The Glory – 10/10
This drama had me hooked from start to finish. The revenge? Absolutely satisfying. Every single thing was planned so well, and I loved how calculated and patient Dong-eun was. She didn’t just want revenge—she wanted justice, and she made sure they felt every bit of what they did to her. Slow, painful, and absolutely deserved.Every character had depth, and even the villains were so well-written that I hated them with my whole soul. Yeon-jin? Pure evil, but an amazing character. Every time she got cornered, I felt pure satisfaction. And don’t even get me started on Jae Jun and Sa Ra—I was counting down the seconds until they got what was coming to them.
But what really stuck with me was Yeo Jung’s revenge. His pain was just as deep as Dong-eun’s, and the way he stayed by her side, waiting for his turn, was insane. He was sweet, kind, and gentle with her, but when it came to his own revenge, you could see how dark and broken he was. And I loved that. I just wish we got to see more. His revenge had so much buildup, and while it was satisfying, I needed another season to see him fully unleash all of that rage.
The cinematography, the OST, the acting— all top-tier. Song Hye-kyo and Lee Do-hyun were incredible. Their dynamic was so well done because it wasn’t just romance—it was two broken people choosing each other and walking through hell together.
I just wish we had gotten one more season to fully see Yeo-jung’s revenge play out. He deserved that closure just as much as Dong-eun. But even with that, this was one of the best revenge dramas ever.

As expected I didn't quite get all the details after having that forced break from part I. But I remembered enough to get into the story again. Thank god.
And I still love the whole story. The concept, the storytelling, everything was well planned, well written and played out almost perfectly. I loved the methods the FL used to get her revenge, the people she approached, the way she made them dance at her tune and how everything was slowly unraveled. The characters were well crafted and every actor/actress did a great job with their performing, because it made the story so much more enjoyable.
I don't know why but the husband got some special attention from me. I just wanted to hug him all the time. At the same time he had a strong demeanour which attracted me quite alot, and it only slowly crumbled piece by piece. I really liked his encounters with the FL and it's a pity, that he didn't get more screentime. The only thing I couldn't agree with was his last act. That just didn't fit his character and would have been better to be left out.
The ML was also some interesting character. Being the headsman of the FL worked well despite his bright personality most of the time. Though I do think that the actor could have put some more darkness into his ego, make him more branded. The one thing I couldn't comprehend at all was the love story. It felt forced, I didn't feel the passion. Every bit of intimacy felt out of place, even though I liked the concept of them supporting and using each other.
Definitely something worth re-watching.

Such a thrilling show,
This is my first ever review on this website and i highly recommend the glory to anybody who loves revenge, mystery and thriller. I was very hesitant about watching this show and i would forget my memory to watch it again. This show kept me hooked till the very end. I love how the villains's lives were also portraited as much as the main leads lives. Two of the villains specifically had amazing chemistry and i would love to see them again in another show. Also the romance was kept minimal which i appreciate very much. Song hye kyo and lim ji yeon killed here. I've become a huge fan of them. However i must say this show was a bit confusing at times for example some scenes didnt give proper answers to the previous ones and some questions were kept unanswered. If you get scared easily and bullying/ violence is not your thing then i would say this show might not be for you but overall i think its a beautifully produced and directed show even though i think it would've been better if the main fl punished her bullies with her own hands.
If you want to watch this show or have been thinking about watching it then trust me go watch it rn you wont regret it at all. Its the perfect time to watch the glory now as its November and the glory goes so well wih this weather.
Thanks for reading my review. I hope this helped make up your mind. Have a wondeful day bye ♡

The Glory: 5/18/2024 ~ 5/30/2024
I know this show was separated into two parts but because of the time when I watched it I consider it as a whole since it does not have separate seasons. The story itself was something that I had never watched before so I went in not really knowing what to expect, minus the fact that people really liked the show. After watching it can see why since I also love the show as well. The FL was simply a badass and did not wavier when it came to take her revenge which is something I really like. It not only the fact that she didn’t wavier but stuck to what she planned to do, making sure they all felt the world around them crumble. The thing I loved however the most was the fact that while there was romance they did not try to make it a key point but instead a very minor point, and also it was not pointless. It wasn’t like she fell in love and took out her revenge separately but instead the ML stood by her side and helped take her revenge. Which as twisted as it sounds made their love story all the better even though it was barely shown. Now on to the heavier topic which is the bullying it talks about, it sad how realistic it can be in not only the fact it happens but how it get easily brushed aside with out anyone caring. Was this review helpful to you?

Still one of my all-time favorite dramas
I loved this even more than the first season. That was difficult since I gave a rating of 10 for the previous season.I have to repeat that this was one of the best and most disturbing things I have ever watched in my life. The payoff for watching this show is even better this time around.
Both Song Hye Kyo and Im Ji Yeon deserve the awards they received for the portrayal of their characters.
You do have to watch the first season, The Glory (2022). Otherwise, none of it will make sense.
I give it a rewatch value of 10/10.

Fell off after season 1
Since season 1 was very good (I gave it an 8.5) I cant give this less than a 7.5 but it's underwhelming compared to season 1. I initially dropped it until episode 6 but finished until the end just because of the antagonists' acting (which was good from the beginning to the end) and I was curious about the ending which disappointed me.Positives:
already mentionned
Negatives:
- Song Hyekyo's acting was bland. She had only one expression all the time. I only felt empathetic to her younger self. She's the only reason I rooted for her character (she did a great job as well as the young versions of the antagonists). Same thing for PYJ's husband, at the beginning like many people, I was rooting for him to be with MDE but I guess their chemistry hided his subpar acting skills.
- Who casted Lee Dohyun should be fired. Not only his acting was annoying (I loved him in 18 Again but he had the same expressions there and here even though it doesn't fit, so I guess this role didn't suit him at all), his chemistry with Song Hyekyo, according to my personal chemistry rating scale, was an F. They had no visual chemistry due to the 14 year age gap (and then they dare say that JYJ is older than her). When they kissed at the end I was mad. He's like her nephew and she never even loved him the whole series. I don't understand why anyone would cast Lee Dohyun. He's even more annoying than Song Hyekyo even though he had better acting.
- As someone else said, the FL had a lot of plans in season 1 but in season 2, she got away really easily with luck, and didn't suffer at all. It was boring that PYJ was always the one to lose. Junjae also should have suffered wayy more.
- I would've liked it if Junjae ended up in jail like PYJ, instead of dying peacefully. He should've paid the consequences to his actions. I thought Moon Donggeun was gonna reveal that he raped Yoon Sohee and PYJ cheated on her husband with him.
- What about Choi Hyejeong? Losing her voice isn't enough. And as the doctor said there was a small chance that she could find her voice again.
- Would've wanted to see Lee Sara in jail and Kang Hyeonnam with her daughter again.
- Why didn't we get to see JYJ's revenge on the killer of his father?
- And many other complaints. I'm generous to give it a 7.5 just because of the first season.

On aime.

No geral, recomendo muito!.Was this review helpful to you?
