The ML is being deceived by the family and women (caregiver). ML is in black and sad…drinking lot. He live in a dark room. The family dynamic is dysfunctional and weird. The audience must get through their mask to understand the overall storyline. Both story centers around money and memory.

This is also a family with superpowers hiding their abilities. It’s comedy, drama, romance. Good for the whole family.

The The Atypical Family makes reference to Christmas in August in episode 10. I just wanted to make a note of this for any watchers who are curious about it.

Characters have special powers in both shows. They use their powers for their own gain at first but eventually learn how to use them to help others. They lose their powers at some point. Some characters aren’t what they seem.

Chun Woo Hee plays the FL in both, and although the stories aren’t that similar, the FL in both starts out as a con artist. ML in both also really wants to save/help FL.

Both are part of the best tvn dramas picked up by Netflix. Romantic, healing dramas with a touch of melo and comedy.
