The Glory 2
The Glory Part 2 doesn’t change the tone of the story—it **deepens it**. If Part 1 was about enduring pain, Part 2 is about watching that pain finally echo back to the people who caused it. Quietly. Ruthlessly. Inevitably. This season is where Moon Dong-eun’s long, frozen patience pays off. The revenge isn’t explosive or dramatic; it’s methodical, almost surgical. Every move feels earned because we’ve already lived through her suffering. Song Hye-kyo is even more haunting here—her calm is terrifying, not because she’s cruel, but because she has nothing left to lose. Her character never asks for sympathy, and the drama never forces redemption where it doesn’t belong.
The villains begin to crack, and that’s where Part 2 shines. Their downfall isn’t sudden; it’s psychological. Guilt, paranoia, and fear slowly consume them, proving that the past doesn’t stay buried—especially when no one ever took responsibility for it. The show refuses to soften its stance on bullying and abuse, and that honesty makes the payoff feel heavy rather than triumphant.
What’s especially powerful is how *The Glory 2* treats justice. It isn’t clean. It doesn’t heal everything. Dong-eun doesn’t magically become whole again—but she finally gets her life back on her own terms. The drama understands that revenge doesn’t erase trauma, it simply closes a door that was left open too long.
By the end, *The Glory Part 2* feels less like a victory and more like an ending that had to happen. Cold, painful, and necessary.
It doesn’t glorify revenge—it shows why some wounds refuse to stay silent.

Excellent Part 1, Unsatisfying part 2
Story: I feel like part 1 set us up really well and made it seem like there would be a long, well drawn out and elaborately satisfying revenge. Song Hye Kyo/Moon Dong Eun kept on hinting at what she would do, however; I don't feel like part 2 lived up to the hype of part 1.Song Hye Kyo/Moon Dong Eun was absolutely tortured during her younger days, so I feel like the perpetrators did not receive the same amount of punishment. Even ruining their careers, public image is not effective because they could easily get it back with some money, influence and connections, which they all have. I feel like the perpetrators did not feel the same pain as Song Hye Kyo/Moon Dong Eun. Tbh, the deaths of some of the perpetrators meant that they could never fully repent and atone for their harm done to others, so I feel like that punishment was an easier way out for them.
Acting: This is by far Song Hye Kyo career best performance. She was utterly convincing in showing the deepest and darkest sides of someone who is solely living to exact revenge on her perpetrators. You root for her all the way, but also feel sorry for her that she was tortured and is now living her life just to bring about justice. She also showed great character growth and development by slowly allowing for feelings other than hatred and anger, as she slowly allowed for some love and light into her life. This gives a message that there is hope to live a good life and to look forward to the future, no matter what we have endured in the past. Brilliant acting from all the cast, the perpetrators acted superbly without shame, never holding back their terrible nature. The supporting cast really made you emotionally invested in the story and in seeing justice prevail.
Overall, a solid production that had some excellent moments. Unfortunately I finished the drama feeling so unsatisfied after seeing everything that the perpetrators put the FL and other victims through. Another unsatisfying end to a kdrama with so much potential.

I recommend The Glory to everyone
Story: The second part was very impactful for everyone. All the targets succumbed to their vanities and delusions of grandeur, and they totally underestimated Moon Dong Eun. The best part was that she never did anything illegal, yet she had them all dancing in the palm of her hand. They literally destroyed themselves. It was a fascinating survival game as anyone would betray anyone just to save their skin. I think that Moon Dong Eun may have bet on that, and she won.
Even Park Yeon Jin’s mother abandoned her only daughter to save herself, just as Moon’s mother did twice, and she got what she deserved.
The second part was even better than the first one as the wrath of Moon and her salvation started and ended with her bullies. I felt bad when she decided to jump off the roof of that building, so I was obviously glad that Joo Yeo Jeong’s mother stopped her.
The last part, though, felt a bit like something must be done about Joo Yeo Jeong and the killer who tortures his mind. Instead of that, I would have liked to see more of Ye Sol’s life with her father or Kang Hyun Nam reuniting with her daughter.
Cast/Acting: The acting was out of this world. I enjoyed every bit of it.
Overall: I recommend The Glory to everyone. It is a drama that will always keep you alert, you will never be bored, you will doubt everyone’s motives, and we have plot twist after plot twist. Most importantly, you will feel all kinds of emotions as the story unravels. I completed it a little while ago, but I kind of miss it because it is just that good.

The Glory – 10/10
This drama had me hooked from start to finish. The revenge? Absolutely satisfying. Every single thing was planned so well, and I loved how calculated and patient Dong-eun was. She didn’t just want revenge—she wanted justice, and she made sure they felt every bit of what they did to her. Slow, painful, and absolutely deserved.Every character had depth, and even the villains were so well-written that I hated them with my whole soul. Yeon-jin? Pure evil, but an amazing character. Every time she got cornered, I felt pure satisfaction. And don’t even get me started on Jae Jun and Sa Ra—I was counting down the seconds until they got what was coming to them.
But what really stuck with me was Yeo Jung’s revenge. His pain was just as deep as Dong-eun’s, and the way he stayed by her side, waiting for his turn, was insane. He was sweet, kind, and gentle with her, but when it came to his own revenge, you could see how dark and broken he was. And I loved that. I just wish we got to see more. His revenge had so much buildup, and while it was satisfying, I needed another season to see him fully unleash all of that rage.
The cinematography, the OST, the acting— all top-tier. Song Hye-kyo and Lee Do-hyun were incredible. Their dynamic was so well done because it wasn’t just romance—it was two broken people choosing each other and walking through hell together.
I just wish we had gotten one more season to fully see Yeo-jung’s revenge play out. He deserved that closure just as much as Dong-eun. But even with that, this was one of the best revenge dramas ever.

As expected I didn't quite get all the details after having that forced break from part I. But I remembered enough to get into the story again. Thank god.
And I still love the whole story. The concept, the storytelling, everything was well planned, well written and played out almost perfectly. I loved the methods the FL used to get her revenge, the people she approached, the way she made them dance at her tune and how everything was slowly unraveled. The characters were well crafted and every actor/actress did a great job with their performing, because it made the story so much more enjoyable.
I don't know why but the husband got some special attention from me. I just wanted to hug him all the time. At the same time he had a strong demeanour which attracted me quite alot, and it only slowly crumbled piece by piece. I really liked his encounters with the FL and it's a pity, that he didn't get more screentime. The only thing I couldn't agree with was his last act. That just didn't fit his character and would have been better to be left out.
The ML was also some interesting character. Being the headsman of the FL worked well despite his bright personality most of the time. Though I do think that the actor could have put some more darkness into his ego, make him more branded. The one thing I couldn't comprehend at all was the love story. It felt forced, I didn't feel the passion. Every bit of intimacy felt out of place, even though I liked the concept of them supporting and using each other.
Definitely something worth re-watching.

Such a thrilling show,
This is my first ever review on this website and i highly recommend the glory to anybody who loves revenge, mystery and thriller. I was very hesitant about watching this show and i would forget my memory to watch it again. This show kept me hooked till the very end. I love how the villains's lives were also portraited as much as the main leads lives. Two of the villains specifically had amazing chemistry and i would love to see them again in another show. Also the romance was kept minimal which i appreciate very much. Song hye kyo and lim ji yeon killed here. I've become a huge fan of them. However i must say this show was a bit confusing at times for example some scenes didnt give proper answers to the previous ones and some questions were kept unanswered. If you get scared easily and bullying/ violence is not your thing then i would say this show might not be for you but overall i think its a beautifully produced and directed show even though i think it would've been better if the main fl punished her bullies with her own hands.
If you want to watch this show or have been thinking about watching it then trust me go watch it rn you wont regret it at all. Its the perfect time to watch the glory now as its November and the glory goes so well wih this weather.
Thanks for reading my review. I hope this helped make up your mind. Have a wondeful day bye ♡

"Not Forgiving Is Justice": Honoring the Revenge Pact
[Italian Version Below / Versione Italiana in Basso]ENG
The single, horrifying image of a curling iron burning flesh is all it takes to set The Glory in motion, but what follows isn't just a shock-value thriller—it’s a masterclass in staying honest with the audience. Whether it's the visceral brutality of Vincenzo or the cold, calculated revenge of Eve, a great drama must respect its narrative pact with the viewer. Where shows like Taxi Driver failed by softening their edge, The Glory delivers a relentless, unyielding story of pure retribution.
~ Casting Precision and Cold Intensity ~
Song Hye-kyo’s performance is nothing short of a revelation. Stripped of all glamour, her icy, hollowed-out presence carries the weight of an eighteen-year-old trauma. While brilliant actresses like Han Ji-min might carry too much natural softness for a role like this, Song Hye-kyo embodies the same deadly, feline darkness that Seo Yea-ji brought to Eve. She isn't playing a hero; she is a walking ghost executing a precision strategy.
~ The Tree in the Woods: Every Bully Meets Their Destiny ~
They say "to err is human, to forgive is divine." But in The Glory, not forgiving is justice. There is no cheap moralizing, no redemption arcs, and no absurd "turn the other cheek" preaching. Instead of direct violence, the protagonist lets the bullies’ own greed, arrogance, and moral decay destroy them from within. As an old off-piste skiing saying goes: "Everyone in life has a tree waiting for them, and sooner or later, they will crash into it." In this story, Dong-eun is simply the mountain guide leading them straight into their tree.
~ The Final Verdict ~
A deeply satisfying, razor-sharp masterpiece that never betrays its premises. Visually striking, impeccably acted, and intensely gratifying.
Recommended for: Viewers tired of forced forgiveness, fans of meticulous revenge thrillers, and anyone who respects a drama that honors its pact with the audience.

~ Casting Chirurgico e Intensita Glaciale ~

Still one of my all-time favorite dramas
I loved this even more than the first season. That was difficult since I gave a rating of 10 for the previous season.I have to repeat that this was one of the best and most disturbing things I have ever watched in my life. The payoff for watching this show is even better this time around.
Both Song Hye Kyo and Im Ji Yeon deserve the awards they received for the portrayal of their characters.
You do have to watch the first season, The Glory (2022). Otherwise, none of it will make sense.
I give it a rewatch value of 10/10.

Well constructed, poorly executed
This review contains spoilers. Please be careful if you haven't watched the series. You are warned!
The series tells us this over 14 episodes: "Revenge isn't enough if it's only physical. True revenge must be slow and painful. It must involve slowly suffering as one realizes all the sins they have committed."
Over 14 episodes, Moon Dong Eun reveals that she has been plotting revenge for 18 years, and her goal is to inflict a slow, long, and painful life on those who hurt her. Throughout the 14 episodes, we see just how meticulously planned each of her moves is. She gets help from other characters, but even that help is a result of her planning. Up to this point, it's truly a brilliant production. But in the last two episodes, everything deviates from what the series promised.
Son Myeong Oh = He doesn't pay the price for his actions. He suddenly dies, and everything comes to a complete end for him. He disappears without paying the price for the disgusting things he did.
Lee Sa Ra = Already in a state of ruin due to drug addiction, she ends up in prison for attempted murder. Since she won't be able to use drugs during this time, the prison will act as a rehabilitation center for her, and when she's released after serving her 5-10 year sentence, she'll have reset her life and continue from there. So, no punishment really...
Choi Hye Jeong = She lost her voice but is physically healthy. She hasn't received any legal punishment. Socially, no one has seen how despicable a person she is. Although losing her voice is a great loss, it's quite easy for her to continue with her life.
Jeon Jae Jun = Just like Son Myeong Oh, he never paid the price for anything. He died suddenly, and until the very end, he was rich and narcissistic. For the character, losing everything and being forced to live blindly would have been a true punishment. But this was only his salvation.
Park Yeon Jin = Her punishment was actually the greatest of all. Being betrayed by her mother, the person she trusted most. Furthermore, for someone who is narcissistic and wealthy, someone who could easily access freedom and anything she wanted, to spend her entire life in prison is a severe punishment. But we only saw her suffering for 60 seconds. There was no "slow suffering" as the series portrayed throughout 14 episodes. She screamed and shouted in anger for 60 seconds, and then it ended.
Regarding Joo Yeo Jung's father's killer; we saw Joo Yeo Jung and Moon Dong Eun planning their revenge, but we didn't see the details. Taking revenge on someone who kills for pleasure isn't easy. You have to get to their soul. But that killer doesn't even care about living or dying. They should have shown us how to take revenge on someone like that. But we didn't see that either.
I think the reason for all this is the rule that "the story must end at the latest in 16 episodes". When this industry standard is introduced, the aim might be to "reduce the number of filler parts and improve quality." But it started to harm shows with complex storylines like "The Glory". If a series has a complex storyline and a deep character arc, it starts to falter in the last 2-3 episodes because they don't have enough episodes left to tie up the plot. For this reason, in many series, the storylines of a few characters are abruptly concluded with a single scene in the final episode, sometimes even in the last 20 minutes. This is why the series fails to deliver what it initially promised to the audience.
If this series had been 18-20 episodes instead of 16, it would have had a much higher quality ending. Hopefully, one day the "16-episode" rule will disappear, and series will be able to be longer or shorter according to their own needs.

Was this review helpful to you?
