Prophetic love
I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this: it's a thriller, prophecy, love story, comedy. I didn't expect all of this in one drama. This is a mature story about mature people - this isn't about high school kids or university students. There's a serious and disturbing story in the first half of this drama, which is well handled.I've never heard of the Naga, but now know that lots of cultures have similar folklore.
The action scenes are good and some appear more realistic than some scenes in 'real' action films. The slow burn and tension of the love story is exquisite. The comedy is sometimes a bit cringey, but sometimes really funny.
Only one thing was irritating: Tharn's woodenness. Initially, I thought it was Babe's acting but realised it was his character's fear and self-protection. He became less wooden as he relaxed and opened up.
That scene (you will know it when you get there) when they first stay in Babe's condo....phew...
What I liked: the acting - the pain and loss on Phaya's face was so well communicated. The distraught look on Tharn's face, and his behaviour as a result, was obvious and realistic.
What I didn't like: the female characters weren't great - apart from the grandmas, who I loved (particularly Phaya's as she pulled herself together to accept the revelations she was being told).

A pleasant series to watch but with some imperfections
What's striking about this series is that, although it's tempting to compare it to KinnPorsh, it's the exact opposite. Here, the writers focus more on the police and fantasy plot than on the love affair between the two heroes. The references to Buddhist mythology are appreciable, and the storyline is well-crafted.The story is followed with interest, without excessive length. It works. But this series has one big problem: the acting, which really isn't up to scratch. And the further we get into the episodes, the worse it gets. The ending, though interesting and less Manichean than might have been expected, is spoiled by it. Too bad!

incredible
the story. the chemistry. the acting. just wow. It's not to often I wright a review. but this show was so incredible! the romance the story line, mixed with the fantasy. I cannot get over how well done this whole series was done! we need more like this! it was so beautifully balanced with each aspect! it kept you wanting more each second. there was very very little filler content which I appreciate so so much. Nearly every scene was intentional and deliberate. I want to see the main couple in other dramas together along with the IDF investigation team they all worked so very well together! the grandparents of the main couple as well where Relevant the story line. often times you see parental figures as extra and all scenes they are in are irrelevant and used for filler content to make the series longer. I found in this show that was not the case. they played a role that was crucial to the character development and the actors line as a whole. Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome Love Story But......
This is a stunningly beautiful production with a love story that is so entrancingly told that I honestly did not see two men in love but simply two individuals in love. It really was a love story that transcends genders and epochs. This is a romance that begins between two mythical Hindu/Buddhist deities named Garuda and Naga long ago. Throughout the ages, each continue to be drawn to each other in a way we would call destiny. Had the saga simply stayed with the journey of Phaya and Tharn, this would have been an apotheosis. But unfortunately, it became unwieldy and got so lost in the development of subplots, specifically involving a troupe of them becoming police officers, and solving a crime, that the love story almost took a back seat. And frankly all of that was so superficial and unnecessary to really what was in essence an alluring love rhapsody. The story of who they were is so much more important than what they were but unfortunately the production got so bogged down in the storytelling that the love came in sporadic waves, thus in a sense diminishing the emotional impact of their bond considerably. Was this review helpful to you?
The Best Series Ever! I repeat, the Best Series ever!
If you're wondering whether you should watch this masterpiece or not, I'm here to tell you that you definitely should! The sign is one of the best series I have ever watched. Everything about it was awesome! The acting was great! The chemistry between the main leads was sizzling! and the story got me hooked from beginning to end. I found myself eagerly waiting for new episodes each week. There was never a boring moment for me. Each episode brought something new, fresh and thrilling and kept me glued to my screen trying to analyse and dissect every single detail as the plot unfolded.
After watching many disappointing bl series full of cringe-worthy scenes and the same old boring storyline, the sign definitely quenched my desire for something different and unique. It rekindled my interest in bls. I will definitely be looking forward to more exciting work from the same lead actors!!! Their chemistry was hot hot hoooot! This was without a doubt a 10/10 for me. A must-watch for every bl fan.

Thoroughly enjoyed it !
I didn’t think I would like this storyline, but amPleasantly surprised. The storyline can be a bit crude, especially in Ep 5, but I just skipped through those scenes. The storyline flows and has some special effects that are not over the top. The fight scenes are done well. Actors all did a phenomenal job with evoking emotions and suspense. Great job. Keep your eyes on them for more for sure.
While this is 12 episodes with several “chapters” in each, it doesn’t feel like they were trying to stretch out the story. Depending on your personally it might have areas of slowness. I didn’t feel that way at
all.
This drama would benefit from a special effects make up artist to make some of the wounds more believable like in ep 8 3/4. But it is so short you can forgive them. The costumes from the past could be a little more refined. The just look clunky and ackward to wear for the actors.
The suspense in this drama has a good balance within the story. While it is one of the central plots it doesn’t overshadow the main plot of the two lovers finding each other l
The one thing is ep 8 that drove me nuts was when he lost the amulet and Tharn saw it in the items the nurse gave him but didn’t INSIST it be out back on Phaya. When is he going to remember it?? And get it to him?
While Tharns character was also a female
in a previous life, find a way to charge the smile into more feminine version.
This isn’t a a fully loaded BL drama, but it did a great balance of adventure, longing and love. The intimate scenes did not need to see full on nudity. Good camera work would have still got the feel for it all.
The music did a great job setting the tone and the people who did captions also stepped up with the sounds descriptions. It all added to the storytelling of this drama.
Great job!

Feels like Water after a drought
For me, most Y-Series this year weren’t it. Boring plots, bad chemistry or chaotic directing.I dropped most of them or just put them on hold for an indefinite time.
A day after the first episode aired YouTube recommended this series for me. I hadn‘t seen much about it before but this did not matter. Not even five minutes in the show I was hooked.
An episode with airing time of more than a hour.
12 episodes in total.
Amazing chemistry and stunning cinematography.
This series had a good start and I am exited how this story will develop.

Exciting Adventure!
I am really enjoying this series so far. The cast has amazing chemistry, and from the get-go, we have a feeling of camaraderie and side character development which I love. The storyline is unique, and I am curious as to how the plot will unfold. We already have multiple plotlines going within the first 2 episodes. The Leads have stellar chemistry and I love their flirting, and character development. The production is fantastic, we have amazing settings, and multiple locations so far and it is just hitting the spot for an overall excellent series! I love that we have a fantasy, folklore element as well because it adds mystery to the show! Was this review helpful to you?
AN UNDERRATED GEM!
I was so excited about this drama from the moment they dropped the trailer and they truly did not disappoint me! It has absolutely everything one would need to make a good series - an interestingly new plot, great acting, outstanding chemistry, beautiful cinematography and perfect music. The camaraderie between the cast both on and off screen is so good which is why it makes the show even more fun to watch. And the way they are showing us Thai culture - the history, traditions, beliefs and mythology - is just so amazing and informative. Every Saturday they go beyond my expectations!P.S. I don't usually write reviews but for this one, I just had to lol :p Please go watch it on Idol Factory's YouTube channel!

Thai culture in BL's
When we you see the poster it seems like action thriller something like that but director driven us into thailand culture world which makes plot interesting as well as engaging too. If this series continues to keep up this pace then it tops the charts at 2024 too. There is no cringe events and unwanted skinship but there are quite few naked especially bathroom scenes. We need more like this plots , i love until we meet again similar one like this but it is unique which we never often see in bl's but this series is very unique as well as showing us the history or their are clans of both powerful creatures like garuda and nagas. Even i love the VFX or CGI part too. The writer manages this plot very well even though it is a novel they made it beautiful for the viewers to watch it. Hatsoff for their dedication in each frame the hard work paid off really well. It is highly recommended one.Was this review helpful to you?

Story
Couldn't wait to watch this series as it wasn't the usual trope we are used to seeing but it didn't live up to the hype. The two main actors playing Phaya and Tharngelled well together and were believable lovers but you need more than pretty boys to make a series work and it fell at the first hurdle for me. The story was strange especially when Phaya had to dress in an outfit which was awful and changed into a winged bird and Tharn
being classed as a woman he fell in love with and tharns doctor being the evil one.Just weird. Loved the actors Billy and babe and I hope they get together again in a BL preferably 😂.Loved the theme song by Shen Li.His voice is perfect..

Perfection doesn't exist, but The Sign could be the drama of the year
It's been a while since the last time I binged watched a BL drama, The Sign got me hooked to the point I was walking to school watching it.The plot is intriguing and the fantasy element is well-mixed with the real-life plot, resulting in a stunning BL where finally you have more to watch than skin (but I have to admit: what a STUNNING cast!). I feel like Bl dramas these days plays a lot with the Nc scenes and it bores me to death when this happen. To those who enjoy this kind of stuff, you won't be disappointed by the tension and the hottness of the nc scenes. Those who, like me, don't really like the obsession with Nc scenes, you won't be disappointed either since it's all so loving and well acted that it looks WAY MORE than just a streamy scene.
This topic leads to another key point of the show: the leads actor are just crazy good. Their chemistry is out of this world. Phaya's actor did a crazy good job potraing the character: I could feel his panic, his love, his worry. Just crazy. Less convincing, to me, has been Tharn's actor - maybe it was the character, but his acting was a lil bit stiff often wearing the same face. But that sharp mask just melts during the love scenes - sometimes in his eyes there ware so many fellings I cried.
The rest of the cast did an amazing job too: I loved Yai's character and the playfullness between Kheem and his "Baby". The supporting actors contribute with fun backstories, loads of affection and deepness to the storyline. I just love them so much.
If I have to find a flaws, I'd talk about the lack of evolution for the Doctor's character. His decision in the last episode was rushed and too kind of him for what we had seen in the previous episodes. I wished they solved the issues differently, or just gave him more space to grow. Kudos to the actor, though, he's AMAZING.
