How to survive in a toxic family ?
Rom-Fam with Uee & Ha JoonPLOT: The FL, a sports coach, carries her entire family (mother, three brothers) on her shoulders. She leads the sessions of the ML (a chaebol's grandson who recently returned to Korea to find his missing grandmother). The company has been taken over by the uncle, aunt, and cousin following some shady dealings (murders?), and they have no intention of handing over the group.

### The description of the families, all toxic, is damning. Some characters (FL's mother, ML's aunt, etc.) are detestable. Both deserved psychiatric treatment :(
### Lots of pointless scenes and characters (ridiculous landlord, neighbor, etc.). It slows down the story.
### The final story arc (father's return & liver transplant) is ridiculous, and the last episodes with the LF escaping for a year are even worse and incoherent, which ruins the ending.
=> Without the last episodes, I would have had a better feeling because I really like the main leads. It's still a relatively good family drama.

PLOT: La FL, coach sportif, porte tte sa famille (mère, 3 frères) sur ses épaules. Elle guide les séances du ML (petit fils de chaebol revenu récemment en Corée pr retrouver sa gd-mère disparue). La Cie a été reprise en main par l'oncle, la tante et le cousin, à la suite de magouilles (meurtres ?) et ils n'ont pas l'intention de céder le gpe.

### La description des familles, toutes toxiques, est accablante. Certains personnages ( FL's mother, ML's aunt, ...) sont détestables. Les 2 auraient mérité des traitements psychiatriques :(
### Bcp de scènes et de personnages inutiles (propriétaire ridicule, voisin, etc.). Cela ralentit la narration.
### Dernier arc narratif (retour du père & greffe de foie) ridicule et l'arc des derniers épisodes avec fuite de la FL pdt 1 an encore pire et incohérent, ce qui gâche la ending.
=> Sans les derniers épisodes, j'aurai eu un meilleur ressenti parce que j'aime bcp les main leads. Cela reste un relativement bon drama familial.

A story about enjoying life
"Live Your Own Life" it's the story of Hyo Sim, she's a fitness instructor who basically doesn't have a life outside of work, because she has to take care of everyone in her family. Her mother is always losing money in some scheme as is her youngest brother, Hyo Do. Her oldest brother Hyo Sung is a good person, but his family are troublemakers and Hyo Sim's middle brother Hyo Joon is studying for the bar exam for years and doesn't work, making Hyo Sim work and give him money.Tae Ho appears in her life and makes her want something for herself, he shows her that life is to be lived.
It's been a while since I watched a 50 episode drama and liked it, but this has the drama's queen Uee, it couldn't go wrong <3
The story is light and easy to watch, the romance between Hyo Sim and Tae Ho is sweet and you ship them since the beginning. The biggest problem is that the rest of the characters are really boring, I just couldn't like any of them, specially because of how much they wronged Hyo Sim and seem to not care about it.

A Contest for Most Annoying
Most annoying characters (in order):1. Hyosim's mother - a leech and totally annoying
2. The bar flunker brother - ingrate
3. The landlady - obnoxious
4. Taemin's father - so weak
5. Taemin - pretentious
Likable characters:
1. Hyosim - tries her best
2. Taeho - seems cool
3. Taeho's grandmother - strong woman
4. Sugyeong - classy and decisive
5. Hyosim's eldest brother - practical and hard worker
Nam Bora's character gets special mention for chasing her dream diligently without relying on anyone.
We'll see how the characters turn out in the end.

I wish everyone could Live Their Own Life!!!
I have about 30 dramas I am currently watching and need to finish lol.I popped on Viki and "Live Your Own Life" is promoting on the home page
and I immediately started watching it even though I had it in plan to watch
as this won't finish until march 2024. I miss Ha Joon after watching him in
"Destined With You", so that is probably why I did not hesitate.
I am currently at ep 5 but had to come on MDL to say how cruel that Aunty
is. Also the Uncle too but not as bad as Tae Ho Aunty. I can't wait to see how
Tae Ho bring her and accomplice down. The FL pisses me off with her annoying
family but come to think of it, she is the only one spending. The brother in college
is sensitive with minimal noise. he really has issues lol. Overall it's a nice Melodrama
to watch with far less entanglement than "The Real Has Come".... If you know!

Really outdated story and characters that are obnoxious and unbearable. At the beginning you feel kinda sorry for the FL but then you get mad about the situation and how she never stands up for herself (with minor exceptions). Not every FL should be a powerful feminist, but this is just too much. You can't even feel empathy for the "good" characters because they simply seem pathetic.
The story is average at best.
The romance is really forced. At the beginning the FL seems to like the second ML but she pushes him away without even explaining why.
To put it simply: Don't bother, just watch something else.
