Watch another drama instead and save yourself 24 episodes of nothing
Every other revenge drama has done revenge a lot better than this show. That's really all you need to know about this show. Every plot point is predictable, every twist telegraphed way in advance, every scene pulled from a different show that undoubtedly did it better. There is NO heart in this and it's not even fun to watch for the crazy stuff... because nothing crazy happens!!! You know exactly what is going to happen, how it's going to happen, and what will result from it immediately. I lost track of how many times I went "oh boy WHO would've guessed THIS would happen????" because if you've watched any show ever... you know what will happen.Other gripes:
- Every character is both smart and stupid depending on what the scene needs them to be. EVERY SINGLE ONE. You could make this a drinking game.
- Still no chemistry between Wei Zheming and Xu Lu. You do not get a sense that the two characters love each other.
- None of the emotional beats hit!
- WHY DID THEY HAVE THE STORYLINE WHERE HER NEW BROTHER FALLS IN LOVE WITH THE WOMAN WHO NOW HAS HER SISTER'S FACE???? AND WHY DID EVERYONE ACT LIKE THIS WAS FINE?????????? NO ONE WAS LIKE "THIS IS WEIRD, DUDE"???????????????????????????????????????? WHY??????????????????????????????????????? (Other than that, I liked Zishan... at least he stayed consistent.)
- One note villains.
- Why was this 24 episodes?
Save yourself the trouble of watching this show and watch ANYTHING else.

The script could be better
Fl truly a pitiful soul, one after another misery keep coming. I feel so frustrated when she continuously get wronged but she is quite witty with tricks. Some part doesn't make sense like suddenly the noble lady knows how to move her body for martial art skill in short period after having a new identity. The method of changing just the face idk its a little bit fantasy. The revenge isn't up to par on how the villains act( they barely suffering like they k word lots of people!) but i guess the villain also suffered from their own previous hardship.As a saying villain doesn't born but created by surrounding and mistake are made by their choices while one mistake lead to another. Although i cried few times in this short 24 episode, the ending makes me feel like there's something unsettled (the letter)? Perhaps season2 in the future idk.
Most problem of changing face and different actor in drama is that i cant get the same feeling as their previous self but the previous and current Luo Ailan have similar cheekbone structure and lips, and some angle their eyes have similar gaze so its not that bad as I can see the original soul inside the new face.
Romance part is okay I guess as it seems this story focus on revenge plot and I love revenge story. Also i love the story value in the very last episode "Punishment purpose is to reform oneself". I think having this kind of revenge is acceptable to teach, instead of following lust as the sole purpose. One would bring even more misery but another one is surely blessing. New perspective of revenge I still enjoy regardless

Not A Typical Romance
Before I start, I just have to say that the FL, when dressed in her red and black clothing, reminds me of an anime character. Now that this is off my mind…Cons:
Some of the characters were overacted to the extreme. The evil stepmother, the evil sister, the self-absorbed sister who wanted to slap everyone, the angry crazy crown prince. Everyone seemed to have a penchant for yelling to prove how angry they were with everyone they encountered. Although their characters were more sinister in nature, they were always angry even when their scheming minds should have led them to a level of calm before the storm.
There was a lot of information the viewer had to put together to make sense of scenes that should have been explained, but probably left on the censors cutting room floor.
The FL’s animosity toward the ML right out after he comes to her home also leaves me scratching my head a bit. If she’s trying to blend into the background why was her character so antagonistic to the law-man?
The 2nd ML gave away the plot to have him fall in love with the FL way too soon. I would say that is the fault partially of the script. There should have been some time for him to struggle with the way his feelings would impact the way people saw him, his ‘sister’ and the family business rather than walking around with puppy dog eyes around her. His role was kinda creepy.
The ML and FL needed to have more time together. One day they were enemies, next day in love. Probably more cut during the review process.
There was no resolution with the evil stepmother. She was a driving force that was put in prison and the poof - she was never mentioned again.
And, while the two evil sisters were living on the streets, there could have been more development of the self-absorbed sister. She’s there, then a brief glimpse of her gathering coins being tossed at her by another angry girl, and then hardly anything after that until the end. More could have been done with her character to contrast her learning about her egotistic behavior in comparison to the middle sister and her constant manipulations and angry outbursts.
Pros:
Once I got past the disjointed and bizarre first few episodes, the drama actually started coming to life. And even though some parts were a bit draggy, the pace was pretty consistent. There were a few holes, but overall it was a good story.
The acting - even the perpetually angry people - was done well.

Hate love triangle
Not so special.A girl who deceived by her family with a change identity she took revenge from them but not in cruel manner but taught them a lesson.
I hate love triangle when both the persons have genuine feeling for a girl and in addition to they did a lot for her.
I hope for second season based on ending.

real nitty gritty doesn't begin till EP 13, like lots of skipping!!
Dunno where to begin....This face-trope was interesting in the beginning, as it sets up the premise for revenge...
But, revenge never really came...
Evil sisters, too many, are at the center of this familial dysfunctional mess of jealousy, greed and utter madness...
I came for the main leads' CP & chemistry, while trying to ignore the big total mess of uneven, ludicrous plots running amok...
I had to skip over many bad plots/acting from the evil sisters & wicked mother...
This drama would've been way concise if it were just 12 EPs of 10-min run each, like I'd prefer to watch it in FULL VERSION real time, just to enjoy the CP pairing alone, but it's just way too long-winded....
Do NOT waste your time lest U can afford to skip around, get the gist, and move along as quickly as possible!

Frustrating to watch
I liked the premise and thought the identity change thing was pretty convincing. I liked her relationship with her brother.BUT: The male lead is just a bully at this point. He's in charge of catching criminals and has an extended misunderstanding arc where he wrongly suspects the female lead because her various revenge-related rendezvous coincides with the activities of a genuine criminal. He's absolutely brutal towards her and she can't do much to fight back other than the occasional snark. HE isn't even a smart man, judging by how shit he is at extracting information even after resorting to torture. Meanwhile, SHE isn't exactly bright either, mainly because the plot needs her to be the reckless one so she could get caught and give the male lead an opportunity to assert his dominance. Yikes, I'm not looking forward to them eventually becoming a couple. Neither am I looking forward to watching her seek her revenge, so far, she seems to be good at two things, (1) using her newfound station to bully those who wronged her in her previous identity and (2) enduring abuse from the male lead 'interrogator' until her new brother shows up and gets absolutely furious at the man

One of the best simple drama i have watched
I always gets the recommendation of well known dramas but this drama i got from one website and when I watched it ,I actually enjoyed itI don't know about others taste but this is better than the one people keep those netflix drama recommending lol
I simply enjoyed this drama
The chemistry is so good and that too without intense skin ship

A vingança mais lenta e desinteressante de todas
Eu gostei do começo da história, fiquei esperando uma bela vingança, mas a FL parecei perdida na própria história. O roteiro é fraco, você consegue adivinhar tudo que vai acontecer. E o pior de tudo é que conseguiram deixar o Wei Zhe Ming com um visual feio.Achei sem sentido o irmão se apaixonar pela FL que tem o mesmo rosto e voz de sua irmã, isso é muito estranho.
A FL se perde no roteiro, em alguns momentos ela é inteligente e forte e em outros é tão estúpida.
Sem dúvidas a melhor atuação foi do príncipe vilão!

c'è più di un cattivo e le motivazioni sono abbastanza plausibili, niente di nuovo come trama ma è comunque piacevole da vedere e ben recitata.
solo un paio di episodi intorno al 18 mi ha annoiata, ma solo in alcuni tratti.
penso che avrebbero potuto usare meglio un personaggio secondario femminile.. ma non vedo cmq l'ora di vedere come risolvono tutti i nodi della trama.
aggiornamento: mi è piaciuto come hanno concluso la serie, i colpi di scena me li aspettavo ma sono graditissimi.
c'è possibilità di una seconda stagione? spero di sì!!
