I'm another fan of this series that is totally obsessed with the actors and plot. I'm waiting impatiently for the next episode! HY is so handsome and I feel bad that he is being ignored by Shao You given how much love he has for SY but at the same time what he did to Shao You was not right so I can understand SY's anger towards him.
The second couple, Gao Tu and Wen Lang are equally as interesting in their love story. I feel bad for Gao Tu for his unrequited love for Wen Lang but can't wait to see a turnaround of this (where Wen Lang accepts his love?) in the next few episodes (spoiler from Youtube).
So I think both couples will have a happy ending as the series progress?
I've read comments here that have really helped make sense of the story since I'm clueless regarding the omniverse world. For example, I didn't know that the only reason why HY pulled SY into the room was because HY was in a rut and he wouldn't have done so if SY didn't go to the hotel where HY confined himself/locked himself. And also another comment that helped was that the only reason why SY couldn't recognise HY was because the room was dark. The room was bright during the series shoot. Same with Gao Tu where the room was bright so I couldn't understand how Wen Lang couldn't recognise Gao Tu but in the novel, the room was dark. Also helped me understand that Wen Lang was "drawn" to Gao Tu that night because of the pheromones that Gao Tu released during his "heat".

Toxic Yaoi Omegaverse

If toxic yaoi is your thing, this is right up your alley. bonus: it’s the first ever omegaverse (sorry pit babe).

I am eating this up every week. it’s like all the webtoons brought to life and I am THRIVING. I love omegaverse stories and seeing it come to life is WILD.

yes our enigma is manipulative to his alpha. that’s why it’s toxic (amongst other things) and his acting is so on point with the differences between his omega/enigma roles.

this is one show obsession I completely understand the hype for. (it’s how I felt with pitbabe s1 - not so much s2)

So binge-worthy

This is the very first drama that I’ve been religiously catching the very day they release an episode. I’ve always been able to resist temptation and wait for the entire series to be out before I watch it. But Desire’s plot is too intriguing, the actors are too good looking, the dialogue too salacious (ep 9)…, especially for a Mainland China production.

The actors played their roles spot on. Eliot Huang is perfect to play Hua Rong. He has the gentility and daintiness of Sheng Shao Yao’s preference of Omega one minute and the calculating dominance of an Enigma the next minute. It is amusing watching HR’s exchanges with Shen Wen Lang with whom he shows his true self. Equally interesting is watching a proud S-class Alpha like SSY continually make concessions (not having s*x for one) for Hua Rong while it binds SSY ever closer. All a part of HR’s carefully laid plans.

I can’t wait til next week when we’ll see how SSY treats HR now that HR’s real identity as the head of X Holdings is out and the extent of HR’s manipulations is revealed. After Ep 10, SSY now believes HR to be another S-class Alpha. Will he know the extent of HR’s duplicity? Will he connect HR to the person who overpowered and then had relations with him? (To pre-empt anyone who has strong feelings about this, I apologize beforehand for any offense. I don’t really analyze all their social ramifications when watching these dramas. I just take it as face value. It’s fiction and purely story telling to me). That said, I can’t stand the wait.. truly a delicious watch, a guilty pleasure.

OMG This is AWESOME!!

At first, I didn't have high expectations because I just wanted to see how the 'Omegaverse' genre would be presented. But after watching the first episode of this drama, I was really surprised by how the actors really immersed themselves in their roles and felt so natural. I was really surprised because I thought it would be just like other 'Omegaverse' dramas, but it turned out to be truly amazing.

In 'Desire,' the acting, interactions, atmosphere, locations, and filming were all really impressive. I say this because I'm currently watching another "Omegaverse" drama (but not from China Mainland). When I watched that drama, I wasn't interested because the acting and interactions between the actors still needed a lot of improvement, making it less than great from the first episode (in my opinion). But after watching "Desire," I almost cried because the presentation of all the components was perfect. I really enjoyed watching it. I'm excited to see how the next episodes turn out. I'm sure they're going to be even more beautiful and amazing.

the first real omegaverse

What i loved:
-its the first real omegaverse bl : they showed omegaverse properly: heats, ruts, pheromones etc
-good introduction to the omegaverse in the first ep
-interesting and addictive story
-the visuals , mls looking so handsome
-making this bl wasnt easy as its a bl from china, they worked hard and i appreciate that, so i highly recommend people to watch legally and support them

What i disliked:
-rushed ending: about half the final ep
-second cp didnt have a proper ending but at least it hints to a happy ending

i heard it was supposed to be 24 eps which makes sense, but overall it was good
i highly recommend people to watch it and to give the show a lot of love

Just finished watching the series, and I can’t help but feel a little lost now that it’s over. There’s always a sense of emptiness when a truly well-crafted show comes to an end. The storytelling, cinematography, and acting were all outstanding. I particularly wish Gao Tu and Shen Wen Lang had been given more screen time — their dynamic was so compelling. Hoping the creators might surprise us with a special episode or even a second season. 🌟
