Time Raiders

All three iron triangle characters remain the same as well as the actors. It has both Republican era and modern age understanding.

It's the previous entry in this same franchise (as in: the one that was last released before this one), covering another part of Wu Xie's life, and it also sees Xu Zhenxuan for the first time in the role of Wu Xie.

Time riders companies both TLT 1 & 2 together and it is exactly the same story line.

TR is more fast paced compared to TLT 1 & 2.

If you like the lost tomb universe, it a must watch.

Wu Xie and Wang Pan Zi are investigating the truth behind The Mystic Nine’s trip to Parcel Island and Wu Xie’s uncle’s past while dealing with the disappearance of Wu Xie’s friend, Zhang Qi Ling/"Xiao Ge." Their quest leads them into a dangerous conspiracy. After reuniting with Xiao Ge and joining a new group of explorers, Wu Xie suffers a devastating blow, and Xiao Ge loses his memory once again. They later return home and, seeking answers, embark on another adventure that takes them back to their previous expedition. There, they uncover dark secrets and encounter Madam Huo of the Jiumen Sect, who leads them on a tomb raid of Zhang Manor. A puzzle is wrongly solved, causing Xiao Ge and others to disappear, leaving the mystery unresolved. But Xie Yu Chen offers Wu Xie a glimmer of hope.

It's the exact story line - The CGI is much smoother to the eyes;

TR is much fast paced in comparison to TLT as well as it has very well known actors.

The relationship/bromance between WX and ZQL is well paced in both series; however each one has its own approach in their story telling.

I would strongly recommend both series to people who enjoy this genre.

Both are adaptations of the novel series Daomu Biji by Kennedy Xu. Also the same genre - adventure, mystery, thriller, action packed.

The same intensity, the chemistry is one of the best, the story is intriguing, and the pacing is very good. The OST is so, so good, especially the Zhang Qi Ling song, which will make you listen over and over after the show ends. Rewatch value 100%!
