the story is turning out

The Bonding Between All The Characters Are Really Good
It was really enjoyable to watch, i loved Do Han And A Jong's friendship. The ml and fl chemistry is good, the ending is best. The 4 cameos are just Cherry on the top! I like A jung most in this drama. Her character was really matured From the beginning. Glad Dohan try to look for others than himself, except that, i like him even more than Ji HanWas this review helpful to you?
The Com runs out long before the Rom
I thought I'd found something entertaining and amusing. Something that might actually be a rom com. I made it as far as episode 8 before I figured out that this script was going nowhere interesting and that I was not invested in any of the characters. Halfway through I thought I could make it work if I treated it as a farce so I tried to enjoy it as such. It devolved into a pointless, ordinary drama. This was not what I was promised. It was less about hijinks and more of a joke at the expense of my time.Maybe I could have made it until the end but I really hated what they did to the FL. I liked Jeon Jong Seo a lot in the beginning. I love that she has that touch of RBF to make her look like a woman you'd regret messing with. But then her character went from hustling underdog to being hated by everyone as she was tossed around by a pair of rich kids. It doesn't matter whether their intentions are romantic or not. She comes out of it looking like some chaebol plaything from a past that we'd like to forget.
Dropped and pass.
