I like the storyline
Chu Yunchang hid her identity as the head of the Sengshou sect from her lover, Mao Buyu. Initially, she told many lies, but Mao Buyu loved her deeply, even after knowing Chu Yunsang's identity, he still protected her.It was very sad to see the fathers of the male and female leads die because of Luo Shixun's conspiracy he even framed Chu Yunsang's father for killing Mao Buyu's father. However, the misunderstanding was resolved at the end of the story, it was a relief that the ending was happy even though it didn't match my expectations because Chu Yunsang and Mao Buyu didn't get married.

"The Moment I Met You "Mao Buyu and Chu Yunshang is a perfect couple
The story flowed well and there weren't too many painful scenes, there weren't too many tragedies that happened, and I also liked Chu Yushang's aunt and uncle, as well as Zhizi, their roles were good. I just felt sorry for Wuxia because he sacrificed himself to save Chu Yunshang. I love the chemistry of Mao Buyu and Chu Yunshang, no one gives up on them, they fight for their love even though they are from different worlds. A Poignant, Heart-Stirring Drama / Beautiful OSTs
Much has been written on the other reviews, so I can only write here a concise word about this captivating drama.This drama is quite short, yet it evokes so many feelings on how it is to be human . . .
** A Poignant Show:
The love story between Mao Bu Yu (Ren Hao) and Chu Yun Shang (Song Yiren) deeply touches our hearts, as they easily fall in love, in spite of the so-called "cat and mouse" category of their relationship. Yet, they still remained faithful and devoted with each other. With all the troubles and misunderstanding and the tragedies of seeing their fathers died, such feeling invoke pain and disappointment amongst the viewers, thus making the theme of the show as "poignant".
** It is a Heart-Stirring Drama:
Although this show has 38 episodes, with about 15 minutes on each episode; it is a heart-stirring drama, for me and for my associates who watched is. Each episode has its own scenes that awaken deep feelings of love, loss, or hope.
-- the love of Bu Yu for Shang for what she is, an unconditional love - loving a person no matter her status, flaws and all, without judgement and reservation; and so with Shang, who goes out of her way, to protect the man whom he loved most.
- the loss of several lives - the death of their own fathers and the misunderstandings of who killed them, until the real truth was known to them
- and the hope - which brought the sudden death of Luo Wu Xia (Li Yu Hao), who silently loved Shang and for several times protected her for several times. This young constable has a pure and a humble heart for he had to sacrifice and give way such love to Mao Bu Yu, for he knows that Bu Yu is very devoted to Shang.
Why is there hope in the death of Wu Xia?. It is due to the fact that his dying wish was for his Luo family to reform and repent in the evil ways of his grandfather, the Commissioner of the Gate Bureau.
** Beautiful OSTs:
The OSTs (Original Soundtrack) and the BGM (Background Music) of this enchanting drama are all beautiful and outstanding.
Its music is not just a music; it is a song for every feeling and emotion. Its song tells the audience what to feel.
Hence, the following lyrics:
"One is cold as ice, the other burning like fire
I long for it so much, I crave to return
To the Moment We First Met"

What on earth
Was not what i expected, episodes were no n longer then 18 minutes.. felt like this was a low budget dramaI honestly don't recommend it i literally dont think i watched all of it,
I really felt budget and done over a phone or something

I started this drama solely because it's a short drama and the synopsis sounded interesting!
the acting is meh/inconsistent! (I would've called it bad if I hadn't seen worse!)
the dubbing is bad! lots of incoherent dubs which is hard to ignore.
fight scenes are not good.
the music is annoying.
ZhiZhi has one of those childish voice overs which almost made me drop it! thankfully she doesn't have much screen time.
The story/plot:
-it's a shame that we don't get to see why ml is so in love with fl! he is a heart eyed loving fool from the get go!
-Luo Wushuang's love for ml is as mysterious for me! Her outfits are pretty.
the lack of build up for all relationships has made it extremely shallow and I don't care who is with who!
the lack of chemistry between the leads didn't help either.
-too much "low budget gore" was used for a drama that doesn't know if it's a lighthearted comedy or serious one. (more details on the warnings at the end of this review)
-I think this drama needs a "comedy" tag, it's trying so hard to be funny, but it's not working for me. it's more on the cringe side.
-it got a bit boring midway but I pushed through and skipped some bits to be able to finish it. (I don't think I missed anything while doing so)
It's not unwatchable but it's not something I would recommend either.

It's not too graphic thanks to the low budget but there are scene such as:
*a hand cut off by sword flying mid air in ep4 and blood.
*there are some bits of torture scenes like throwing hot water in ep 6.
*unnecessary amount of blood spatter when someone hit their head to the table in ep 8.

A história é cativante. O casal já está junto no inicio do dorama, o que já é agradável, pois não temos que esperar ficarem juntos como em boa parte dos doramas. Entretanto a luta deles é pra casar convencendo as famílias, mas aí começa o desenvolvimento da história em outros aspectos. A FL esconde sua dupla identidade e por isso começa o conflito entre eles. Quando finalmente tem uma resolução, não temos um casamento que era o que eles tanto queriam desde o início. Mas resumindo achei super fofa a história principalmente porque a FL é fofa e forte, característica que adoro nas personagens femininas.Was this review helpful to you?
