Because both the drama setting in high school and the theme of rich people or families hiding secrets in their lives. Besides that, both dramas are also related to bullying and murder.

Both show the dynamic between rich and poor. The heirs has Kim Tan the arrogant male lead who's kinda mysterious, he has a poor gf aka the FL. Here we have a poor male lead with a secret and his rich female lead. Romance, high school, classism, bullying. Mix The Heirs and Elite and you got Hierarchy.

Similar structure of plot
Both have a revenge system crazy rich students with the poor ones and believe schools are mini society's

Chastity High (Renai Battle Royale) is also set in an elite high school and the main focus is the romance between the two main characters although the sub characters also have their own story as subplot and add some spice to the overall series. The series has strong suspense and thrilling elements but remains a YA romance/drama series that will make you emotionally involved. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an entertaining watch with a cute love story.

Privileged High School kids with dark and twisted views of the world with one of its story arcs centered around complicated friends' relationships. In the end someone(s) will learns to be a better person.

Both Dramas tell the high school drama at a prestigious school and how the main leads fall in love with each other. The supporting leads also contribute to the story line. The acting and appearance are similar as they deal with family struggles. My favorite drama for the last 2 years Meteor Garden 10+.

Restart is very very similar to Hierarchy in that both are school dramas that showcase a strict set of rules and strong class differences between the elite students and the ordinary/poor students with the elite students bullying the poor students. There is a sense of mystery and secrets to be uncovered in both schools.

In fact, Restart seems to be a Thai BL version of Hierarchy, which is a Korean version of the Spanish series Elite.

i know they are both a vastly difference story/plot but hear me out people

After sometime thinking about it, I finally understand why I have a soft for Hierarchy, despite this drama reputation

> FL and ML got into fake relationship
> FL experience a fresh and fleeting relationship with ML
> Even after all that FL still chose SML cause thats what she was USED to and FAMILIAR with
> At the end, it show, they both meet again, just for yet another goodbye lol ML still longing for FL after all that have happened

These development kinda remind me of one of my all time favourite movie, My Pretend Girlfriend.

Poor bastards still hold feeling for the 'cruel' FL despite everything .

Dark high school series vibes with bullying and fighting between students. There is also a sense of mystery and a strong and complicated (non-romantic) relationship between the 2 main male characters as they navigate the school system.
