A procedural drama with a Kaiju Flavor
From the production, story, acting, visual FX and OST; it's a very well crafted procedural drama with a Kaiju flavor.Especially love how they breathed life to the titular Ultraman, making Blazar an immediate standout and utterly charming character in his own right.
SKaRD is a small team that's been tasked with the impossible and I love how they put their skills and resources to achieve miracles.
It's very fun to look back on episodes and recontextualize it, making it's rewatch value very high.

Ultraman Blazar felt like a return to the classic Ultra series: a focused and serious story, a protagonist who isn’t an inexperienced teenager but a family man, and a more “humble” narrative progression that avoids overly grand ambitions.The biggest flaw of this season, in my opinion, is how rushed it feels. It seems the writers had more to explore in each situation involving the characters, but were limited to just 25 episodes to develop everything. You can sense they wanted to take more risks (especially considering how episode 25 feels almost like a farewell to the protagonist until halfway through). Still, what was delivered fortunately does not disappoint. And what can be said about the effects? Tsuburaya completely outclasses Toei. The episode direction, especially during action scenes, could have been a bit more dynamic, but it’s far from bad.
Let’s see if the movie expands even more on this fantastic Ultra universe.

Ultraman Blazar | A melhor introdução pra qualquer um.
Eu esperava que Ultraman Blazar fosse uma coisa bem diferente do que a gente viu na New Gen, mas fiquei muito surpreso quando vi que era exatamente a MESMA coisa de Ultraman Z, é só uma série muito criativa e feita com tanta paixão que dá pra sentir de longe.Tudo nela é muito bom, os personagens são carismaticos e bem desenvolvidos, a trama é interessante e desde o inicio tem construções pra seu ato final, as lutas são maneiras, a trilha sonora também... nossa é tudo tão bom.
Destaques para a comédia muito bem encaixada e sutil, e pra os Kaijuus que a maioria são 100% novos e IRADOS PRA CARALHO. Essa também é a série de Ultraman que mais tive apelo dramatico no final, junto com Ultraman Z e R/B, é um peso gigantesco e torna o finale da série um dos melhores da franquia.
Dito isso, acho que a trama final é um pouco confusa, eles constantemente trazem ela de volta mas depois de algo enorme acontecer eles vão e param no meio pra mais um episódio aleatorio sem dar explicações sobre o que rolou, o que em uma trama de plot twist como Blazar acabou me atrapalhando bastante pra entender 100% a história que eles queriam passar.
Enfim, sensacional!
