Centuries ago, fragments of a mysterious meteorite fell to Earth, causing strange mutations wherever they landed. In the 1920s, a group of tomb raiders ventured into an ancient burial site, where a horrific encounter with a blood corpse left only one young survivor. Years later, Wu Xie, who runs an antique shop while studying his family's collection of historical records, is approached by Jin Wan Tang, who presents a mysterious map fragment. Suspicious of its origin, Wu Xie secretly photographs the document before consulting his uncle, Wu San Xing. After identifying it as part of an ancient treasure map, Wu San Xing agrees to investigate the location. Eager to uncover its secrets, Wu Xie persuades him to allow him to join the expedition, setting the stage for his first tomb-raiding adventure.
