• I keep a master list of the currently available film at JF Theater here.

• Recently, I have been trying to reduce my presence here. The overall site culture -- be it the admins' inability to communicate, the admission staff's way of talking to volutneers, the toxic athmosphere in the comment sectios or the overwhelming number of C-Drama posts on feeds -- I have noticed all of this is really not good for my mental well-being.
  I leave comments on my reviews open, and if you want to, you can come visit me on Pillowfort.

• More than a few times, I got into arguments here, where I thought: Why don't you reply to what I've said? Didn't you read before replying? 
  And after happening across this post about the Three-Cueing-Method (which includes a link to a published article). It seems that this is taught in many US-American schools. 
  The people I've been so frustrated with? They can't read. They. Can't. Read. They guess. They have been taught to guess.
  To quote DoktorHobo: "That's appalling, but it doesn't seem like there's any point getting angry at the people harmed by it..." So, instead of being angry, I'd rather not meet these people at all.

• English is not my first language. I don't mind if anyone points out mistakes I make.

About my reviews:

• I don't like it that I have to give star ratings if I want to post a review, so take them with a grain of salt, please. According to this comment by Ji-N3, both overall rating and category rating will be optional with the next update. Though I don't have much hope it'll ever come or if it will have the features Ji-N has tod us about.

• Since I have to rate everything, I try to rate titles within their genres -- e.g. Thai BLs will not be held to the same standard as Korean crime/mystery dramas; short films and low-budget web series cannot be compared to 50-episode-long C-Dramas.
  I also notice that I tend to rate more according to the question of "Did I like it?" -- and I am often very lenient.

• Obviously, everything is just my point of view. Things I find grating might be loved by you -- and vice versa.
