SO good! I got literal chills watching this episode! I loved Meng Zi Yi in Love in Pavilion but hadn't seen anything else by her. Glad I decided to check this out. Everything is so beautifully shot, and the chemistry between the leads is so swoonworthy.

This is the way to start a series. Goosebumps all throughout, and i was glued to the screen. The costumes and the settings are so beautiful.

The color theme, the effects, the backgrounds... everything is so mesmerizing omg. About the story, I am sold! I love how hard working and smart the female lead is too.

It's such a good beginning. His killing aura, and the way he carries himself. I think I might fall in love with not just the characters but the actors too. Song Mo is iconic. Both didn't have much luck in life. One was ill, the other was poisoned, both didn't have much time left, but they are fated to be with eachother according to Yuan Tong (was this his name?) and when at the brink of death, before she knew it she was back in time in her childhood. Now that's she's back, the revenge will be served. I like how she says that past can't be changed but future can still be made.

I watched the first episode. Wow! It exceeded my expectations. In the first 15 minutes, I was bored and thought I couldn't watch it. But then the story started to get more engaging. Since my time is limited, I can only watch one episode a day. Now let's review the first episode:I noticed the actor who plays Song Mo (Li Yun Rui) for the first time (I think I saw him in a supporting role in another drama before, but I don't remember). He is very handsome and has a stern face, perfect for the role of Song Mo. Dou Zhao (Meng ZiYi) is both strong and considerate. This is the kind of female character I look for the most in dramas. Meng ZiYi (Song Mo) was already on my radar. I always wanted to watch one of her dramas. The release of Blossom was great timing. I had previously mentioned MZY in one of my articles.Wei Ting Yue (Li Xin Ze) is a very despicable character. I can't wait for him to die. Li Xin Ze (Wei Ting Yue) also plays a supporting role in the Brocade Odyssey drama

beautiful costumes,filming sets. BUT I dislike it a lot when they TELL viewers gen.story details from characters' mouth. Just SHOW me instead of telling I dont even ask for longer eps just 1 ep should be enough for that...

I didn't expect much from ML&FL since I've watched quite a few of their dramas in the past. They both have great chemistry and I like strong FL how she performs. And Oh Boy Oh Boy, Ml is super handsome and strong performance! Such a great start!

An incredible feat of an first episode that sets up the dynamic and personalities of the leads, the conspiracies that affect them, and how a twist of fate will give them a chance to save themselves and their loved ones. At the hands of this director, everything is well-paced and elevated and emotional and beautiful. Nothing feels wasted. I'm invested.
