Child Abuse has consequences

but not everyone who is abused turns into necrophilic murderer and cross-dressing is mostly a benign pastime.

Proud of her!

I was worried when the uncle figure called Qin Wan out. Thank god he still hasn't voiced out his true intentions to her, instead, asked her to take on a murder case. Fast forward, it was delightful to watch the initial coroner changed his attitude towards Qin Wan. He wasn't impressed with her from first meeting, but then quickly gave her his respect after seeing our FL's thorough actions towards the autopsy. I'm so proud of her~ ( ꈍᴗꈍ)✨

Necrophilia case

This is one sick bastard. It is vile and gross on so many levels I can’t be disgusted enough with it. The one thing I underestimated with Qin Yan is that he was sympathetic for Wan and Prince Chi. I did not give him credit for any care or understanding in this regard. That was a pleasant surprise for a Qin male. The father is self serving, but unlike An, he seems to be reacting as a last resort means of preservation for his family . The women on the other hand are exactly like the ones we just left behind and the 2.0 version. She is more than welcome to the crown prince. I am hoping she spots the affection Wan has elsewhere so no machinations required to get her own way. They are on two completely different paths. It has to be eerie for Wan to be so close to her family home and to have no clue where her parents were buried. Prince Cheng is a vile ass. He likes to give worse and worst choices to his colleagues. His servant probably snuck out the clothes while he pretended outrage at the morgue. Prince Chi will have his hands full outmaneuvering them. He has got his way with ministry position but will owe dowager many visits. Prince Cheng has a deep seated grudge against the Qins. He wants them gone, not just demoted. He wants them off the face of the planet. Considering their vileness, except for the handful of decent ones, I am with him. But, it is not because he is a righteous person looking out for the welfare of the people. He seems to be a bigger viper wanting to destroy the lesser ones. This capital is even creepier than the doc’s place, and that is saying something. If this is the first case they encounter, how much worse are things going to get to root them out?
