Something Different and Intriguing!

When I first started to watch this series, I frankly was perplexed by it. It certainly grabbed my attention and honestly, I did not identify the same actors playing different roles. Sincerely, I thought they were different actors as the roles, setup, and stories were so vastly distinctive. But as each of the storylines developed, I did observe that the essence was the same. It was well into the third storyline when I had my epiphany and realized the actors were the same but each of the stories was wildly different. Two young men find each other, fall in love, and form a nexus. However, not always with happy endings. Each character represented different personalities and certainly different outlooks on life. Yet, something always draws the two of them together. And that something of course is love.

absolutely stunning

personally, i was actually hooked on this series right from the first episode. the versatility in their acting to portray such different lives they gave each role was incredible, and it truly was like a sampler to their capabilities. the only problem is i needed each story to go into a full series!
although there was the few awkward scenes, the chemistry between the leads really pulled me right through these moments. i highly recommend this, they are a breath of fresh air, and left me hoping to see them again soon.
truly think that this could be a huge pairing, i just want people to hype them up a lot more!

10/10 acting skills - original plot

I loved every single episode and it just kept getting better and better through out. Both mains acting skills and chemistry was amazing! I only wished we had more episodes because I don’t want it to end.

I deducted 0.5 points only because it is a little confusing and maaaaybe the plot could have been teased a little better. But, all in all it was both original and entertaining.

The ability the actors had to make me feel the feels was top-notch. I hope to see them act more in the future, seperately and together :)

SO WORTH THE WATCH!

One Of The Best!

Two young men find each other fall in love and form a nexus. However, not always with happy endings. Each character represented different personalities and certainly different outlooks on life. Yet, something always draws the two of them together. And that something of course is love. The outstanding quality of this series is that while there is no direct link between stories, it all still flows so naturally. It is an anthology that comes alive for you. There is nothing metaphysical, esoteric, or destined in the stars that fate the two protagonists to be together in each story. It all seems to flow so naturally and organically and without help from any high powers. And to be rewarded at the end with having a feeling of watching something that felt so alive happening, made it all the more special.

Very refreshing!

Great story, unique and unexpected. Awesome acting. All in all the series was very refreshing and I enjoyed it immensely. There wasn’t one boring minute in there. The actors looked and acted naturally and human and the chemistry they created was 100% believable.
The only thing I found a little cringey was the endling. Showing up with the flowers and “stealing” the show didn’t fit perfectly to the rest of how the story went and how the characters behaved - at least not in my eyes - but the actual proposal felt genuine and real.
The show was a breath of fresh air!

It leaves quite an impression

It does. Whoever wanted to promote these two actors had a brilliant idea and made a smart move with this project. The artists are extremely talented and beautiful, and they succeeded in showcasing their skills amazingly. Their beauty is quite uncommon, with distinctive, prominent features. Their talent is simply breathtaking, proving them to be versatile and extremely skillful actors. They succeeded to brilliantly portray very different characters, with very different behaviors and to convey powerful, profound feelings. I was invested the whole series, in every story, to the point that I was thinking about them even at work. And trust me, my job is one which simply doesn't leave space for anything else other than itself in the brains. I am impressed.
Story #1: Dol & Sun
This is set in a fictional universe where people are able to see their soulmates when it rains. Not very appealing to me, and I must admit that for a few minutes I had doubts I could continue watching. But then the actors came and made all my doubts go away. Mick as Dol was an angelic figure (which he is by nature), and Top as Sun was a heartwarming one. The story isn't necessarily special, but the actors/ characters were so endearing that they kept my eyes glued to the screen. In this first story, I liked Dol/ Mick better than Sun/ Top.
Story #2: Prin & First
This plot was even weaker than the first one (for me at least), but again, the actors did such an amazing job that I completely forgot about the scenario. The artists switched roles: the reserved one became livelier, and the sunny, lively one became somber. Here I was equally impressed by both of them, when realizing how skillful they are. Also, seeing them portraying opposite temperaments was refreshing and fun to watch. Top as Prin was classy in a classic way, while Mick as First was simply sweet; he gave off the feeling that he wasn't even acting, he was just being himself.
Story #3: X & Namping
This scenario was a good one. With a heavy theme and profound sentiments, it was an impressive love-story, of Romeo and Juliet caliber, except separation was due to illness. Oh, and both of them are males. Sorry, I forgot. Being deeply touched by the story and impressed by the acting, I cried as if my mother had just died. I couldn't believe myself. The actors were equally impressive, brilliant and geniuses. Mick as X was quite manly, which was unexpected, given his naturally angelic features. Hats off! And when he cried over the death of his beloved, the whole universe collapsed. I believe this will stay with me for a while, and don't think I ever saw an actor crying so tragically, yet so convincing. He was simply a Grand Master of Acting. Top as Namping was another Grand Master. Being the princess that he was in this scenario, I was (and still am) in awe of his grace and delicacy; his whole being was like the shuffle of angels wings. At the same time, he was majestic. He deserved all the devotion in the universe, he knew it and he owned it.
By the time we reached this story, the artists have already travelled quite a journey: from simple, cute, endearing to serious, to heavenly creatures, or vice versa, from angelic to manly, to tragic. Also, the feelings became more and more compelling.
Story #4: Sian & Blue
This is where I liked Top/ Sian better than Mick/ Blue. Now, from the heavenly creature Namping, Top became a manly (but still with a hint of grace) and very sensual one, in order to impersonate Sian. He actually started out with a gremlin appearance, but very soon became an incredibly sexy, tempting character. Every minute, every second, he was exuding desire for his more timid counterpart. Even when he was simply leaning to the wall, waiting for Phukan to finish her conversation with Blue, he was giving off a flirtatious vibe. Mick also did a good job impersonating Blue, a character again serious and a little shy. But this time the couple's dynamic is different from the first story, because Blue is a little more honest about his desires and more playful. In his case, the change of role is rather on the side of subtlety.
Story #5: Inn & Pun
The beginning of this one is confusing because it isn't cut from the previous story, and it makes us think that we're about to see some BTS moments. Which in a sense we are. To clarify, the last scenario is about Inn and Pun, two actors who play the roles of Sian and Blue from the previous scenario.
I didn't really like this plot simply because I'm not into BTS moments, I'm not interested at all about what happens on the plateau during filming. Also, seeing the actors playing their roles while being surrounded by so many people ruins the fairy tale for me. Everything becomes artificial and looses its charm. But the actors did an amazing job again, succeeding to portray a difficult relationship, filled with angst. No sensuality this time. Even the scenes where Sian was like the god of temptation were stripped of any sensuality; they were presented like trivial acts of work made by common people at their job. The focus was purely on the feelings, and the artists did a great job emphasizing them. Inn and Pun were complicated people, with complicated feelings, and had a complicated relationship. But still, they were pure at heart. Both Mick and Top managed to impersonate their respective characters equally convincing, and I'm not sure whether I didn't forget to breathe for a while, waiting for them, as Inn and Pun, to solve their differences. And when Inn started to cry, I literally jumped off my bed screaming "No, no, no! Don't cry! Don't cry! Don't cry!" But I was already in tears. Luckily, his crying wasn't that tragic this time, and mine wasn't as bad.

In conclusion, the journey is beautiful, captivating, fascinating and satisfying. The actors gained my highest respect and BRAVO to all the filmmakers who contributed to this unique story.

Fall newly in love along them in every episode.

Honestly at first I didn't like the idea of many little short story's. I loved the first pairing and didn't want to part ways with them. But Episode 2 quickly hooked me and soon I really really loved them too, and their story was even more amazing and cute and wholesome. I wanted to see more of them. BUT Then episode 3 & 4 apsolutly took my heart. X & Nampings Story was so heartfelt, I brawled my eyes out at the end. The Acting was extremely well and complete swallowed me in each and every episode whole. I'm glad I watched this. I'm glad I got to feel what they wanted me to feel.

I haven't finished this series yet, but It felt important to quickly write my thoughts down. I will finish this review later!

You’re cute in every universe out there

Played by the same male leads, the characters are hopelessly drawn to each other in all of the universes they inhabit. This series is perfect for people who get bored easily.

What’s commendable is that the characters in various storylines not only look different, but also behave extremely differently in terms of how they display their emotions and respond to difficult situations. The dynamic between each couple is also not the same.

The clever part of the series is that it ties together a collection of several storylines involving vastly different characters, played by the same actors.

Top and Mick have done well on this front, as versatile actors who are able to capture every character’s unique essence. They also have superb chemistry across all their characters (some obviously more electric than others), which is quite a feat if you ask me.

While you’ll be able to grasp the storyline completely even with the cut version, the unfortunate reality is that the story comes out a little choppy and truncated. Watch the uncut version for maximum enjoyment!

Mixed Disappointment and Yet, Liked it too

So this will contain Spoilers for those that haven't watched all of the 8 episodes.

I went into this working off the synopsis and the trailer which made it seem as though it would be multiple arcs with the same people in varying lives always finding each other.

Episode 1 made me think of La Pluie with a twist, the color blind until soul mate thing was different and I found I quite liked it. I would have been happier if Sun's ex had a bit more happen after what he pulled, but overall the story kept me watching.

Episode 2 had me enjoying the dynamics in a different way. I was all about Prin and his growth. I also loved his grandmother.

Episode 3 - 4 Namping's character really drove things home. I came to the conclusion that seeing him cry and even in that one seeing X or Ton cry made me want to burn the world to keep them from crying. While I would have liked to have an idea of exactly what it was that Namping suffered from, I feel for so short of story (I mean 2 episodes to tell a great deal) they did damn well at pulling the heartstrings and making me invested in what was going on. I cried and teared up more than once.

I get how Namping wanted to choose not to have X see him at the end, but I also felt that Ton's point was important. I feel that using the cemetary visit for the reveal was a perfect choice, you could see the moment it dawned and it was heartwrenching.

Episode 5-6 this is where I began to get a bit frustrated, at first it was great. The story of Blue and Sian interested me, there were quite a few tropes this one played into as well. Absolutely amused at the way they used food to tease and mimic things. I liked the dynamic. However, at the end of the 6th when it's revealed that they are basically on a movie set and that in actuality Pun and Inn were playing the roles I became a bit disappointed. I felt like it took away from what could have been a great mix.

Episode 7 - 8 with Pun and Inn now the MC's and the entire thing being outed that each of the former stories were simply roles they portrayed I was a bit frustrated. Yet, the chemistry between the actors as they played even the roles of Pun and Inn, plus the added energy that Fiat brought to the roll of Otto, it kept me engaged.

Overall my thoughts are this:

I would have much rather there not have been the misleading aspects of the synopsis and trailer than feel I was investing time in watching something that would in essence be about two souls finding each other regardless of what else came their way. If they wanted to do multiple scenes to show the diversity of actors there were better ways they could have prepared watchers for it.

I did however have to give props to Top, Mick, and Fiat specifically as they embodied their roles and connected with the audience. The versatility of the actors was definitely highlighted in the series.

It's a bitter sweet journey

To everyone wanting a lovestory explained in an interesting but confusing manner, this is for you, great story and the acting is good, would definitely recommend to watch it
Though you should feel up your patience levels, different storylines but on the way, you'll see how they all make a one so damn beautiful story, the writer of this one might really be so wise and mindful, it needs your attention, one look away you'll be left out that's for sure

Deserve Better Attention

You’ve probably seen many comments saying this show deserves more attention than it’s currently getting — and I completely agree. There are so many things I liked about this series, as well as many things I didn’t expect.

First of all, the acting. You can accuse me of judging too quickly, but I have to admit that I initially underestimated the cast and crew. As you know, there are countless BL series nowadays, and most of them are just average or repetitive. The stories are often things we’ve already seen — about adulthood, the mafia, or crime — but with simple, predictable plots. The worst part is that many don’t even focus on storytelling or acting anymore; they just want to sell the series. At least, that’s how I feel.

And of course, being a typical modern BL series, this one also aims to go viral with a few over-sexualized scenes. But on the other hand, its other aspects are nearly perfect for the current standard of the BL industry.

The first thing I want to praise is the acting. Top is always superb in every role he portrays, and this might be one of the best performances I’ve ever seen in Thai BL history — especially the character Namping (I’m sure you know which scene I’m talking about). Mick, on the other hand, is good but still a bit raw, probably because he’s young. He clearly has potential though — he adapts well to every role, showing different expressions and emotions accordingly. Their versatility, especially Top’s, is on another level.

The story and script are refreshing — kind of like an anthology series, which is rare in BL. It’s not technically an anthology, but it gives off that vibe during the first few episodes, and it feels truly refreshing. Seeing this made me realize that if you can’t write a more compelling long story and end up dragging it out with unnecessary subplots (looking at you, GMMTV), then making a shorter series like this can actually be much more entertaining. And if we’re lucky, we might get a talented team like this one.

Lastly, about the crew — especially the director and editor. I have to say, their choices and editing are key reasons why this series feels so good. The cinematography is something rarely seen in BL or Yaoi productions. I also admire how they didn’t overuse cringey background music without purpose. If you’re a movie junkie, you know exactly what I mean — too many BLs ruin good moments by flooding them with unnecessary background soundtracks. I really like how this one lets some scenes breathe naturally, without aggressive music, allowing viewers to connect more deeply with the characters’ emotions.

The script is simple yet effective, and the entire crew is clearly talented. I’d really love to see more of their future projects.

Overall, this series might not be something groundbreaking or entirely new, but it’s absolutely worth your time. I usually don’t follow ongoing shows — I prefer to wait until they’re finished — but I found myself waiting each week for new episodes since episode 5.

Not for me

The concept of unrelated stories being compiled together only to find out they were all make-believe stories being played out by two actors with an unappealing relationship wasn't a scenario that appealed to me. The main couple was shit in comparison to the characters they played, which had amazing relationships. They only broke up because of poor communication so it was frustrating and it felt like I woke up from a really good dream only to find out. It wasn’t real and reality was shitty. That’s what this drama felt like to me.
