Xiu Fang, an optimistic widow running a fried chicken shop, and her pessimistic, controlling sister Xiu Li face a devastating tragedy after Xiu Fang's 60th birthday: a car accident leaves Xiu Fang's daughter, An Xin, paralyzed and claims the life of Xiu Li's son. Struggling with grief, fear, and resentment, the two families must confront their shattered lives and find a way forward.

The main lead in both movie/drama has no legs. They overcome so many difficulty, prejudice problem, obstacles, financial and emotional and physically struggles and challenges. It takes friendship, family and society love and support to help the handicap to stand up in the society again.
