4 episodes to go, time for some speculating...

I'm loving this series! Its so opulent to watch and we can supspend reality for a while each week to get lost in the fantastical lives of fictional royals. We get a front row seat to the central story, but what about the underlying mysteries that are only hinted at, but undercurrent the plot? Like, who is the mystery spy for Rachata in the palace? My money is on Wirun, the king's butler. He's the only one who makes sense in the narrative: he's high up enough in the staff hierarchy to know everything thats going on, and trusted enough not to be questioned. Also, I'm getting the impression that there might have been something going on between Thatdanai and Tharin, and the king's decision to send Khanin away with Thatdanai as a baby wasn't just because he was part of the trusted inner circle. Tharin says explicitly when they are eating together that Thatdanai had taught him to make that dish and somehow he'd known that Thatdanai would have been making it for Khanin too? Like it was his specialty? Why would a guard be teaching a prince how to cook, unless they had a much closer relationship than they were supposed to? I could be way off, and Thatdanai could have trained as a chef before becoming a guard for all we know - the same way Charan became an Art Professor at his family's university before he was recalled to duty to retrieve Khanin. For anyone who thinks I'm reading way too much into this, I'm a writer, so my brain is hardwired to notice details like this. Is anyone else thinking along the same lines, or is it just me?

Ep no one cares abpout... and yet we got it. Hurray! 🥳

Trust me.How are we supposed to trust you?Trust me. At worst, I’m just gonna get rid of the king — my grandpapa — no one wants him in this show anyway (except me, of course, I haven't read much of that... text, but I know my puppy is just hashtagMissundaztood, ňaf). And I’ll become the (keeper of clean air, but most importantly) tyrant and the king of this show… ehm, land.EMMALY, GOOOO!How to put this… this is a great example — a textbook case — of how idealism killed action.Really? If you really think so, why are you standing here doing nonsensical training to become king, instead of actually doing something? So: really, aye?…This is part of the reason why this oversweetened idealism doesn’t work in romantic shows or dramas. It’s just stupid. Stupid acting, stupid writing, stupid situations, stupid behavior… even though the idea was unquestionably nice.At its core. But really?TRUST ME, WHY DO YOU ASK?!!! AM I NOT SPEAKING RIGHT NOW? WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT MY ACTIONS AND NOT AT MY WORDS? AM I NOT (15th in a row) OF THE GREATEST IMPORTANCE TO THIS COUNTRY? AM I NOT HERE RIGHT NOW, STANDING, SHAKING, NEARLY CRYING (because that is what I do best — proven in episodes 1 to 3, and occasional occurrences after)? JUST TRUST MEEEEEE!!!! WHY DOES NO ONE TRUST MEEEE? 😭😭😭😭And now... move aside. We are doing tradition here. You’re in our way. 😈

Episode 10 of The Next Prince was a cinematic triumph.

NuNew as Khanin was absolutely exceptional. He delivered a performance filled with nuance, vulnerability, and quiet strength. From his internal struggles to his unspoken love, every expression felt raw and real. He carried the weight of Khanin’s heart with such grace that it was impossible not to feel every beat of his journey.Charan, played with a phenomenal presence and quiet brilliance, once again left us breathless. His restraint, his silences, and the depth in his gaze said everything his words couldn’t. The character remains a pillar of emotional gravity, and this episode allowed us to see his layers unfolding with powerful subtlety.Together, Khanin and Charan's chemistry was off the charts — a masterclass in slow-burn storytelling. Every glance, every pause between them was loaded with tension, longing, and a sense of unspoken history. Their scenes in the art room were particularly moving, filled with aching tenderness and quiet intensity that left a lasting impression. The episode was elevated even further by the incredible supporting cast. Every character brought life to the story, adding depth, humor, and heart. It never felt like a moment was wasted — each subplot and side character served a purpose and added richness to the overall narrative. The cinematography was nothing short of stunning. Every frame was meticulously composed, creating a visual language that spoke just as loudly as the dialogue. The lighting, the color palette, and the framing all worked together to immerse us in the emotional world of the characters. And of course, the background music was perfectly scored, amplifying the emotional beats without overpowering the storytelling. It was subtle yet powerful, enhancing the mood and guiding the audience through every emotional turn. All in all, Episode 10 stands out as one of the most beautifully executed episodes so far — a perfect blend of storytelling, performance, and production excellence. You can feel the love and dedication of the entire team behind every moment.Bravo to the cast and crew of The Next Prince — this is storytelling at its finest.

Art room

Khanin with his voice and the tone of his speech managed to cool down the protesters. Now he has a stronger reason to win the challenge. It will be the way to gain power and do the right changes. As per the Art Room it was very romantic and beautiful.
