Absolutely knock out!!
Since My Dearest finished I’ve only given out a couple more 10 ratings in about a year. Wow, wow, wow. What a masterpiece!Finally Byeon Woo Seok has his day. Why on earth it took the drama land folk this LONG to give him a ML lead part with a happy ending I don’t know. Let’s hope he stays squarely in that spot now. We all know we only endured that disaster of a show Strong Woman volume 2 because of him.
So well cast. Everyone- and I mean absolutely everyone on this cast played their roles to perfection. Lets give that casting director a gold medal.
While yes the revolving nature of this story started to get exhausting-I have to admit it was well written.
I was hooked from start to finish. The chemistry and the humor hit the spot.
The arc was simply beautiful.
Thank you for a wonderful show, that goes on the list of must watch reruns.

THE BEST K-DRAMA EVER!! ☀️✨
Wow! I can't believe that was the ending of such an amazing drama. The chemistry between the characters was so sweet and overflowing, I just want to eat them up their are so cute, words can't literally describe how much I love them. Watching this drama was an emotional rollercoaster for me. One moment I was crying, the next laughing, then swooning over the actors, and then shocked and crying again. Despite being a mess of emotions, I enjoyed every second of it. This is now my top favorite drama☀️.As a long-time fan of Hyeyoon since "Extraordinary You" and Wooseok from "Record of Youth", I was excited to hear that they were cast together. My anticipation grew so much that I even read the webtoon "Tomorrow's #1", which I thoroughly enjoyed. I watched as the title changed from "Time to Walk Through Memory" to "Carry Sunjae and Run", and every time they attended award shows to promote the drama or posted teaser photos, I constantly checked for updates and eagerly awaited the premiere. Like many others, I didn't anticipate its immense popularity. Seeing them reach this level of success feels incredibly rewarding and I am truly proud of their achievements. They say opportunity comes to those who are ready, and they truly deserve this success!!
The anticipation for each episode was like no other show, except maybe “Queen of Tears” and “Twinkling Watermelon”. But even then, I was more excited for this one. The chemistry between Sunjae and Im Sol is incredibly insane, it got me kicking my feet and punching my pillow. Their journey from sweet first love moments to intense, angsty scenes was incredibly portrayed, and their love story is so heart-wrenching that it transcends every time line. Kudos to the actors for executing all these shifts flawlessly🦋✨. Ugh, and the comedy aspect of this drama, I was laughing so hard lol. Whether it was Im Sol embarrassing herself in front of Sunjae, Sunjae's peak loser moments (which was my favorite), Sunjae’s dad and Im Sol’s mom moments, Inhyuk being stuck in between the 2 leads, or the interactions between the other characters, they made me laugh with tears🤣.
The cinematography was breathtaking. Each scene made my heart flutter or drew me deeper into the drama, especially when paired with the beautiful OST’s and BGM. I appreciate the hard work and attention to detail from everyone involved in making these captivating scenes possible, including the director, writers, Hair/makeup artists, staff and everyone else that was involved. Thank you for your tireless work and attention to detail you made this all happen, I really appreciate you guys. THANK YOU LOVELY RUNNER TEAM AND CAST 🫶🏻.
Oh my gosshh!! Don't even get me started with the OST’s every single one was so emotional that made me cry a river or enjoyable to listen to. A shout-out to the composers and musicians who made these beautiful pieces. And the Original classic timeless BGM where so good too. My top favorite songs right now have to be “Sudden Shower”, “I Think I Did” (Original and Cover), “I’ll Be There”, “Star” (both ver.), “A Day”, “Spring Now”, and “Run Run”🎶💽✨.
Kim Hyeyoon and Byeon Wooseok deserve an award for their impressive performances. Watching the behind-the-scenes and interviews, I saw how hard they worked in the cold weather, pouring out their emotions to create beautiful scenes every day for 10 months. I'm glad they had each other for support and had fun while filming. I hope they maintain their wonderful friendship, and I look forward to seeing more of their work in the future💗☀️✨.

Best Drama of 2024
It would seem like your regular romcom but Lovely Runner actually has so many layers to it that will make you want to watch more.Kim Hyeyoon has always been one of the best actresses of her generation and her portrayal of Sol was perfect. She was definitely meant for the role.
No dull moments, perfect soundtrack, amazing chemistry. Definitely will come back to it in the future whenever I need a pick-me-up.

This drama deserves its high ratings! Trust it because I didn't and proceeded to watch without much expectation but OMG.... So yeah, I almost regret not watching this drama due to the low ratings given by some commenters here labeled with "Most Helpful Reviews" which didn't help at all because that discouraged me from watching it instead. I first watched Twinkling Watermelon before this one and I loved it! I would rate that one 8/10 but nothing prepared me for all the emotions I would feel from Lovely Runner which has a similar storyline. I laughed a lot, cried a lot, and fell in love again and again. The main leads both gave justice to their characters and they have such strong chemistry! Kudos to the cast, writers, and directors of this drama because it's very well executed. I'm a certified K-drama and C-drama fan and for me, this one is hard to surpass. I've seen more dramas after watching this but I find them lacking and bland.Was this review helpful to you?
SolJae is the best ever
Now this I'll add this as my one of my favorite series ever. The story, the character, music and all was perfect. I want to thank the writer in this series your so so so superb ever. Every episode were not predicted every episode I'm was crying but thank you because there had a happy ending. From now on I don't know how to move on every time I heard the song (sonaki) I'm crying again. And I want to thank every character superb every character was fitted on it. Lovely Runner truly stole my heart. The cast was perfect, and I’m especially a fan of the main lead—he portrayed his emotions so sincerely. What touched me most was how he fell for her first, but she ended up falling even harder. The emotional depth between them, the way he acted brave around her while being soft inside—it felt so real, just like how we are in real life when we love someone deeply.This drama beautifully showed how love often means letting go to protect the other person. But when love is real, it finds a way—no matter what. Their dedication, their connection, their youthful emotions—everything felt so refreshing and genuine. It made me feel warm, happy, and full of hope.

Lovely runner has become one of my favourite kdrama of all time . Sunjae and imsol has one of the best chemistry i have ever seen in a kdrama series❣️ and i really love all the ost in the series. my personal fav is sudden showers, 10cm spring snow and like a dream.

This show was great!When i first found out about it, i was super excited and was waiting for it to come out and the first Tenish eps were good and such a roller coaster. the first weekly ep was happily ended, but the second weekly ep was always sad, but left me wondering what was gonna happen next week.
after some time the plot was kinda like everywhere and it started getting abit annoying how much the FL would refuse him, and the amount of times she kept going back in time was crazyyyy.
I think the show could have been like 12 eps or maybe even 10.
Though there are complaints, i would say the ride and the fandom made it worth it, and i barely finish shows when they are released weekly, but this one i did! overall the chem was good and so was the acting.
I would say a 9/10 is great for this show, would i watch again, def, but idk if ill be able to fully finish it since it's quite long and dragged out.

Some stories do manage that suspension of disbelief just a bit more smoothly than others. And Lovely Runners seem to be able to introduce us to the logics of their little fluffy, rom-com universe quite seamlessly and therefor making the more unbelievable moments feel both earnest and earned enough that is just might work. Or you are willing to forgive it despite how much of a fan fiction this story feels like it is.
The drama has a tendency to use excessive amount of tropes in it's storytelling, like the clumsy heroine, noble idiocy, miscommunication and so forth. The amount of times the two leads fell into each other arms was way to excessive to become endearing after a certain point. It also does have a tendency to drag out the plot and the twists on a bit too long as we get further into the story resulting in some pacing issues.
Towards the end the story, the convoluted timelines and the murder mystery subplot does becomes more of a burden to the drama, causing it to lose some momentum - I feel like episode one and until around 10 is this dramas sweet spot. Things just seem to be happening to the characters without too much depth but the character have such a good emotional core within them, despite me wanting a bit more development from them as the timelines become more messy and annoyed as things are just happening to keep the plot going, no matter what you are rooting for them to get together in the end.
The actors certainly add more spunk and feelings into these characters than they have on paper and really sell the earnest of the story and keep you coming back for more. It's a fluff, it's tropy, but it's fun and bubbly and compelling enough and you never really get the sense that the drama is trying too hard to be something more than it is. It's a breezy, cute watch with very likeable leads and characters that you enjoy spending times with despite it's flaws - I just wish we could have gotten more scenes with the second male lead.
The drama manages to blending humor and cliché with heartfelt moments and I do think the drama does a good job making you feel very at home in it's world and therefor invested in it and so light and airy that you just enjoy these moments with the characters. The drama creates a narrative that is light-hearted yet earnest, as it finds the most absurd situations and gives the characters enough stakes that you want to cheer them on and make sure that they finally get their happy ever after.

Just Go and Watch it!
Initially, I was contemplating whether to watch it or not. And I am glad that I watched it.I think rather than the storyline, the chemistry between leads hooked me till the end. Gosh.
My single soul craves such love.
If you're in the drama slum and nothing's catching your interest, this drama may be a good choice as it was for me.
HIGHLY Recommended!! <3
But be ready to cry your eye out because it is worth it.

where do i begin?
this is one of the best Kdrama of 2024. and tagal kong inignore tong palabas na to kahit lagi kong nakikita sa feeds ko kada scroll ko sa fb naspoil na nga ako dahil sa mga post, memes, and clips na nagkalat. i really don't have time to watch Kdrama at the moment pero luckily nagka long weekend kami di ko na rin natiis kaya pinanood ko na kahit on-going pa. sobrang nakakaadik talaga bawat episode never akong inantok never akong nagfast forward unlike sa mga previous Kdramas na di ko na papangalanan pero di ko talaga matapos tapos ang dami kong pending sa listahan ko hahahaha pero ito? juskolord tinapos ko talaga within the day hahahaha sobrang nakakatuwa yung mga silly funny moments nila. yung saya ko dito kasing level ng saya ko sa funny moments ng Waikiki at Weightlifting fairy kim bok joo. tbh di ako nagagwapuhan kay byeon woo seok before ilang beses ko na sya napanood sa Soulmate pati sa 20th century girl saka strong woman nam soon.dito sa lovely runner ibang klase yung charm nya shemay parang kpop idol talaga sya. ang ganda pati ng boses nya LSS ako sobra sa Sudden Shower sya pala talaga kumanta nun? tapos yung concert ng eclipse habang kinakanta ni sunjae yung sudden shower iba yung awra nya dun grabe naiiyak nalang ako sa sobrang melancholic nung pagkakanta nya. kung pwede lang sana magkaconcert sila as if naman kaya ko makanood if ever bwahahaha. pero overall sobrang ganda talaga netong Lovely Runner kahit gusto ko nalang sakalin yung taxi driver/killer na yan nang matapos na problema nila saka frustrating minsan si im sol ang reckless ng lola mo stubborn din eh i have nothing against kay hye yoon sobrang galing nyang artista hahagulgol ng iyak then after hahalakhak ang hirap kaya nun , ibiblame ko sa writers ng story yung frustations ko sa character nya hahaha
pero dahil sa palabas na to feeling ko naging high school ako ulit sobrang nostalgic yung feeling habang pinapanood ko to parang sarap mainlove ulit nowadays kasi ihi nalang nagpapakilig saken saka Kdrama bwaahahaha di ko kasi naranasan yung gantong klaseng love nung teenage years ko sadt hahaha pero thankful ako sa drama na to naging escape ko sya sa harsh reality ng buhay hahahahaaaays. anyways sana happy at satisfying ang ending nito at hindi open ended bittersweet ending gaya ng Extraordinary You kasi kung hindi naku sarap kalbuhin ng writers bwahahahaha.

Time travel not easy to conceptualize
Not sure if these are spoilers......................................After watching this drama, I have some misgivings about the whole plot. Something is amiss, and the timeline is vague and obscure. It got so ridiculous that they both have 2 past abduction scenes(her wearing school uniform and another scene of her wearing yellow.) and 2 present situations( both of her being able to walk,not a paraplegic anymore. Present MALE LEAD, Ryu, rekindles the relationship and another he who has no memory of imsol at all). Now, imo, both multiverse of the characters being presented in one universe is a bad idea. Characters in this story SHOULD BE in one universe. they can exist in another universe but they should not exist at the same time,imo. This drama does this, and it gets a fatal flaw following that kind of storyline. It gets so messy to the point that many plotholes are bound to happen.Inconsistencies are here and there.
1) in the earlier episodes, everytime she mentions about the future, " time freezes" and ryu seonjae can't hear what she has just told him nor can see the texts that she has written. Then in the middle episodes, she has successfully told him about his dying," time freeze" was not doing its magic. Lol. overriding what has happened in the prior episodes.
she Is a paraplegic in the past[(2009), maybe caused by her being abducted? The series didn't specifically give the reason why she became paralyzed down].she should remain in that condition in all "present scenes(2022)". I got surprised why she could walk all of a sudden without forewarning in the present ( looks like in episode 7 when she thought she was in ancient goryeo)from the middle and to forward episodes. She was wheelchair bound in 2022 (present)when she watched ryu's concert. She got to see the announcement of his death on the big screen outside the concert venue. So from her hospital stay in 2009 till present 2022 , she can't move from the waist down. It was that long since that way, 13 years to be exact! So how come she can walk again? That beats me!
The plot deals on how she could save her idol, Ryuseonjae, who has inspired her to live her life and not be despondent about her condition,but instead, what the storyline gave us as the past is more on her abduction( why 2 abductions? It should only be 1!) and did not delve on the cause of the suicide of Ryu or murder of Ryu( storyline did not touch this topic at all) so she might have prevented it!
But anyway, the death of Ryu has come to pass and it could never have been prevented because one can't undo a past action. The latter episodes became more ridiculous because Ryu has come alive and totally becomes amnesiac on his relationship with imsol. This is one BIG plothole of the story( done so they can have many romantic thrilling moments together?,lol)
The events that have unfolded is not because of the novel imsol has been drafting. Imsol wrote the novel based on what she has experienced in the last 15 years. It is not the novel dictating the events in imsol's life,imo. And to me, granny has beginning alzheimer's, nothing more to it. She is not a time traveller,imo.
I would like to mention that I don't like Kim hyeyoon's getting her eyes look BIGGER , in surprise, or in anything she does. She is over-acting quite a bit here. Funny how many times I have counted when she is doing THIS facial expression!
So I STILL I cant get it. Were the 2 years( it was mentioned 15 years gap. 2009 is the year of her accident and 2022 is when Ryu committed suicide, so 13 years apart and 2 years as neighbors,2007-2009)of living as neighbors mean they know each other and are a couple?( romantic moments together) or they don't know each other?( imsol blatantly said she doesn't know Ryu and the band Eclipse during a phone in call in her hospital room and when she avoided meeting Ryu during her last time travel so they didn't get to know each other). I'm still at a loss here. The more logical thought would be that they don't know each other and then proceed to get to know each other till they become a couple. But this will NEGATE somehow the" time travel" concept of the storyline. It will make all those earlier episodes wasted! That's why I said that time travel is hard to form as a drama series because it is very abstract and somehow hard to conceptualize. It really needs a good directing and screenplay to pull it off nicely. One title I have in mind is the Chinese drama " shining for you( shown in 2022)" which is done so well!
Some things( surely not the messy plot)rescued this drama. It gave us many comedic relief moments in between, like the competition of the men for imsol's attention, the lottery scene wherein it showed the reason why their win is so low, the condom issue, the brother's "role-as-an-actor scene in the hospital to name a few. I have enjoyed these scenes so much to give a passing 5 score on this drama. ( If it were not for these funny scenes, this drama is a fail in story presentation).
I grade dramas based on the freq uency of plotholes, as well as inconsistencies to the storyline. There should also be " continuation" and free flow of the storyline and character development. Cheesy romantic moments are not what I come for in a drama
